Fifteen Fifty is a 40-story, 400-foot (120 m) residential skyscraper at 1550 Mission Street in San Francisco, California.The tower is located in the South of the Market neighborhood. The interior was planned by Marmol Radziner and the exterior was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The building has 550 rooms and includes a 12,000 square-foot park. Construction began in 2018 and it was completed in 2020. It is one of San Francisco's newest high-rises and is the 57th tallest building in the city.

The Fillmore West was a historic rock and roll music venue in San Francisco, California, US which became famous under the direction of concert promoter Bill Graham from 1968 to 1971. Named after The Fillmore at the intersection of Fillmore Street and Geary Boulevard (which was Graham's principal venue from 1966 to 1968), it stood at the southwest corner of Market Street and South Van Ness Avenue in the Civic Center district. In June 2018, the top two floors of the building reopened as SVN West, a new concert and corporate event venue.

Pacific High Recording (also referred to as Pacific High Studios) was an independent recording studio in San Francisco. Founded in 1968, the studio was part of the San Francisco sound and the location for recordings by such notable artists as Sly and the Family Stone, the Grateful Dead, The Charlatans, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and Van Morrison.

Van Ness station is an underground Muni Metro station on the Market Street subway at the intersection of Market Street and Van Ness Avenue (U.S. Route 101) in San Francisco, California. The station consists of a concourse mezzanine on the first floor down, and a single island platform on the second level down. Service at the station began in February 1980.The station has suffered flooding during heavy rainstorms, including one in October 2009, and another in December 2014 which damaged an electrical equipment room. In February 2017, the SFMTA signed a $1.9 million contract to repair water-damaged wiring in the room.This station is at the southern terminus of the Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit route. Under the proposed western variant of the planned Better Market Street project, the outbound F stop would be moved across the intersection.

The New Conservatory Theatre Center is a not-for-profit theatre company located in San Francisco, California. NCTC showcases an eight-show Pride Season, an In-Concert/Cabaret Series, Family Theatre performances, YouthAware Touring Educational Theatre, and an Emerging Artists program. NCTC also houses a comprehensive Conservatory for youth and adults. It is located in San Francisco at 25 Van Ness Avenue, near Market Street.

Zuni Café is a restaurant in San Francisco, California. It is located on Market Street in San Francisco and named after the Zuni tribe of indigenous Pueblo peoples of Arizona and New Mexico.Zuni Café was established in 1979 by Billy West. In 1981 he hired Vince Calcagno as the manager, who became a business partner in 1987. West and Calcagno hired Judy Rodgers (formerly of Chez Panisse) as head chef in 1987. West died on July 1, 1994; Calcagno and Rodgers went on to become co-owners. Zuni Cafe, with Rodgers at the helm, won the James Beard Foundation Award for 'Best Chef: Pacific' in 2000, 'Outstanding Restaurant' in 2003, and 'Outstanding Chef' in 2004. In 2018, the restaurant received the James Beard Award for Outstanding Service.Calcagno retired in 2006. Gilbert Pilgram joined Zuni Café as a co-owner in 2006. Rodgers died on December 2, 2013.

The Jon Sims Center for the Performing Arts (JSCPA) was a multidisciplinary performing arts center in San Francisco, California, that supported artistic voices of all performing artists no matter their sexual identity or preferences. The Center provided resources to support and promote new and existing arts programs. JSCPA was the "official" home to many groups, including the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Marching Band (seated concert band), the San Francisco Tap Troupe, City Swing with Gail Wilson, the Barbary Coast Cloggers and the original home of the Pacific Ballet headed by Kaz Zmuda. At its height, the resources JSPCA provided artists included three rehearsal/performance spaces and networking resources for local performing artists, as well as funding for at least one artist-in-residence annually. The Pacific Ballet Center became the permanent home of the San Francisco Tap Troupe in 1983. Two years later Pacific Ballet offered to let the SF Tap Troupe take over management of building. The group approached the board of the SF Band Foundation and the board agreed to take control of 1519 Mission Street and signed a new lease. The Jon Sims Center opened in 1985, a year after the death of Jon Reed Sims, the founder of the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Marching Band and Twirling Corps (now the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band). Sims, who died of AIDS in 1984, also founded the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, the San Francisco Lesbian Gay chorus and Lambda Pro Musica (a classical seated group). Sims later founded the San Francisco Tap Troupe with his close friend Rosie Radiator. The Center closed in November 2006 following a financial crisis that included the disappearance of $35,000 in grant money. Longer-term problems included the lack of a stable, long-term board and executive director, despite determined efforts to keep the institution alive. The Sims Center was located at 1519 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94103.

The Caldron (often misspelled Cauldron), at 853 Natoma Street in San Francisco, in the South of Market St. area, was a gay sex club which opened in 1980 and closed in 1984. It was called "the epitome of the uninhibited, abandoned, 'sleazy' sex club."

The French American International School is a PK-12 independent school in San Francisco, California. The lower school (PK-8) is known as "French American" or simply "FAIS," FAIS is a bilingual French-English school from PK to 8th grade. The high school, International High School, referred to as "IHS" or "International", has its own identity and French is not required to attend. IHS is currently the only school in San Francisco to offer both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and the French Bac. Over half of the incoming freshman class at IHS come from Bay Area middle schools outside of FAIS, including, Chinese American International School (CAIS), Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley, International School of the Peninsula (ISTP), Live Oak, San Francisco Day, Presidio Hill, Hamlin, SF Friends, Adda Clevenger, Brandeis, Children's Day, Katherine Delmar Burke, Marin Country Day, St. Paul Episcopal, Alice Fong Yu, Aptos, and Everett, among others. A small number of students enter from schools abroad.

NEMA, also known as Tenth and Market, is a 754-unit luxury residential apartment complex in the Mid-Market neighborhood of San Francisco, California, United States, across the street from Twitter's corporate headquarters. The complex consists of a 24-story, tower at Jessie and Tenth Streets and a 37-story, tower at Market and Tenth Streets, connected by a nine-story podium along Tenth Street.
