Betzdorf (Luxembourgish: Betzder [ˈbætsdɐ] ) is a commune and town in the canton of Grevenmacher, in eastern Luxembourg. As of 2017, the town of Betzdorf, which lies in the north-east of the commune, has a population of 254 inhabitants. Other settlements within the commune include the commune's administrative centre, Berg, as well as Mensdorf, Olingen, and Roodt-sur-Syre.Betzdorf Castle is the headquarters of SES, the world's largest satellite operator in terms of revenue and one of the four largest components of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange's main LuxX Index.

Betzdorf railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Betzder, French: Gare de Betzdorf, German: Bahnhof Betzdorf) is a railway station serving Betzdorf, in eastern Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 30, which connects Luxembourg City to the east of the country and Trier.

Widdebierg is a hill in the commune of Betzdorf, in eastern Luxembourg. At 386 metres, it is one of the highest points in the canton of Grevenmacher. It is in the centre of a nature reserve (named Widdebierg after the hill), which lies between the towns of Flaxweiler, Mensdorf, and Roodt-sur-Syre.

SES Astra SA was a corporate subsidiary of SES, based in Betzdorf, in eastern Luxembourg, that maintained and operated the Astra series of geostationary communication satellites between 2001 and 2011. Formed in 1985 as Société Européenne des Satellites (SES), it was Europe's first private satellite operator. In November 2001, upon the purchase of GE Americom from General Electric (renamed to SES Americom), SES Global was formed as the parent company to SES Americom and SES Astra. SES Astra was formed at that time as a subsidiary company to contain all of SES's existing European based satellite operations. In September 2011, SES Astra and sister subsidiary SES World Skies (formed from SES Americom and SES New Skies) were merged back into SES S.A. to streamline operations under a single management system. Subsidiaries of SES Astra, such as HD Plus and ASTRA Broadband Services became direct subsidiaries of SES. Olingen (Luxembourgish: Ouljen) is a small town in the commune of Betzdorf, in eastern Luxembourg. As of 2001, the town has a population of 380. The comune of Betzdorf is one of the richest in Luxembourg and has many expensive and stylish properties.

Beyren (Luxembourgish: Beyeren) is a small town in the commune of Flaxweiler, in south-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2001, the town has a population of 292.

Roodt-sur-Syre or Roodt-sur-Syr (Luxembourgish: Rued-Sir, German: Roodt/Syre) is a town in the commune of Betzdorf, in eastern Luxembourg, and about 15 km from Luxembourg City. As of 2017, the town has a population of 1,950 inhabitants.The town is the location of the Yemeni consulate in Luxembourg. Panelux, a large bread making company, has production facilities on the outskirts of the town.

Mensdorf (Luxembourgish: Menster) is a small town in the commune of Betzdorf, in eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 765.
