SNG College Chelannur

Sree Narayana Guru College (SNGC), is a college in the city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It is affiliated to Bharathiar University and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). The college was established in 2001 by Sree Narayana Guru Education Trust.

Coimbatore Elephant Reserve is a protected area located in Coimbatore, Tiruppur and Erode districts of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The reserve covers an area of 566 km2 (219 sq mi) and was notified in 2003 as a part of Project Elephant.

JCT College of Engineering and Technology (AUTONOMOUS) located in Pichanur Village, Madhukarai (via) Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu in India, was established with the objective of providing education to all especially the down trodden and rural population. The Shri Jagannath Educational Health and Charitable Trust started the college. It opened for the academic year of 2009-2010. Dharmalinga Malai is a Shiva temple on top of a hill near Coimbatore, in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Lord Dharmalingeswaraswamy, the temple deity, is a Swayambumurthi (self-manifested). The temple is located 13 km south of Coimbatore city. The temple is situated in Marappalam, Madukkarai in Coimbatore District. There are nearly 800 steps to reach the top of the temple.

Walayar Dam is a dam in Palakkad district of Kerala, India. This dam is constructed across the Walayar River, which is a tributary of Kalpathipuzha River. It was completed and opened in 1964. It is one of the major sources of irrigation in the region. Most of the water in this river is passed to the inner places of Walayar. The dam holds a larger reservoir area, and the persons living near the reservoir area utilizes the water from the walayar dam as their main water source for irrigation. Currently the water held inside the reservoir is less due to lesser rain at Walayar. The reservoir area is very scenic and has better scope for tourism.

Madukkarai railway station is a train station in Madukkarai, situated west of Coimbatore, at the extreme western part of the state of Tamil Nadu. The station is a part of the Southern Railway zone and is one of the stations in the Palakkad railway division. It is located on Palathurai Road, 17 km away from the Coimbatore Airport

Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT) is one of autonomous engineering colleges in Pachapalayam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 2002 by Sevaratna Dr.R.Venkatesalu. It belongs to the SNR and sons trust founded by Sevaratna Dr.R.Venkatesalu. It is affiliated to Anna University and AICTE. It offers six undergraduate and five postgraduate courses. The college became autonomous in 2017 and all courses were accredited by the NAAC and given "A" grade.
