Soleilmont is a Charleroi Metro station located in Gilly, Belgium (part of the Charleroi municipality), opened on 27 February 2012 as part of the Soleilmont extension of the Gilly branch of the Charleroi Metro. The station, built at ground level, is the terminus of the Gilly branch (line M4) and is an intermodal transport hub served by trams and buses and featuring a 200 spaces car park.The station is located in TEC Charleroi fare zone 2. As the terminus of the Gilly branch of the network, the station features a loop track allowing trams to make a U-turn to start their journey back to Charleroi.

Marabout is a Charleroi Metro station located in Gilly, Belgium (part of the Charleroi municipality), opened on 27 February 2012 as part of the Soleilmont extension of the Gilly branch of the Charleroi Pre-metro. The station is entirely underground and features a central platform with street access at its western end. Decoration inside the station depicts old views of Charleroi. The station is located in TEC Charleroi fare zone 2. The main station structure was built in the 1980s but was never put into service until 27 February 2012.

The Coal mine du Gouffre (No. 10) is the main and last colliery company of Charbonnages du Gouffre. It is located at Châtelet Belgium, Walloon Region in the province of Hainaut. It was operated from 1916 to 1969. The concrete building is built in 1934. After closure, the site was converted into a zoo between 1979 and 1982 before becoming a site vehicle dismantling.

One of the walls is adorned with coat of arms of other Gilly's in Europe, while the opposite wall features the lyrics of La p'tite gayole, a song in Walloon language written by Belgian artist Oscar Sabeau. While trams drive on the right on most of the Charleroi Pre-metro network, they drive on the left on the Gilly line.

Soleilmont Abbey (French: Abbaye Notre-Dame de Soleilmont) is an abbey of Trappistine nuns (O.C.S.O., or Order of Cistercians of the Strict Obervance) situated in the forest and commune of Fleurus, at Gilly near Charleroi, Belgium, founded, according to tradition, in the 11th century, which became Cistercian in 1237. The nuns were expelled as a consequence of the French Revolution in 1796, but soon re-established themselves in 1802. The community became Bernardine in 1837, and Trappist in 1919.

As of January 1, 2018, Châtelet had a total population of 36,101. The total area of the municipality is 27.03 km2 which gives a population density of 1,336 inhabitants per km2. The municipality consists of the following districts: Bouffioulx, Châtelet, and Châtelineau. Châtelet was a long established independent city prior to its fusion with the other entities.

Wangenies (Walloon: Wandjniye) is a village of Wallonia, and a district of the municipality of Fleurus, located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. It was its own municipality prior to the fusion of municipalities of 1977.
