Fenton is a village in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated 14 miles (23 km) south-west from the city and county town of Lincoln, 2 miles (3.2 km) north-east from the village of Claypole and 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south from the A17 road. Fenton Grade I listed Anglican church is dedicated to All Saints. It has a crocketed spire and is mainly of Perpendicular and Decorated style, but retains a Norman north arcade. The chancel was rebuilt in 1838 and restored in 1875.

The parish church of All Saints consists of a chancel, nave and two aisles of the 13th century and a west tower which is 15th century. The altar rails are of the early 17th century.

In the churchyard is a Grade II listed and scheduled churchyard cross which dates from the 14th century, and is believed to stand in its original position. Stapleford Woods are under the care of the Forestry Commission.Stapleford CE School was built in 1867 as a National School. It was closed on 18 July 1984.Samual Keetly was the pioneer of Stapleford Wood, planting the first trees on Stapleford Moor in 1785. His previous employment was at Wollaton Gardens. Before any trees were set, the land was turned with an iron plough, with planting taking him ten years to complete. He was a parishioner of Stapleford for 40 years, having brought his family to live there in 1787.

Royal Air Force Fulbeck or more simply RAF Fulbeck is a former Royal Air Force station located 6.3 miles (10.1 km) east of Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire and 10.9 miles (17.5 km) west of Sleaford, Lincolnshire, England. The airfield is located about 106 miles (171 km) north-northwest of London and was opened in 1940 when it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as troop carrier airfield for airborne units. After the war it was closed in 1948.

The village is situated 8 miles (13 km) north from Grantham and 5 miles (8 km) south-east from Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire. Adjacent villages include Claypole, Dry Doddington, Beckingham and Brandon. The parish church is a Grade II* listed building dedicated to Saint Martin, built in 1799, with a chancel added in 1869.Stubton Hall is a large Grade II listed country house, built in 1813-14 by Sir Jeffry Wyatville for Sir Robert Heron, 2nd Baronet. In 1918 it was purchased by Sir Edmund Royds. After his death in 1946 it was purchased by Lincolnshire County Council, and from 1952 to 2003 it was used as a boarding school, and is now a hotel and wedding venue.

Norton Disney is a small village and civil parish on the western boundary of the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the border with the adjacent county of Nottinghamshire and shares a boundary with Collingham in that county. This county and parish boundary of Collingham and Norton Disney also splits the Potter Hill area which has important Iron Age and Roman archaeology. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 226. It lies midway between Lincoln and Newark, 2 miles (3.2 km) to the south-east of the A46. Norton Disney was one of the seats of the Disney family, an Anglicised version of the original French surname d'Isigny, of Isigny-sur-Mer, Normandy, from whom film producer Walt Disney's family might be descended. The Disney family were also lords of the manor in Swinderby, Carlton-le-Moorland and Kingerby. The Church of England parish church, St Peter's, is a Grade I listed building. The village has one public house, The Green Man, formerly the St Vincent Arms.

It is situated 4 miles (6.4 km) south-east from the market town of Newark-on-Trent, just east of the Grantham to Newark stretch of the A1. The name Claypole is from the Old English 'clæg' and 'pol', for "clayey pool". The village is recorded in the Domesday Book as "Claipol" and as having a church, a priest and one mill.

Carlton-le-Moorland, is a village and civil parish in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England, between Newark-on-Trent and Lincoln. The parish had a population at the 2011 census of 565.

Loveden is a deanery of the Diocese of Lincoln, England, and a former wapentake. Loveden is located broadly to the North of Grantham and includes the villages from Long Bennington in the west to Culverthorpe in the east, and from Welby in the south as far north as Welbourn. Brandon is roughly in the centre. Loveden Hill is locally supposed to be the meeting place for the early Wapentake summons, and is the site of both Roman and extensive Anglo-Saxon archaeology. The name is used for an STD telephone exchange, code 01400.
