Estadio Wilfrido Massieu is an outdoor stadium located north of Mexico City, within the "Adolfo Lopez Mateos" campus of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN). It was built in 1959 and has a capacity of 15,000 spectators. The stadium is the home field of the IPN's college football teams: the Águilas Blancas and Burros Blancos .The stadium was primarily used for American football until 2000, when it was vetoed from American football events by damages in its structure. However, in 2015 it was announced that the stadium will again host American football matches.Currently, the stadium is also used by the Mayas of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional.

Planetario Luis Enrique Erro is a planetarium located in Mexico City, owned and operated by the National Polytechnic Institute. It was the first planetarium in Mexico open to the public and is one of the oldest in Latin America. It was opened in 1967 and operated for over 39 years with a planetarium projector model Mark 4. It was reopened to the public on 15 January 2007 after renovation and modernization costing about 43 million pesos. Its innovations include a stellar dome and new digital projection systems Digistar 3 provided by E&S through Ecosistemas de México, audio, acoustics and lighting.

The High School of Computer Sciences (in Spanish: Escuela Superior de Cómputo or ESCOM) is a High school of the National Polytechnic Institute located in Mexico City, Mexico. Its students pursue the bachelor's degree in computer engineering with one major: computer systems. The curriculum is designed to last for five years. The school has a faculty mostly with postgraduate studies, and there is a growing number of teachers with doctoral studies.

Politécnico (Spanish pronunciation ; Spanish for "Polytechnic") is a Mexico City Metro station in Gustavo A. Madero, Mexico City. It is an at-grade station with two side platforms that serves as the northern terminus of Line 5 (the Yellow line). It is followed by Instituto del Petróleo station. Politécnico station serves the colonias (neighborhoods) of Industrial Vallejo and Nueva Industrial Vallejo. The station's pictogram features the logo of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), a public university in Mexico City, and its name is on account of its proximity to the main campus. Politécnico station was opened on 30 August 1982, on the first day of the Politécnico–Pantitlán service. The station is partially accessible and there is also a mural inside titled La técnica al servicio de la patria by José Luis Elías Jáuregui. In 2019, the station had an average daily ridership of 34,586 passengers, making it the 28th busiest station in the network and the second busiest of the line, after Pantitlán.

Instituto del Petróleo (Spanish pronunciation ; Spanish transl. "Petroleum Institute") is a Mexico City Metro transfer station in Gustavo A. Madero, Mexico City. It is a combined underground and at-grade station with two side platforms each, along Lines 5 (the Yellow Line) and 6 (the Red Line). Instituto del Petróleo is located between Politécnico and Autobuses del Norte stations on Line 5, and between Vallejo and Lindavista stations on Line 6. It serves the colonias (neighborhoods) of Valle del Tepeyac, San Bartolo Atepehuacan, and Nueva Industrial. The station's pictogram depicts an oil derrick, and its name is on account of its proximity to the Mexican Petroleum Institute headquarters. Instituto del Petróleo station opened on 30 August 1982 with service on Line 5 northward toward Politécnico. West service on Line 6 toward El Rosario started on 21 December 1983. In the station, there is a collection of sculptures titled Petróleo, made of oil drums and created by Mexican artist Ernesto Paulsen Camba. In 2019, the station had an overall average daily ridership of 9,309 passengers.

The Mexican Petroleum Institute (in Spanish: Instituto Mexicano del Petróleo, IMP) is a public research organization dedicated to develop technical solutions, conduct basic and applied research and provide specialized training to Pemex, the state-owned government-granted monopoly in Mexico's petroleum industry.The Institute was founded on 23 August 1965 by federal decree and is based in Mexico City. Despite facing significant budget constraints in recent years and being accused of depending excessively on foreign technology by noted physicist Leopoldo García-Colín, it was the leading patent applicant among Mexican institutions in 2005 and houses one of the most advanced microscopes on the planet.

The Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (in Spanish: Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional or simply as CINVESTAV-IPN) is a Mexican non-governmental scientific research institution affiliated with the National Polytechnic Institute and founded by president Adolfo López Mateos on 17 April 1961, initially planned as a postgraduate department of the National Polytechnic Institute; this was later modified by President José López Portillo, on 17 September 1982.The modification by President Portillo stipulates that it is a decentralized organ of public interest, with legal personality and own patrimony. Cinvestav receives an annual subsidy by the Federal Government to fund its operations.

Lindavista is a metro station along Line 6 of the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Gustavo A. Madero borough. In 2019, the station had an average ridership of 17,878 passengers per day.

The Interdisciplinary Professional Unit in Engineering and Advanced Technologies (in Spanish: Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria en Ingeniería y Tecnologías Avanzadas or UPIITA) is one of the schools of the National Polytechnic Institute, located in Mexico City, Mexico. It offers undergraduate studies in Bionics, Telematics, Mechatronics, and Energy engineering, as well as postgraduate programs in Advanced Technology. UPIITA is currently one of the most demanded engineering schools in Mexico. Thousands of students apply each year through an admission test, but only a few hundred (around 300) are accepted. It stands as one of the best and most demanding engineering schools in the country, where many teachers work in scientific research.Originally, UPIITA was meant to hold a larger number of students, but since the 75% of students quit before the 3rd semester, most classrooms were turned into technology labs.

Vallejo (Spanish: Estación Vallejo) is a station along Line 6 of the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Colonia Vallejo neighborhood of the Azcapotzalco borough of northwestern Mexico City.Its logo represents a silhouette of a factory. The station opened on 21 December 1983.
