The Frederic and Cecilia Cuțescu-Storck Art Museum (Romanian: Muzeul de Artă Frederic Storck și Cecilia Cuțescu-Storck) is a modern art museum located in Bucharest, Romania, dedicated to the artists Frederic Storck and Cecilia Cuţescu-Storck. The museum is located in the house designed by the artists with the help of architect Alexandru Clavel and constructed in 1912–1913. The artists donated their collection to the government which opened the museum in 1951. Currently, the house belongs to the brothers Alvaro and Alexandru Botez, who have agreed to lend it to The Bucharest Municipality Museum in order for the art collection to be preserved.The museum presents works of artists of the Storck family: Karl Storck, Carol Storck, Frederic Storck, and Cecilia Cuţescu-Storck. It also includes medieval is faher objects of Medieval religious sculptures as well as watercolours, coins and medals by Carol Szathmari.

The National School of Political Science and Public Administration (Romanian: Școala Națională de Studii Politice și Administrative din București, SNSPA) is a public university in Bucharest, Romania, founded in 1991. SNSPA is a public institution of higher education and research (University) which was established in 1991 as a postgraduate teaching institution, incorporating in its structure the former Faculty of High Political Studies of the University of Bucharest. In 1995, SNSPA obtained the right to organize undergraduate level training in political science and public administration and communication and public relations. SNSPA is currently a public institution of higher education subordinated to the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation. It is organised into four faculties (Public Administration, Communication and Public Relations, Political Science, Management) and one department (International Relations and European Integration).In September 2012, the University of Sheffield and SNSPA launched a new master programme in Marketing, Advertising and PR, which offers its graduates a double diploma issued by both institutions.In December 2012, the rector of the School, Remus Pricopie, was appointed minister of education of Romania. SNSPA has finished in 2014 the construction of a new building started in February 2009 in the proximity of the Romexpo exhibition complex in Bucharest.

St. Bessarion Church (Romanian: Biserica Sfântul Visarion) is the name given to two Romanian Orthodox churches located at 14 Visarion Street in Bucharest, Romania, close to Piața Romană. They are dedicated to Saint Bessarion II of Larissa.

The Bucharest Observatory is an astronomical observatory located at 21 Lascăr Catargiu Boulevard, Bucharest, Romania. The observatory was built between 1908 and 1910, for Admiral Vasile Urseanu. It was equipped with a 150 mm diameter Zeiss telescope with a focal length of 2.7 meters; the telescope was the third largest in Romania at the time. Ion D. Berindey was the architect. It is Bucharest’s only observatory open to the public.The Urseanu House is listed as a historic monument by Romania's Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs.

The Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romanian: Academia de Studii Economice din București, abbreviated ASE) is a public university in Bucharest, Romania. Founded in 1913 as the Academy of Higher-level Commercial and Industrial Studies (Academia de Înalte Studii Comerciale și Industriale (AISCI)), it has become one of the largest economic higher education institutes in both Romania and South-Eastern Europe. The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies is classified as an advanced research and education university by the Ministry of Education. It is one of the five members of the Universitaria Consortium (the group of elite Romanian universities).

Piața Romană (The Roman Square) is a major traffic intersection in Sector 1, central Bucharest. Two major boulevards intersect in Piața Romană: Lascăr Catargiu Boulevard (which runs northwest towards Piața Victoriei) and Magheru Boulevard (which runs south by southeast towards University Square). The two roads also coincide geographically with the Bucharest Metro Line M2. The square is served by the Piața Romană metro station, on Magheru Boulevard. Dacia Boulevard runs roughly east–west through the square. Between 1997 and 2010, Piața Romană featured a Capitoline Wolf statue, a symbol of Latinity (see also the Capitoline Wolf Statue in Cluj-Napoca). The statue was since relocated to I.C. Brătianu Boulevard. The main building of the Academy of Economic Studies is located to the north of the square.

Quito Square (Piața Quito) is located in the center of Bucharest, near Victory Square, right in the middle of Paris street. At its centre is a sculpture dedicated to Mircea Zorileanu (October 14, 1883 – February 10, 1919), one of the pioneers of aviation in Romania, the second best aviator in Romania. On June 22, 1905, Mircea Zorileanu was promoted to the rank of second lieutenant, being assigned to the 1st Red regiment in Galați. In the summer of 1910, he suffered an injury during horse riding; due to his fractures he was declared unfit for riding. While recovering in the summer of 1910, he became interested in aviation, especially after Louis Blériot's first flight to Romania on October 31, 1909. In the autumn of 1910, with the little money he had, he traveled to France to attend Roger Sommer's Blériot aviation school, at Mourmelon-le-Grand. He attended the school from November 12, 1910 to February 13, 1911, but did not obtain a pilot's license at that time. When he returned to Romania, Zorileanu was asked to demonstrate his skills at Prince George Valentin Bibescu's flight school in Bucharest. on July 15, 1911 he executed before a military commission a flight with a Blériot monoplane, following which he received the second flight license granted in Romania.

Dorobanți is a neighborhood in Sector 1, Bucharest. The neighborhood is dominated by red brick buildings and glass buildings. Main intersections/squares are Perla, Dorobanți Square, Lahovari, Charles de Gaulle and Quito Square. Main streets are Calea Dorobanților, Iancu de Hunedoara Avenue, Lascăr Catargiu Boulevard and a small part of Ștefan cel Mare Boulevard. The district features many embassy buildings, and local cafés are regarded as meeting places of Bucharest's nouveau riche.

Piața Romană (Romanian for "Roman Square") is a metro station in central Bucharest, located in the square with the same name, on the main north–south axis of the city centre. According to Sorin Călinescu, one the three planners of the station, when shown the plans for the Line M2 in 1985, First Lady Elena Ceaușescu reportedly demanded the station's removal. According to some of the people who worked on the station, Ceaușescu was supposedly concerned that workers and students were starting to gain weight and needed more exercise. The engineers realized the station would be necessary, and Sorin Călinescu claimed they have built it in secret. Because of this, the platforms are asymmetrical, very narrow (less than 1.5 m wide) and the waiting area is in a corridor separated by thick walls from the platforms in order to sustain the station's structure in the sandy soil, on which a number of 1920s high-rises are also situated.While subways ran past without stopping for about a year, thousands of residents reportedly wrote to petition for a station, which was opened on 28 November 1988. It was added to the previously opened extension from Piața Unirii to Pipera.

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bucharest (Indonesian: Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di Bukares; Romanian: Ambasada Republicii Indonezia in București) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Indonesia to Romania and is concurrently accredited to the Republic of Moldova. The first Indonesian ambassador to Romania was Soekrisno (1961–1965). The current ambassador, Muhammad Amhar Azeth, was appointed by President Joko Widodo on 20 February 2018.
