Casa Trinxet was a building designed by the Catalan Modernisme architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch (also architect of Casa Amatller) and built during the years 1902–1904, officially considered completed in 1904. It was located at the crossroads of Carrer Balmes and Carrer del Consell de Cent, in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Casa Trinxet was "one of the jewels of Barcelona Modernisme" and one of the buildings of Barcelona's Illa de la Discòrdia ("Block of Discord"), because of competing attitudes among Domènech i Montaner, Puig i Cadafalch and Antoni Gaudí.The building was commissioned by Avelino Trinxet Casas, Mir Trinxet's Uncle, who belonged to the textile industrial family Trinxet, from Barcelona.

The Casa Serra (Serra House) is a building in the Modernisme style in Barcelona, designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch. It is situated at number 126 Rambla de Catalunya, at that street's corner with the Avinguda Diagonal.The building was built as a residence between 1903 and 1908, for Pere Serra, although he never actually lived there. It has subsequently served several purposes, and is now the home of the provincial council of the Province of Barcelona.The section of the building fronting Avinguda Diagonal was demolished in 1981, and replaced by an office building, by Federico Correa and Alfonso Milá, to house the offices of the provincial council (1987). The contrast between the two very different styles was the subject of controversy at the time.

Avinguda Diagonal (Catalan pronunciation: [əβiŋˈɡuðə ði.əɣuˈnal], in Spanish Avenida Diagonal) is the name of one of Barcelona's broadest and most important avenues. It cuts the city in two, diagonally with respect to the grid pattern of the surrounding streets, hence the name. It was originally projected by engineer and urban planner Ildefons Cerdà as one of the city's wide avenues, which along with Avinguda Meridiana would cut the rationalist grid he designed for l'Eixample (Catalan for extension). Both would meet at Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, which Cerdà envisioned as the new city centre. However, Plaça Catalunya, equally a new addition to the city of Barcelona, and connecting Ciutat Vella and Eixample, and therefore occupying a more privileged position in the urban area, would finally become the centre. Avinguda Diagonal remains to this day a much-transited avenue and many companies and hotels use it as a privileged location, as can be seen in its architecture. The avenue starts in the Les Corts district on the western edge of the city and runs to the Sant Martí district on the eastern edge. To its west, it connects with the Lleida-Madrid highway and Ronda de Dalt in the neighbouring municipality of Esplugues de Llobregat. To its east, it meets the Ronda del Litoral on the border with the municipality of Sant Adrià de Besòs. It is consistently 50 metres (160 ft) wide and about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) long.

Casa Bonaventura Ferrer is a building located at number 113 of Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and rear facade at number 6 in the Riera de Sant Miquel. It is a project of the architect Pere Falqués i Urpí following a Modernisme or Art Nouveau style, being erected in 1906. Since 1979 it has been listed as an historical and artistic heritage of Barcelona. The building is best known in the city as "El Palauet" (cute little palace) for its extraordinary beauty and reduced size. In 2010, the building was remodeled and converted into a luxury boutique hotel under the name of "El Palauet".

Headquartered in Barcelona, it currently operates globally through a network of 40 offices all over the world.According to the latest data available, in 2018 Catalonia Trade & Investment attracted 84 foreign investment projects (up 20% over the previous year), which amounted to 322 million euros (+34%) and enabled the creation of 5,455 jobs (+70%) in Catalonia. Thus, in 2018, Catalonia Trade & Investment broke records as regards the number of projects attracted and the number of jobs created by these foreign investments. In fact, foreign investment projects with the support of the Catalan Government increased by 64% over the last five years (2014-2018) compared to the previous five-year period. The Financial Times’ fDi Magazine recognized in 2018 the agency's foreign investment strategy from among 112 candidates from all over the world. The same publication has picked Catalonia as Southern Europe’s best region for foreign investment in 2020-2021, being the third time in a row that this biannual ranking places Catalonia in this position.

Palau Robert (Catalan pronunciation: [pəˈlaw ruˈβɛɾt]) is a building on Barcelona's Passeig de Gràcia 107, the former private residence of Robert Robert i Surís, an influential aristocrat, politician and businessman at the turn of the 20th century. It's now a government-run institution that hosts an exhibition centre with three halls, a concert hall, a public swimming pool and gardens as well as the Information Centre for Catalonia, including the city's tourism bureau. In the 1936–1939 period, it was the site of the Generalitat de Catalunya's Ministry of Culture. After the Spanish Civil War, Robert's family regained the Palau, until its second purchase by the Generalitat de Catalunya (the Catalan government) in 1981, when it became a public building.

Provença is the name of a Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya station located under Avinguda Diagonal and Balmes street. The station is served by FGC-operated Barcelona Metro lines L6 and L7, and Metro del Vallès suburban metro lines S1, S2, S5 and S55. Diagonal is the name of an important station in TMB-operated Barcelona Metro network. It is named after Avinguda Diagonal, where the station is located together with Passeig de Gràcia. It is served by TMB-operated Barcelona Metro lines L3 and L5, and it is also connected with FGC station.

Plaça de Gal·la Placídia is a square split between the districts of Gràcia and Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Its exact location is between Travessera de Gràcia, Carrer de Neptú, Carrer de Milton, Carrer de l'Oreneta and Via Augusta. It was built on the site of one of the city's many streams. The Mercat de la Llibertat, one of the district's 19th century markets, has been provisionally relocated in this square. There's also a Catholic church and a Mahayana Buddhist centre on it. The Col·legi d'Economistes de Catalunya headquarters are currently under construction on the square, and due to open in 2010.

Carrer Gran de Gràcia is the main street of Gràcia, one of the Barcelona districts. Gran de Gràcia is a shopping street that has been the centre of the district's commercial area for a long time already, dating to the time when Gràcia was a separate town (that is, until 1897). It stretches from the West side of Passeig de Gràcia towards Plaça Lesseps.

Gràcia is a railway station located under Plaça de Gal·la Placídia in the Gràcia district of Barcelona. It is served both by lines L6 and L7 of the Barcelona Metro, and by lines S1, S2, S5 and S55 of the Metro del Vallès commuter rail system. All these lines are operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, who also run the station.The station will be part of line 8 L8 in the next future (2023) with the extension of that line from Espanya metro station, and that becomes a junction station for the three FGC Barcelona Metro lines in operation in the city.Gràcia station should not be confused with Passeig de Gràcia station, which is located some 1.7 kilometres (1.1 mi) away on metro lines L2, L3 and L4, and various Rodalies de Catalunya suburban lines.
