Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (IATA: OPO, ICAO: LPPR) or simply Porto Airport (formerly Pedras Rubras Airport) is an international airport near Porto (Oporto), Portugal. It is located 11 km (6.8 mi) northwest of the Clérigos Tower in the centre of Porto, in the municipalities of Maia, Matosinhos and Vila do Conde and is run by ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal. The airport is currently the second-busiest in the country, based on aircraft operations; and the second-busiest in passengers, based on Aeroportos de Portugal traffic statistics, after Lisbon Airport and before Faro Airport. The airport is a base for easyJet, Ryanair, TAP Air Portugal and its subsidiary TAP Express.

Moreira, also known as Moreira da Maia, is a Portuguese town (vila) and civil parish in the municipality of Maia, Greater Porto, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Duas Igrejas, Rio Mau, Goães, Godinhaços, Pedregais, Azões and Portela das Cabras. The population in 2011 was 12,890, in an area of 8.67 km².

It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Perafita, Lavra and Santa Cruz do Bispo. The population in 2011 was 29,407, in an area of 22.65 km². It is crossed by the A28 (Porto / Valença). The Porto Airport is situated in its territory.

The population in 2011 was 40,134, in an area of 10.42 km². The parish covers the central area of Maia. In 1902, Maia achieved the status of vila (town). Maia was granted city status (cidade) on 23 August 1986.

Custóias is a town since 2003. The town is 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Matosinhos and 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from Porto.

It supported Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7, Windows Mobile, Nokia, Vodafone, and other brands. CardMobili and the Portuguese Bank Banco Espírito Santo collaborated to launch the world's first digital credit card.On April 30, 2016, the application was removed from app stores and online features ceased functioning.

Estadio Prof. Dr. José Vieira de Carvalho is a multi-use stadium in Maia, Portugal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Maia. The stadium is able to hold 16,000 people. The stadium is named after José Vieira de Carvalho, a university professor and former president of the Municipality of Maia.

Estádio do Mar is a multi-use stadium in Matosinhos, Portugal. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Leixões. The stadium seats 6,798 and was built in 1963 and inaugurated on 1 January 1964 with a match against Benfica, who won 4–0.

Custóias, Leça do Balio e Guifões is a civil parish in the municipality of Matosinhos, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Custóias, Leça do Balio and Guifões. The population in 2011 was 45,716, in an area of 18.84 km².

Senhora da Hora (Portuguese pronunciation: [sɨˈɲoɾɐ ðɐ ˈɔɾɐ]) is a former civil parish in the municipality of Matosinhos in the Greater Porto area, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish São Mamede de Infesta e Senhora da Hora. It was promoted from town (vila) to city (cidade) status on 12 June 2009. It lies just north of the Porto city limits and is densely populated. It is a major suburban habitational area with many houses and some commerce. Senhora da Hora is very developed and is well connected by road, bus and Porto Metro to the nearby cities of Matosinhos, São Mamede de Infesta, Porto, Maia, Vila do Conde, the Porto Airport (OPO), and the port of Leixões all north of the Douro river. The large developed town of Águas Santas is also in Grande Porto.

Maia (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈmajɐ] (listen)) is a municipality in the Porto Metropolitan Area, Grande Porto subregion, in Norte Region, Portugal. It is located 11 km north of central Porto. The population in 2011 was 135,306, in an area of 82.99 km2 (32.04 sq mi). There is one city (Cidade da Maia) and three towns (Moreira, Castêlo da Maia and Águas Santas) in the municipality.

Leça da Palmeira (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈlɛsɐ dɐ paɫˈmɐjɾɐ]) is a former civil parish in the municipality of Matosinhos in the Greater Porto area, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Matosinhos e Leça da Palmeira. It has 5.97 km² and had 17.215 inhabitants in the 2001 census. It has a rich cultural heritage, namely Fort of Leça da Palmeira, Piscinas de Marés (Swimming Pools on the Beach) developed by the well-known architect Siza Vieira, Boa Nova Tea House (also developed by Siza Vieira), Quinta da Conceição Municipal Park (by Fernando Távora) and other religious monuments as Corpo Santo, Santana, and Boa Nova churches. It is home of the international Leixões seaport, the country's second largest; Petrogal, and an oil refinery. In sport, the parish includes a football club, Leça FC, and a basketball club, Grupo Desportivo de Basquete de Leça.
