Hagelsdorf

Wecker is a small town in the commune of Biwer, in eastern Luxembourg. It is located on banks of Syr River. As of 2022, the town had a population of 749. The largest employer is the tool factory Proxxon S.A.

As of 2001, the town of Flaxweiler, which lies in the north-west of the commune, has a population of 338. Other towns within the commune include Beyren, Gostingen, Niederdonven, and Oberdonven. The Mayor of Flaxweiler is the chief executive of the administration of the Luxembourgish commune of Flaxweiler. The incumbent mayor is Théo Weirich.

SES Astra SA was a corporate subsidiary of SES, based in Betzdorf, in eastern Luxembourg, that maintained and operated the Astra series of geostationary communication satellites between 2001 and 2011. Formed in 1985 as Société Européenne des Satellites (SES), it was Europe's first private satellite operator. In November 2001, upon the purchase of GE Americom from General Electric (renamed to SES Americom), SES Global was formed as the parent company to SES Americom and SES Astra. SES Astra was formed at that time as a subsidiary company to contain all of SES's existing European based satellite operations. In September 2011, SES Astra and sister subsidiary SES World Skies (formed from SES Americom and SES New Skies) were merged back into SES S.A. to streamline operations under a single management system. Subsidiaries of SES Astra, such as HD Plus and ASTRA Broadband Services became direct subsidiaries of SES. Oberdonven (Luxembourgish: Uewerdonwen) is a village in the commune of Flaxweiler, in north-eastern Luxembourg and belongs to the region called "Éislek". As of 2001, the village had a population of 155.

Olingen (Luxembourgish: Ouljen) is a small town in the commune of Betzdorf, in eastern Luxembourg. As of 2001, the town has a population of 380. The comune of Betzdorf is one of the richest in Luxembourg and has many expensive and stylish properties.

The District of Grevenmacher (1843 – 3 Oct 2015) was one of three districts of Luxembourg. It had a per capita income of $57,800. After the reorganization of Luxembourg's administrative divisions in 2015, all three districts were abolished per 3 October 2015.

Berbourg (Luxembourgish: Berbuerg, German: Berburg) is a small town in the commune of Manternach, in eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 627. The journey time between Luxembourg and Berbourg is around 1h 11m and covers a distance of around 32 km.
