Bandar Tasik Puteri

Kundang or Pengkalan Kundang is an area in Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. Kundang is used to be agricultural village. But now, it is one of the modern villages in the state with its own highway, LATAR. Bandar Tasik Puteri, Pekan Kundang, Bandar Rawang is the nearest town from the village. Farming and related activities constitute the core economic drivers of this pastoral village. It comes under Selayang Parliament constituency, and falls into the jurisdiction of Majlis Perbandaran Selayang (MPS).

The Sungai Buloh Prison (Malay: Penjara Sungai Buloh) is a prison complex in Selayang, Selangor, Malaysia. It is the largest prison complex in Malaysia. Started in 1992, completed in October 1996 and opened in November 1996 to replace the Pudu Prison, Kuala Lumpur. The prison also features a 28 mid-rise quarters buildings with 5 floors, with the height of 21.5 m (71 ft), which consists of 560 units. Also features a playground, a surau and halls, also prison complexes. The quarters complex was completed in 1997. The prison just started its renovation on 22 July 2023, and expected to be completed its renovation by the end of 2023.

Tasik Biru Seri Kundang is a recreational lake located at Kampung Melayu Sri Kundang, Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia, a village near to Sungai Buloh. It is an ex-mining lake that used to be developed long time ago during the British colonial time. During its olden days, the lake was used to be the biggest mining area in Rawang district, and one of the biggest in Selangor as well. It is about 25 km to the north from Kuala Lumpur. After the colonial time, Tasik Biru is set to be a water sports and recreation centre for the local and foreign tourists. The area surrounding the lake, encompassing about 32 hectares (80 acres) would be upgraded with a recreation area and a jogging track around the lake.

Puncak Alam is a city in Kuala Selangor district, Malaysia. It is located within 20 kilometers to the northwest from the city of Shah Alam, the capital of the state of Selangor. Previously developed from a palm estate holding of FELDA within the locale of Bukit Cherakah, this township started its initial development during the late 1990s under the management of Bukit Cherakah Development Sdn. Bhd., a private company based in Shah Alam. Puncak Alam Housing Sdn. Bhd. later took over in 2001 as the principal developer of this township. There are 3 phases in the township, Phase 1 in the southern part (Section 1-6 but only Section 2 is existing), Phase 2 in the middle (Seksyen 7-9), Phase 3 in the north (Seksyen 12-13) and the Alam Suria at the northwest, which also known as Shah Alam 2. First launched with an estimated total area of 14,000 acres (57 km2) for the whole township, subsequent development sees the actual land parcel being apportioned and jointly developed with third-party developers, resulting in the emergence of sub-townships within the vicinity under new names and concepts (such as Alam Perdana, Alam Jaya, Sinar Alam, Ambang Suria, Alam Suria, Eco Grandeur, LBS Alam Perdana, Hillpark), whilst the initially earmarked land area for Puncak Alam being significantly reduced in size.

Kuang (Jawi: كواڠ; Chinese: 轟埠) is a town in Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. Its main importance in older times was the starting of the railway branch to Batu Arang from the mainline of Malayan Railways. Today, Kuang's main industry is cement distribution for the CIMA Company. There is a successful HS Nada cow farm at Kampung Gombak. Kuang has one of the largest polo field in Asia. It was an important venue for polo during the Commonwealth Games in 1998. There is also a lake called Tasik Biru (Blue Lake), which is at Seri Kundang. The Malaysia Bible Seminary is also in Kuang. Kuang's calm and peaceful surrounding attracts some non-locals to build their homes and recreation centres here, near Kampung Sungai Serai.

The Kuang Komuter station is a Malaysian commuter train station located in Kuang, Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia. Since December 2015, this station is served by the Port Klang Line of the KTM Komuter service. Previously, it was on the Rawang-Seremban Line.

City of Elmina is a township in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia. Formerly known as Elmina Estate owned by Guthrie Berhad (now Sime Darby), it is later turned into a township which is developed by Sime Darby Properties.

The Gombak District is an administrative district located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. The district was created on February 1, 1974, the same day when Kuala Lumpur was declared a Federal Territory. Until 1997, Rawang was the district capital; the capital has been moved to Bandar Baru Selayang. Gombak borders Kuala Lumpur to the southeast and the Genting Highlands to the east. Both Gombak and Kuala Lumpur, along with some other districts in Selangor, are situated within the Klang Valley. Other localities that are situated in Gombak district include Batu Arang, Kuang, Rawang, Kundang, Gombak Town, Selayang, Batu Caves and Hulu Kelang. The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM/UIAM) main campus is also located here as well as the Batu Caves. Gombak is also home to an aboriginal Orang Asli settlement, and it is the site of the Orang Asli Museum. Gombak River merges with the larger Klang River in Kuala Lumpur. The meeting place of the two rivers is the birthplace of Kuala Lumpur. At the center of the confluence is the Masjid Jamek. Gombak (town) also refers to as a locality (town/area/suburb) in the northern and central portion of the Setapak subdistrict (both in Gombak and Kuala Lumpur). Before 1974, Gombak was a town before it became a district. Gombak was home to the settlements of the first Minangkabau immigrants in the 1800s and was established soon after. Old mosques in the Gombak area such as the Masjid Lama Batu 6 Gombak are still standing to this day. Today, Gombak can be referred to both the town and district itself but the locals usually refers Gombak as the town, not the district.

Sungai Buloh, or Sungei Buloh, is a town, a mukim (commune) and a parliamentary constituency in the northern part of Petaling region, Selangor, Malaysia. The name itself means bamboo river in the Malay language. It is located 16 km NW of downtown Kuala Lumpur and 8 km north of the Subang Airport, along the Kuala Selangor highway. Bordering Damansara, Kepong, Kuang and Kuala Selangor, Sungai Buloh is notable for its colonial-era leper colony, one of the largest in the country.

Bukit Rahman Putra is a township in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia. The township was established in 1994 by Sabna Corporation, a private Bumiputra-owned company, and was named after the first Malaysian prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj. Along with Bukit Rahman Putra as the residential development project, the township also include the Rahman Putra Golf Club, a 36-hole golf course which opened in January 1993, and Putra Industrial Park.

The Rawang railway station is a railway station in Rawang, Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia that is served by the KTM Komuter (of the Port Klang Line since 2015) and the KTM ETS train services. It was the northernmost terminus for passenger services on the Rawang-Seremban Route since the start of the KTM Komuter service until 2015 when the trial route between Rawang and Port Klang began operating to cater to the KTM double track upgrading project. In 2016, the line Rawang-Port Klang Line was merged with the Rawang-Tanjung Malim shuttle service, thus ending Rawang's role as the northern terminus of the line. The station built to cater the traffic around the suburb of Rawang as there were no other commuter or mass transit services in the Klang Valley that stopped here before the arrival of the KTM Komuter.

Paya Jaras is a town in Selangor, Malaysia. The first village head to open the village of Paya Jaras was Baie bin Duawan, of Malay descent from Padang, Indonesia who came to Malaysia around the early 20s. Remembering his sacrifice and service, one road bears his name, Haji Baie Road, located in Kampung Paya Jaras Hulu which consists of four villages: Kampung Paya Jaras Dalam, Kampung Paya Jaras Tengah, Kampung Paya Jaras Hulu and Kampung Paya Jaras Hilir. Paya Jaras has a mix of traditional villages and a new village, as well as a number of residential areas. The middle to upper-class areas are Bukit Rahman Putra, Sierramas and Valencia, while the middle-class areas include Aman Puri and Taman Sri Buloh. The lower-income residents are found in Aman Puri and Matang Jaya.
