Fenchurch Street railway station

St Katherine Coleman was a parish church in the City of London, situated in St Katherine's Row, on the south side of Fenchurch Street, in Aldgate Ward. Of medieval origin, it narrowly escaped destruction in the Great Fire of London in 1666, but was rebuilt in the eighteenth century. The church closed in November 1926 and was demolished soon afterwards.

The City University Club is a gentlemen's club in the City of London, established in 1895. From its foundation until 2018 it operated from the top three floors of 50 Cornhill, of what was Prescott's Bank, a 1766 private bank which became a branch of part of the NatWest banking group. This arrangement was quite specifically intended by and between the bank's partners and the club of which they were founding members when the building was designed. The branch closed in 1999 and was turned into a pub of the Fullers chain. On 29 January 2018 the club moved to 42 Crutched Friars, the former home of the Lloyds Club.

The East India Arms is a pub in the City of London. The building is located on Fenchurch Street near the place where the East India Company had its headquarters.

Lloyd's Register Group Limited (LR) is a technical and professional services organisation and a maritime classification society, wholly owned by the Lloyd’s Register Foundation, a UK charity dedicated to research and education in science and engineering. The organisation dates to 1760. Its stated aims are to enhance the safety of life, property, and the environment, by helping its clients (including by validation, certification, and accreditation) to improve the safety and performance of complex projects, supply chains and critical infrastructure. In July 2012, the organisation converted from an industrial and provident society to a company limited by shares, named Lloyd’s Register Group Limited, with the new Lloyd’s Register Foundation as the sole shareholder. At the same time the organisation gave to the Foundation a substantial bond and equity portfolio to assist it with its charitable purposes. It will benefit from continued funding from the group’s operating arm, Lloyd’s Register Group Limited. In 2020, Lloyd's Register sold its Energy business and in 2021 sold its Business Assurance & Inspection Services division. Lloyd's Register is unaffiliated with Lloyd's of London, but emerged from the same professional and social circles that historically met at Lloyd's Coffee House, from which both organisations took their name.

Savage Gardens is a minor street in the City of London, connecting Crutched Friars in the north to Trinity Square in the south, crossing Pepys Street. It was part-pedestrianised in 2011, with the carriageway remaining between Pepys Street and Trinity Square. The house of Sir Thomas Savage was here in the 17th century, after whom the street is named.The nearest London Underground station is Tower Hill. A mainline terminus is also close by at Fenchurch Street, as is a Docklands Light Railway station at Tower Gateway.

Seething Lane is a street in the City of London. It connects All Hallows-by-the-Tower, Byward Street, with St Olave's Church, Hart Street. The street is named after an Old English expression meaning "full of chaff", which was derived from the nearby corn market in Fenchurch Street. Samuel Pepys lived there and is buried in St Olave's Church at the junction with Hart Street. A bust of Pepys, created by Karin Jonzen, sits in the public garden at the south end of the street.

Hart Street is a small street in the City of London. The name is believed to have been a variation on hearth, which were constructed and sold here during the Middle Ages. The Lord Mayor of London, Richard Whittington was once believed to have lived on this street, but this has since been debunked.St Olave's on Hart Street was the parish church of Samuel Pepys. The Ship at No. 3 Hart Street opened in 1887, and has been a Grade II listed building since 1972.

St Olave's Church, Hart Street, is a Church of England church in the City of London, located on the corner of Hart Street and Seething Lane near Fenchurch Street railway station. John Betjeman described St Olave's as "a country church in the world of Seething Lane." The church is one of the smallest in the City and is one of only a handful of medieval City churches that escaped the Great Fire of London in 1666. In addition to being a local parish church, St Olave's is the Ward Church of the Tower Ward of the City of London.

Pepys Street is a street in the City of London, linking Seething Lane in the west to Cooper's Row in the east. Savage Gardens crosses the street. When the Port of London Authority Building was erected in 1923, Colchester Street was extended to Seething Lane and renamed after the diarist Samuel Pepys, who lived there during the Great Fire of London.The modern Pepys Street is home to hotels and offices. The nearest London Underground station is Tower Hill and the nearest Docklands Light Railway station is Tower Gateway. The mainline railway terminus Fenchurch Street is also close by.

The Ship is a pub at 3 Hart Street, Aldgate, London EC3. It is a Grade II listed building, built in 1887.

All Hallows Staining was a Church of England church located at the junction of Mark Lane and Dunster Court in the north-eastern corner of Langbourn ward in the City of London, England, close to Fenchurch Street railway station. All that remains of the church is the tower, built around AD 1320 as part of the second church on the site. Use of the grounds around the church is the subject of the Allhallows Staining Church Act 2010.

The Knollys Rose Ceremony is an annual event led by the Company of Watermen and Lightermen. The ceremony dates to 1381 and is held each year in June. A single red rose is snipped from the garden in Seething Lane, placed on an altar cushion from All Hallows-by-the-Tower and carried in procession west to the Mansion House where it is presented to the Lord Mayor of London.
