Bradaford is a village in Devon, England.

Virginstow is a village and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, England. It is situated about 7 miles north of Launceston in Cornwall. According to the 2001 census, it had a population of 115, however, after the great flood of 2004 all residents are now presumed dead.

St Giles on the Heath, sometimes hyphenated as St Giles-on-the-Heath, is a village and civil parish in the far west of Devon, England. It forms part of the local government district of Torridge. The village is in the east of the parish and lies on the A388 road about eight miles south of the town of Holsworthy. The parish includes the hamlets of Hele, West Panson, East Panson, Sitcott, Box's Shop, Peter's Finger, West Druxton, Poole and Netherbridge. The parish is surrounded clockwise from the north-west by the parishes of Northcott, Luffincott, Ashwater, Virginstow, Broadwoodwidger and Lifton. Its western border follows the River Tamar which forms the county boundary with Cornwall. In 2001 its population was 617, significantly higher than the 258 residents it had in 1901. The village is part of Broadheath electoral ward. At the 2011 census the population was 1,650.

Clawton is a village and civil parish in the far west of Devon, England. It forms part of the local government district of Torridge. The village lies about three miles south of the town of Holsworthy on the A388 road. The parish is surrounded clockwise from the north-west by the parishes of Pyworthy, Holsworthy Hamlets, Ashwater, and Tetcott. Its western border follows the River Tamar which forms the county boundary with Cornwall. In 2001 its population was 326, slightly down from 389 in 1901.The ancient parish church, dedicated to St Leonard, has some Norman features in one of its windows and it has a Norman font. Its tower and the arcades of the north and south aisles date from the 14th century and it has 15th-century arches of Polyphant stone. It was partly restored in 1873.Blagdon a former manor house, is situated nearby. Other notable buildings in the parish are ; Gunnacott, which Pevsner says has unusually rich 17th-century carpentry for north Devon; and Eastcombe, which has a sundial on its front that is dated 1737 and bears an unusual inscription.

Broadwoodwidger is a village and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 548. The village is just to the north of the A30 road, and is about eight miles east of Launceston in Cornwall, and 13 miles west of Okehampton. Roadford Reservoir, which is also called Roadford Lake, is to the north-east of the village, and the River Wolf passes at the bottom of the hillside on which the village stands. Broadwoodwidger has a church on top of the hill, with views to Brentor and surrounding countryside. There is a village green, phone box, bus shelter and post box. The parish had a small primary school three miles north of the village at Ivyhouse Cross, but it has now been closed down. The church is 15th century, with some 13th-century features such as the tower and chancel. There is also a Norman font, and benches with carvings of curious animals. Broadwoodwidger was from 1876 to 1922 in the Diocese of Truro but was then returned to the Diocese of Exeter. Bishop John Grandisson appropriated the church to Frithelstock Priory in 1333. From 1273 the advowson and manor had been held by the Widger family; they were acquired by the priory by the generosity of the Stapeldons. Bishop Fox augmented the vicarage in 1479.The name derives from broad wood of the Wyger family and is first documented as Brod(e)wode Wyger in 1306. The manor here passed from the Vypund family to the Wygers before 1273. It was earlier known simply as Broad wood, for example it appears as Bradewode in the Domesday Book of 1086.

Northcott is a small settlement and civil parish in the far west of Devon, England. It lies about seven miles south of the town of Holsworthy and forms part of the local government district of Torridge. It is bordered on the north by the parish of Luffincott and on the east and south by the parish of St Giles on the Heath. Its western border follows the River Tamar which forms the county boundary with Cornwall. In 2001 its population was 26, down from 60 in 1901. Whilst it is administered as a separate parish in Devon, for ecclesiastical purposes it is linked with the parish of Boyton across the River Tamar in Cornwall, and it has been transferred from one county to the other several times.Boyton Mill is a stone building near the river that dates from the early 12th century and retains its machinery and an overshot waterwheel. In Northcott Wood, south of the mill, is a likely Iron Age defended enclosure that overlooks the river.

Hollacombe is a village and small civil parish in the local government district of Torridge, Devon, England. It lies about 3 miles south east of the town of Holsworthy and is surrounded clockwise from the north by the parishes of Cookbury, Ashwater, and Holsworthy Hamlets. In 2001 its population was 59, compared to 69 in 1901.The parish church, on a hilltop site, is dedicated to Saint Petroc and dates from the 14th century though it was subjected to heavy restoration in the 1880s. Its most notable feature is the saddleback roof to the tower, which is rare in Devon.

St James's Church in Luffincott, Devon, England was built in the 15th century. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is now a redundant church in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. It was declared redundant on 1 May 1975, and was vested in the Trust on 19 December 1979.Some parts of the church are the original mediaeval structure however the tower was rebuilt in 1791 as part of a wider renovation.The interior includes Georgian sash windows and a simple 14th century granite font.

Tetcott is a civil parish, small settlement and former manor (once the home of the Arscotts of Tetcott) in Devon, England. The parish lies about five miles south of the town of Holsworthy and is bordered on the north by the parish of Clawton, on the east by a small part of Ashwater, and on the south by Luffincott. It forms part of the local government district of Torridge, and its western boundary is the River Tamar which forms the Cornish border. In 2001 its population was 110, half that of a century earlier (220 in 1901).The settlement of Tetcott itself consists almost solely of the manor house and parish church of Holy Cross, but there are other hamlets in the parish, the largest of which is Lana about half a mile to the south-east.

Dunsland Cross was a railway station on the Bude Branch that closed in 1966. Dunsland Cross station in the parish of Holsworthy was 6 miles East of the village, now town of Holsworthy. The station was opened in 1879 by the London and South Western Railway (LSWR) when Holsworthy station was the terminus of the line, some years before the route to serve the coastal town of Bude was finally opened in 1898. The station had been proposed for closure in the Beeching Report. The station served the remote rural communities around Dunsland Cross.
