Metaltown Festival

Jubileumsparken is located in the Tingstadsvassen district of Gothenburg. The park cost 347 million SEK and is part of Gothenburg urban redevelopment plan named "Älvstaden". It was initially scheduled to open during Gothenburg's 400th anniversary in 2021, but parts of the park were delayed to 2023. The park will continue to expand until around year 2035 to finally reach around 8-10 hectares. Jubileumsparken was designed by "Marel landscape architects" and "Atelier Le Balto".

The Göteborg City Race was a temporary motor racing circuit in Gothenburg, Sweden. The circuit was located in the city centre on part of docklands called Frihamnspiren, which was usually used as a concert venue. The spectator capacity for the venue was 30,000. The venue for the race weekends was known as "Eco Drive Arena", with all cars running on environmentally classed fuel.

SS Marieholm was a private passenger ship that served in the Swedish Navy and was built by Odense Staalskibsværft. She now serves as a restaurant ship since 1984.

HSwMS Småland (J19) is a Swedish Halland-class destroyer. She and HSwMS Halland were the only ones built of their class. Two more ships were ordered but they were never completed. She was decommissioned in 1979, and since 1987 has been a museum ship at Maritiman in Gothenburg, where she is the largest vessel on display.

HSwMS Nordkaparen (Nor), was the fifth boat of the Draken-class submarine of the Swedish Navy.

Maritiman is a floating maritime museum on the Göta Älv, in Gothenburg, Sweden. The museum's collection comprises 19 vessels, the oldest being HSwMS Sölve from 1875.

The Gothenburg discothèque fire was a fire caused by an arson attack on 29 October 1998, which occurred on premises located on Hisingen island in Gothenburg, Sweden. These had been rented for the night by an organization catering to the Macedonian community in Gothenburg for the purpose of hosting a discothèque. 375 people aged 12–25 were present at the time of the fire, the vast majority of whom had various ethnic minority backgrounds. The fire department had estimated the building could only hold up to 150. In all 63 were killed and 213 injured.

HSwMS Sölve is one of seven Hildur-class monitors built for the Swedish Navy in the mid-1870s. The ship had an uneventful career and was sold in 1919 for conversion into a barge. She became a museum ship in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1992.

The Gothenburg opera house (Swedish: Göteborgsoperan) is an opera house at Lilla Bommen in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Artistic Director for opera is Henning Ruhe since 2019, while Katrín Hall leads the ballet and dance company.

Viking (also known by the ship type as a prefix, Barken Viking) is a four-masted steel barque, built in 1906 by Burmeister & Wain in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is reported to be the biggest sailing ship ever built in Scandinavia. In the 21st century her sailing days have drawn to a close, and is now moored as botel in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Lightship No. 29 FLADEN is a former lightvessel which is now a museum ship moored at the Maritiman maritime museum on Göta Älv in Gothenburg, Sweden.Fladen was built in 1929 at Bergsunds Mekaniska Verkstad in Stockholm. She was employed at Hävringe in the Oxelösund archipelago and at Öland reef before receiving her last assignment on the Halland coast between 1966 and 1969. She was replaced in 1969 by an anchored buoy.

Götaälvbron (Göta älv Bridge) was a bascule bridge in central Gothenburg, Sweden, carrying normal road vehicles and trams. The bridge was constructed in 1937 to 1939 and in 1966 it was widened. It was closed for decommissioning in June 2021. Constructed of steel beam, the bridge had a total length of 927 m (3,041 ft) and width of 20 m (66 ft). The mid span had a free height of 19.5 m (64 ft).
