Perur Pateeswarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Perur, in western part of Coimbatore in state of Tamil Nadu in India. The temple was built by Karikala chola in 2nd century CE. The temple is located on the bank of the Noyyal River and has been patronized by poets like Arunagirinathar and Kachiappa Munivar. Lord Shiva, known as ‘Patteeswarar’, is the presiding deity of this temple together with his consort Parvati, who is known as ‘Pachainayaki’. The deity is believed to be ‘Swayambu Lingam’ (self-emerged). Various names for this temple have been used over the years, including, Kamadenupuri, pattipuri, Adhipuri, Daksha Kailasham, Thavasiddhapuram, Gnanapuram, Kalyanapuram, Pirava Neri Thalam, Pasupathipuram, and Melai Chidambaram.

The Theneeswarar Temple (Tamil: அருள்மிகு தேனீஸ்வரர் திருக்கோயில்) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva located in Vellalore, near Coimbatore city in Coimbatore District, western part of Tamil Nadu in state of southeastern India. Dharmalinga Malai is a Shiva temple on top of a hill near Coimbatore, in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Lord Dharmalingeswaraswamy, the temple deity, is a Swayambumurthi (self-manifested). The temple is located 13 km south of Coimbatore city. The temple is situated in Marappalam, Madukkarai in Coimbatore District. There are nearly 800 steps to reach the top of the temple.
