BWI Airport station is a Baltimore Light RailLink station at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport in Maryland. It is one of the two southern terminals of the Baltimore Light Rail. The station platforms are just outside an entrance to the International Concourse on the lower level. The station opened in 1997, with trains then serving the station every 34 minutes and operating to Penn Station. The system's routes and schedules have varied over the years; as of 2010, trains depart for Hunt Valley every twenty minutes during peak commuter hours and every half-hour at other times. The station and the airport are served by Maryland Transit Administration's bus routes 75 and 201; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Other local transit agencies also have buses serving the airport, including Howard Transit's Silver Route.

BWI Business District station is a Baltimore Light Rail station in the BWI Business District, north of the Baltimore-Washington International Airport in Linthicum, Maryland. There are currently 36 free public parking spaces and connections can be made to MTA Maryland's Route 17 and 99 buses, and Howard Transit's Silver Route from this station. Additionally, portions of the BWI Trail can be found across the street from the parking lot.

The BWI Business District is a neighborhood and business district in Linthicum and Hanover that features over 11,000 hotel rooms and numerous office parks and shopping centers. As the name suggests, the business district is benefited by nearby Baltimore/Washington International Airport. The district comprises two distinct areas: West Nursery to the north of Interstate 195 and Stoney Run to the south. The West Nursery District includes the original Hotel District, the Friendship Annex of the National Security Agency, the Maryland Aviation Administration, and the National Electronics Museum. The Stoney Run District includes the BWI Amtrak/MARC Rail Station, the BWI Rental Car Return Center, and the headquarters of the Maryland Department of Transportation.

The Benson–Hammond House is a historic house located on Poplar Avenue in Linthicum Heights, Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

The National Electronics Museum, located in Linthicum, Maryland, displays the history of the United States defense electronics. The museum houses exhibits containing assortments of telegraphs, radios, radars and satellites. Located near the Baltimore/Washington International Airport and rail station, the museum displays hands-on electronics. The library serves as a research center open to the public. In addition, an amateur radio station is broadcast live from the museum each week. K3NEM/W3GR includes both antique and updated communication equipment.

Also called the "Day of Playful Invention", Robot fest "is an annual event for anyone interested in the creative use of technology" to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). It takes place at the National Electronics Museum in Linthicum, Maryland and entry is donation based.This year's Robot Fest will occur in April 2021 and include exhibitors such as The Art Institute of Washington, MakerBot Industries and Lego. 2020 saw no event.

Linthicum is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. The population was 10,324 at the 2010 census. It is located directly north of Baltimore–Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Designated as "Linthicum Heights" and zip code 21090 by the U.S. Postal Service, Linthicum has been traditionally divided into two distinct communities each with its own community association and identity. These two communities, split by the Baltimore Beltway in 1957, are Linthicum and North Linthicum (or, alternatively, Linthicum-Shipley and North Linthicum.) Both communities developed as a result of their locations adjacent to the Baltimore and Annapolis Short Line railroad which brought commuters to the original truck farming community. As a developed community, Linthicum began with the 1908 founding of the "Linthicum Heights Company", though a "Linthicum" or "Linthicum's" station on the 1887 Annapolis and Baltimore Short Line railroad existed at least as early as 1889. The community's name was from the area's primary land-owning family since an 1801 purchase by Abner Linthicum.The Linthicum Heights Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Linthicum station is a Baltimore Light Rail station in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. This station is the last station on the light rail's trunk line; southbound trains depart onto branches to BWI Marshall Airport station and Cromwell station. There is currently no free public parking or bus connections at this station.Linthicum station uses a railroad line formerly served by the Baltimore and Annapolis Railroad. It is accessible from a long crosswalk across from the intersection of Camp Meade Road (MD 170) and Benton Avenue, and the Linthicum Volunteer Fire Company (Station #32). Another crosswalk to the station leads to Oakdale Road on the opposite side of the tracks. The station reopened again in 1993, and the spur to Marshall Airport was created in 1997. Ridership at the station averages 372 people daily, 67% of whom are transfers to either BWI Airport or Cromwell station. Only 33% of riders are "walk-ups" from the surrounding neighborhood, according to a 2011-2012 study funded by the MTA.There is an effort to close this station due to the crime the station is alleged to bring to its community, including an attempted murder. While MTA has not considered closing the station, other actions have been taken or considered. These include the placement of a call box where riders can alert police when in need, additional security cameras, and the early closing of the station at 8 pm. Early attempts to have this stop closed date back to 1994.

Ferndale station is a Baltimore Light Rail station in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Northbound trains depart for Timonium, continuing on at off-peak hours to Hunt Valley; southbound trains depart for Glen Burnie. There is currently no free public parking or bus connections at this station.Ferndale is located on 10 Broadview Boulevard across from Ferndale Road. An extension of Ferndale Road crosses the tracks from Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard (MD 648), but only runs one way westbound. A local firehouse is also located near the station, and has a private access road to Route 648 that crosses the tracks. The station itself is the least used station in all of the Baltimore Light Rail network with 93 exits/entries in 2017.

Turkey Hill is a historic home at Linthicum Heights, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. It was built about 1822 by William Linthicum. Originally the house consisted of a 1+1⁄2-story frame section and a three-story field stone section linked together by an open porch. As the family increased in size, Linthicum added another story to the frame portion, making it two and a half stories high. Also on the property is a birdhouse, modeled after Camden Station in Baltimore City; a late-19th-century carriage house; a late-19th-century meathouse; and an early-20th-century garage also stand on the property.Turkey Hill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Friendship Annex, also known as FANX or FANEX, is a National Security Agency (NSA) facility complex located in Linthicum, Maryland, near the Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI). Established in the 1970s, the complex consists of multiple buildings and serves multiple roles as a cyber espionage station, electronic intelligence processing facility, and NSA Broadcast Network television studio. It is also the primary campus of the National Cryptologic School.
