Sungai Buloh, or Sungei Buloh, is a town, a mukim (commune) and a parliamentary constituency in the northern part of Petaling region, Selangor, Malaysia. The name itself means bamboo river in the Malay language. It is located 16 km NW of downtown Kuala Lumpur and 8 km north of the Subang Airport, along the Kuala Selangor highway. Bordering Damansara, Kepong, Kuang and Kuala Selangor, Sungai Buloh is notable for its colonial-era leper colony, one of the largest in the country.

The Bright Sparklers Fireworks fire occurred in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia on 7 May 1991. The Bright Sparklers Fireworks Factory in Sungai Buloh, Selangor caught fire and caused a huge explosion. Twenty six people were killed and over a hundred people were injured in the disaster. The explosion was strong enough to rip the roofs of some local houses, and ended up damaging over 200 residential properties.

Bukit Rahman Putra is a township in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia. The township was established in 1994 by Sabna Corporation, a private Bumiputra-owned company, and was named after the first Malaysian prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj. Along with Bukit Rahman Putra as the residential development project, the township also include the Rahman Putra Golf Club, a 36-hole golf course which opened in January 1993, and Putra Industrial Park.

The Kampung Selamat station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station serving the areas of Kampung Selamat and Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia. The station was one of the stations on the MRT Kajang Line and was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One operations of the line.The station name is taken from the nearby Kampung Selamat (English: Safe Village) which lies on the east side of Jalan Sungai Buloh. Although currently a station on the MRT Kajang Line, the station will be one of three which will be transferred to the MRT Putrajaya Line when it begins operations in November 2021.

The Sungai Buloh station is an integrated railway station serving the suburb of Sungai Buloh in Selangor, Malaysia, which is located to the northwest of Kuala Lumpur. It is an interchange station, with one section catering to the KTM Komuter Port Klang Line and KTM ETS services, and another section for the MRT Kajang Line. There is however no paid-area-to-paid-area integration as the two services use different ticketing systems. The newly built integrated station was opened on 16 December 2016 together with the opening of the first phase of the Kajang Line.The station was the northern terminus of the Kajang Line until October 2021. Currently the MRT station is closed, along with Kampung Selamat and Kwasa Damansara stations, pending their transfer to the Putrajaya line, scheduled to begin partial operations in November 2021. The Kajang Line presently terminates at Kwasa Sentral station.

The Sri Raya MRT station (Working name: Taman Cuepacs) is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station serving the suburb of Batu 10 Cheras, Selangor, Malaysia. It serves as one of the stations on Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Kajang Line. The station is located at EXIT 703 Telekom interchange of the Cheras–Kajang Expressway.

The Taman Connaught MRT station is an elevated rapid transit station on the MRT Kajang Line, located in Taman Connaught, Bandar Tun Razak constituency in southeastern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Its exact location is next to the Cheras Sentral shopping mall, which is at Jalan Cheras near the northern end of the Cheras-Kajang Expressway, close to the Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur-Selangor border. The station is also near to the Cheras-Kajang Interchange at the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) which is currently under construction. The elevated expressway will be even higher than the MRT track which is pretty high from the road. It was opened on 17 July 2017, along with 19 adjoining stations (from Muzium Negara to Kajang) as part of Phase 2 of the system. The station was thus provisionally named Phoenix Plaza station during construction. Plaza Phoenix was the former name of the Cheras Sentral Shopping Centre.

The Batu 11 Cheras station (Working name: Balakong station) is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station serving the suburb of Batu 11 Cheras, Balakong and Bandar Sungai Long in Selangor, Malaysia. It serves as one of the stations on Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Sungai Buloh–Kajang Line. The station is located at Balakong interchange of the Cheras–Kajang Expressway.

The Cochrane station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) underground station in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on the MRT Kajang Line. The station was opened on 17 July 2017 as part of the second phase operations of the line.The station is located in the Cheras area of Kuala Lumpur adjacent to Cochrane Road, Peel Road and Shelley Road. It is also well known for being located near two large shopping complexes - MyTown Shopping Centre (housing Malaysia's second IKEA store) and Sunway Velocity Mall, with the former being connected to the station via an underground pedestrian linkway and the latter via an elevated pedestrian bridge. The underground station is located in Cheras along Cochrane Road, Peel Road and Shelley Road. The location is part of an area previously occupied by quarters housing government servants.

The Bandar Tun Hussein Onn MRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, located in Cheras Selatan commune, Hulu Langat region, Selangor, Malaysia. It serves as one of the stations on the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Sungai Buloh–Kajang Line. It was opened on 17 July 2017, together with the Phase 2 opening of the MRT line, along the Muzium Negara-Kajang stretch. The station is located at the Bandar Tun Hussein Onn interchange of the Cheras–Kajang Expressway. This MRT station features a car park with 305 parking bays; TnG payment is accepted. The station lends its name from the housing development of Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, which in turn is named after Malaysia's third prime minister, Tun Hussein Onn (in office 1976-81).

The Bukit Dukung station (working name: Taman Koperasi station and Taman Koperasi Cuepacs station) is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Station serve the suburb of Bukit Dukung, Kampung Sekamat and Sungai Balak in Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia. It serves as one of the stations on Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Sungai Buloh–Kajang Line. The station is located at Sungai Balak interchange of the Cheras–Kajang Expressway and Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway next to Petronas gas station. Bukit Dukung MRT station have covered car park with 360 car park bays and 83 motorcycle bays.

The Taman Mutiara MRT station is an elevated rapid transit station in Cheras in south-eastern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located above the Jalan Cheras, next to the Cheras Leisure Mall as well as EkoCheras Mall. And therefore, the station was thus provisionally named Leisure Mall station during construction. The station is serving the neighbouring residential areas such as Taman Cheras Makmur (Taman Yulek), Taman Desa Aman, Taman Mutiara Barat, Taman Mutiara Timur, Taman Segar, Taman Taynton View and Taman Bukit Hijau. The station is on the MRT Kajang Line and was opened on 17 July 2017, along with 19 stations under Phase 2 operations of the line.
