Saham Toney

The Old Manor is a Grade II listed building, which stands in Pages Lane/Page's Place in the Norfolk village of Saham Toney. The building was owned by Edward Goffe of Threxton, who died in 1612, and who is buried at Saham Toney. He left the building to his son. Edward Goffe founded the local school, where a plaque was erected in his name. There are almshouses, founded by Edward Goffe. The beautiful stained glass window was made in Norwich Cathedral and originally came from St Marys church in Great Cressingham. Restoration of the Old Manor was featured on an episode (Series 2 - Episode 4) of the BBC Two series Restoration Home

Watton United Football Club is an English football club based in Watton, Norfolk. The club are currently members of the Anglian Combination Division One and play at Watton Sports Centre.

Wayland Hall, also known as Watton Town Hall, is a community events venue in Middle Street, Watton, Norfolk, England: the structure, which also accommodates a local history museum, is a grade II listed building.

Loch Neaton is a freshwater lake near Watton in Norfolk, England. It was created after earth was excavated in 1875 to create a mile long embankment for the extension to Swaffham of the Thetford to Watton railway station. Local businessmen saw the potential of creating a leisure park in the area, with a tennis court, bowling green and bandstand. The excavated area was filled with water to create a lake for swimming, boating and fishing. In honor of the railway labourers that created the excavation, who were mainly Scottish, the lake was called a Loch.

Watton is a market town in the district of Breckland in the English county of Norfolk, about 25 miles (40 km) west-southwest of Norwich and 15 miles (24 km) northeast of Thetford. The annual Wayland Agricultural Show in its west is one of the oldest one-day such shows in England.

Threxton All Saints is a round-tower church at Threxton Hill, situated east of the village of Little Cressingham and west of the town of Watton in the English county of Norfolk. The church is medieval with a late 13th-century tower as well as a 14th-century octagonal font, and remnants of medieval stained glass in at least one window. The building is a Grade I listed building and retains some wall decorations which survived the Reformation after being partitioned as part of a mausoleum, and were uncovered during the late 20th century.

Merton is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 5.94 km2 (2.29 sq mi) and had a population of 113 in 50 households at the 2001 census, increasing to a population of 133 in 56 households at the 2011 census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Breckland. The villages name means 'Pool farm/settlement'.Merton Hall is the home of Lord Walsingham. Its church, St Peter's, is one of 124 existing round-tower churches in Norfolk and is a Grade I listed building.

Watton railway station was located in Watton, Norfolk. It was on the Great Eastern Railway line between Swaffham and Thetford, and closed for passengers in 1964 and freight in 1965 as part of the Beeching Axe.

It covers an area of 6.44 km2 (2.49 sq mi) and had a population of 239 in 92 households at the 2001 census, increasing to a population of 256 in 101 households at the 2011 Census. It is in the district of Breckland. Ovington is represented by the Saham Toney ward of Breckland District Council and the Watton Division of Norfolk County Council.

Wayland Wood is a 31.7-hectare (78-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest near to Watton in Norfolk. It is a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade 2, and it is managed by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust
