The Inline Skating Club of America is a skating facility located in North Arlington, New Jersey. It is the home of the New Jersey Grizzlies of the Professional Inline Hockey Association Pro Division (PIHA Pro) and the Wallington Grizzlies of the Professional Inline Hockey Association Minor League (PIHAML).

North Arlington is a borough in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 16,457, an increase of 1,065 (+6.9%) from the 2010 census count of 15,392, which in turn reflected an increase of 211 (+1.4%) from the 15,181 counted in the 2000 census.As the site of Holy Cross Cemetery, which has interred almost 290,000 individuals since its establishment in 1915, and with another Jewish cemetery including several thousand more burials, North Arlington has almost 20 times more dead people than living, with more burials than the living population of Newark, the state's largest city. Holy Cross has an average of 2,600 interments each year, of which about 65% are burials, with the remainder split between entombment in mausoleums or crypts and burial of cremated remains. Expansion of the mausoleum will bring its capacity to nearly 36,000 interments, with the cemetery's total capacity of about 750,000 expected to last past the year 2090. The cemetery covers 208 acres (84 ha) and was assessed at $185 million, though its non-profit status means that the municipality generates no tax revenue from a property that covers almost an eighth of the borough's land area.North Arlington was ranked eighth by Money magazine on its list of "Best Places to Live 2017", which cited the borough's healthy economy, affordable homes and a high quality of life.

Arlington Memorial Park is a cemetery located mostly within the Arlington section of Kearny in Hudson County, New Jersey, on Schuyler Avenue.Prior to its creation the ground was owned by Julius Pratt, who later negotiated the development of the "attractive and picturesque" cemetery.The large cemetery contains thousands of graves, many of early settlers of Hudson County, including some remains relocated from the graveyard at Old Bergen Church, and from the many Scots immigrants to Kearny. There are also over 500 American Civil War veteran gravesites, including those of Drummer Boy Willie McGee and Medal of Honor recipient James McIntosh. The town was once site the Home for Disabled Soldiers, an old soldiers' home closed in 1932.The company also owned a plot in North Arlington, across Belleville Turnpike from its main grounds. It was approved by the State of New Jersey for cemetery expansion, but Arlington Service Association decided not to use it. Instead, a Jewish benevolent association previously affiliated with Arlington bought it and created a new cemetery, North Arlington Jewish Cemetery.

Queen of Peace High School was a Roman Catholic, coeducational parochial high school, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades, located in North Arlington in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, co-sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph and the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The school closed in June 2017, after 86 years of operation, in the wake of declining enrollment and financial challenges. The school had been honored two times by the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program, the highest award an American school can receive. It was overseen by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1969.As of the 2013–14 school year, the school had an enrollment of 356 students and 26.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.7:1. The school's enrollment was 49.2% White, 18.3% Asian, 17.7% Hispanic, 6.2% Black, 3.9% Native Hawaiian / Pacific Islander and 4.8% two or more races.

Arlington is a neighborhood in Kearny in the western part of Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. Kearny Riverbank Park runs along the neighborhood's Passaic River shore. Arlington Memorial Park cemetery is located on Schuyler Avenue.The community was the location of a railroad station on New Jersey Transit, just east of the WR Draw over the river, which was discontinued with the opening of the Montclair Connection and Secaucus Junction. The Bergen County town of North Arlington takes its name in relation to this community, which it borders.

Pizza Land (spelled Pizzaland on its front sign and in press accounts, and as two words on a separate sign) is an American pizzeria at 260 Belleville Turnpike in North Arlington, New Jersey, which was featured in the opening credits of The Sopranos. Additionally, in Law & Order episode 10.6, "Marathon" (1999), a pizza box from the restaurant was used by a suspect to transport and conceal firearms. The pizzeria was opened in 1965 by Italian immigrant Fred Di Piazza,who passed it on to his adopted son, Tony Di Piazza. Around 2005, Al Pawlowicz purchased the restaurant. Following Pawlowicz’s death in 2010, the shop was closed for a year before being purchased by Eddie Twdroos.

North Arlington High School is a public high school in North Arlington, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. It is the lone secondary school of the North Arlington School District. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 570 students and 51.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.1:1. There were 104 students (18.2% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 25 (4.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

The North Arlington School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from North Arlington in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, comprising six schools, had an enrollment of 1,915 students and 144.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.2:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.In the 1970s and 1980s, declining enrollment led North Arlington to be one of the few school districts in the state that featured involuntary "combined classes" whereby classes at their Roosevelt School for grades 4 and 5 and for grades 6 and 7 were combined into a single classroom with a single teacher for each pair of grades.

Holy Cross Cemetery is a Catholic cemetery located in North Arlington, New Jersey, United States. Since its establishment in 1915, it has interred over 289,000 individuals. The cemetery operates under the supervision of the Archdiocese of Newark. The cemetery is 208 acres (0.84 km2) in size and located in North Arlington, at the south end of Bergen County. By August 2013, the cemetery had provided burial or entombment facilities for 289,600 individuals.

Arlington is a former commuter railroad train station in the Arlington section of Kearny, Hudson County, New Jersey. Located on Garafola Place between the Forest and Elm Street intersections, the station served trains on NJ Transit's Boonton Line as well as the only remaining active station in Kearny until its closure. The station, which contained two low-level side platforms, operated trains between Hoboken Terminal and locations west to Dover and Hackettstown. The next station to the east was Hoboken while the station to the west was Rowe Street in Bloomfield. Railroad service through the Arlington neighborhood began on January 1, 1873 with the introduction of the Montclair Railway between Pavonia Terminal in Jersey City to Monks in West Milford. The station was one of two in Kearny for the line, with the other one at West Arlington. This line became and the New York and Greenwood Lake Railroad, operated by the Erie Railroad until October 17, 1960. The line became part of the merged Greenwood Lake-Boonton Line in 1963. The service continued into NJ Transit, becoming the Boonton Line. Arlington station closed, along with Rowe Street and Benson Street station in Glen Ridge on September 20, 2002 in advance of the opening of the Montclair Connection.

The Belleville Turnpike Bridge is a vehicular moveable bridge spanning the Passaic River in northeastern New Jersey 8.9 miles (14.3 km) from its river mouth at Newark Bay. Also known as Rutgers Street Bridge and Route 7 Bridge, it is the fourth fixed crossing to be built at the location, today the tripoint of the municipal and county lines of Belleville in Essex, Kearny in Hudson, and North Arlington in Bergen. Commissioned by the New Jersey Department of Transportation, which owns and operates it, the vertical lift bridge opened in 2002.

West Arlington was a former commuter railroad train station in the Arlington section of Kearny, Hudson County, New Jersey. Located overlooking Passaic Avenue (Hudson County Route 699), West Arlington station was one of two in Kearny on the Erie Railroad's New York and Greenwood Lake Railroad, the other one being Arlington at Garafola Place. The station contained two low-level side platforms, with a pair of depots, one of which was on each platform. Trains went from Pavonia Terminal in Jersey City to Wanaque–Midvale station in Wanaque. The next station to the west was North Newark, across nearby WR Draw, a swing bridge over the Route 21, the Passaic River and Passaic Avenue. West Arlington station opened on January 1, 1873 with the opening of the Montclair Railway between Jersey City and Monks in West Milford in Passaic County. At the time of opening, the station retained the name of Kearny. The station was located at the end of a cut, 0.5-mile (0.80 km) west of Arlington station. West Arlington station, which doubled as the control tower for nearby WR Draw, served passenger trains until September 30, 1966, when the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad discontinued passenger service to the station after a final Caldwell Branch train crossed. The station depot on the eastbound platform remained, standing abandoned until it burned down in 1976.
