Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) (established 8 March 1967), formerly Haryana State Industrial Development Corporation (HSIDC), headquartered at Panchkula, is a 100% state-owned agency of the government of Haryana in the Indian state of Haryana. Panchkula district was formed as the 17th district of the Indian state of Haryana on 15 August 1995. It comprises two sub divisions and two tehsils: Panchkula and Kalka. It has 264 villages out of which twelve are un-inhabited and ten wholly merged with towns or treated as census towns according to the 1991 census. There are five towns in the district: Barwala, Kalka, Panchkula, Pinjore and Raipur Rani. The total population of the district is 319,398 out of which 173,557 are males and 145,841 are females. As of the 2011 Census of India, it was the least populous district of Haryana.Panchkula city is the headquarters of this district. Chandimandir Cantonment is located in this district, adjoining the Panchkula Urban Estate.

Panchkula Assembly constituency is one of the 90 assembly seats of Haryana in the Panchkula district of Haryana, India. It is under Ambala (Lok Sabha constituency). It forms a part of a continuous area with the Union Territory of Chandigarh and the city of Mohali.

Tau Devi Lal Stadium is a multi-sport complex in located in Sector 3, Panchkula, a satellite town in the outskirts of Chandigarh. The stadium is capable of holding around 7000 spectators and came into picture because of the Indian Cricket League's inaugural Twenty20 tournament. The stadium has been leased by Government of Haryana and has got facilities to hold day-night matches. The outfield is rough and patchy and the pitch is an untested one. The stadium has practice facilities including four batting nets behind the ground all containing concrete pitches to bat on. The ground is yet to host first-class matches. but was one of three venues that was used by Indian Cricket League along with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad and Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad.

Manimajra State was a Sikh kingdom and later jagir (estate) based in the Manimajra area from 1764 to 1875. The area is in the present-day region of Chandigarh. The state had poor relations with Patiala and Nahan states, often warring with them.

Manimajra Fort, is a fort situated in Mani Majra, Chandigarh (city of Indian Union). It is over 360 years old and has become more popular with the shooting of the Oscar-winning movie Zero Dark Thirty. It was built by Gharib Dass Dhillon of Dhillon clan as the capital of his newly created state of 84 villages.

Sri Khooni Sahib is a gurudwara in Manimajra, a small town in Chandigarh, India. The gurdwara is located about one kilometer from the famous Mata Mansa Devi Temple, a Hindu temple. It is located in Manimajra village Bhansa Tibba.

Mani Majra, also spelled as Manimajra now renamed as Sector 13, is a historical town in Chandigarh in India. It is a Puadhi Dialect area which was established by the Gharib Dass Dhillon as the capital of the newly created princely state of Dhillon clan.The notifications regarding the renaming of this town were issued by the Punjab Governor and Chief Administrator of Chandigarh, VP Singh Badnore under the Punjab Reorganization Order 1966 under the Sub-section (2) of Sector-1 of the Capital of Punjab (Development and Regulations) Act 1952.It is mainly a residential hub having various societies such as Mari Wala Town (M.W.T.), Pipliwala Town (P.W.T.), Shanti Nagar, Subhash Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Kishangarh, Bhagwanpura, New Indira Colony, Old Indira Colony, Dharshani Bhag, Samadhi Gate, Mohalla Jattan Wala, Mohalla Main Bazar, Govindpura, Mori gate, Nagla Mohalla, Shivalik Enclave, Modern Housing Complex (M.H.C.), Duplex, Rajeev Vihar and Uppal's Marble Arch, Railway Colony, Mouli Jagra, Mouli Pind, Vikas Nagar, Daria, Railway Station, and Asia's no. 1 Motor Market is Situated in Manimajra. Two multiplexes, Fun Republic and DT mall are also situated nearby for shopping and Cinema. Sports complex, GOVT Dispensary, Shivalik Park, RIMT World School, DC Montessori school, Gurukul Global School, Lohia International School, and 4 GOVT schools are also available in Manimajra. The Rajiv Gandhi IT Park of Chandigarh is also planned in Manimajra. Various corporations — such as, Airtel, Infosys, Tech Mahindra — have built their campuses here. A 5-star hotel 'The Lalit' is also there at IT Park Industrial Area with a petrol pump before the hotel. The town also is home to an old fort that is undergoing restoration as a part of an Archeological Survey of India's restoration project. Parts of the Hollywood film Zero Dark Thirty were shot in Mani Majra.

Nada Sahib is a Sikh gurudwara in the Panchkula district of the Indian state of Haryana. Situated on the banks of the Ghaggar-Hakra River in the Sivalik Hills of Panchkula, it is the site where Guru Gobind Singh Ji halted while travelling from Paonta Sahib to Anandpur Sahib after the Battle of Bhangani in 1688.
