Willamette National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery located about 10 miles (16 km) southeast of the city of Portland, Oregon. Administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, it encompasses 269.4 acres (109.0 ha) straddling the county line between Multnomah and Clackamas Counties. As of 2021, there had been 188,000 interments. It is one of three national cemeteries in Oregon (the other two being Roseburg and Eagle Point). On July 5, 2016, the cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Southeast Flavel Street is a light rail station on the MAX Green Line in Portland, Oregon. It is the sixth stop southbound on the I-205 MAX branch. The station is located at SE Flavel Street, adjacent to Interstate 205, and has a center platform. Johnson Creek flows beneath the interstate and railway tracks, slightly north of the station.

Southeast Fuller Road is a light rail station on TriMet's MAX Green Line in Portland, Oregon, located between SE 82nd Avenue and Interstate 205. It is the 7th stop southbound on the Interstate 205 MAX branch. The station has a center platform and is surrounded by a park and ride facility. A month before the station went into service, Clackamas County land use planners went public with a proposal to make the area surrounding the station subject to a type of zoning that would be new to the county, one based on a form-based code. Planners think such a change would promote transit-oriented development and a "denser, more vibrant mix of uses in the area", which is currently dominated by surface parking and big-box stores. The station is on the eastern edge of the county's North Clackamas Revitalization Area, an urban renewal district established in 2006.

The Springwater Corridor Trail is a bicycle and pedestrian rail trail in the Portland metropolitan area in Oregon, United States. It follows a former railway line from Boring through Gresham to Portland, where it ends south of the Eastbank Esplanade. Most of the corridor, about 21 miles (34 km) long, consists of paved, off-street trail, though about 1 mile (1.6 km) overlaps city streets in Portland's Sellwood neighborhood. A large segment roughly follows the course of Johnson Creek and crosses it on bridges many times. Much of the corridor was acquired by the City of Portland in 1990; remaining segments were acquired by Metro thereafter.The trail is part of the Portland area's 40-Mile Loop trail system. It connects to many adjacent or nearby parks, including Tideman Johnson Natural Area, Powell Butte, and others.

Sunnyside is a former census-designated place in Clackamas County in the U.S. state of Oregon. Located in the Portland metropolitan area along Interstate 205, the population was 6,791 at the 2000 census. The area was not recorded as a distinct place for the 2010 census.

The Lents neighborhood in the Southeast section of Portland, Oregon is bordered by SE Powell Blvd. on the north, the Clackamas County line or City of Portland line on the south (whichever is farther south), SE 82nd Ave. to the west, and roughly SE 112th on the east. The NE corner overlaps with the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood. In addition to Powellhurst-Gilbert on the north and east, Lents also borders Foster-Powell, Mt. Since the late 20th century, it has become more diverse, the home of many Asian, Russian/Eastern European, and Latino immigrants.It is nicknamed "felony flats" owing to having the highest proportion of parolees anywhere in the Northwest. It was said in 2003 that the police referred to Lents as "felony flats": 57 : 10 Lents is six miles (10 km) southeast of downtown Portland and lies within the 97266 ZIP code.

Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center is a not-for-profit, general care hospital in the Sunnyside area of Clackamas County in the U.S. state of Oregon. Opened in 1975, the Kaiser Permanente owned facility is licensed for 233 hospital beds. Located in the Portland metropolitan area along Interstate 205 on the eastside, after Bess Kaiser Hospital in north Portland closed, it was Kaiser's only hospital in the Portland area until Westside Medical Center opened in 2013. The hospital includes Clackamas County's only heart surgery facility.

Beggars Tick Wildlife Refuge, also known as Beggars Tick Marsh, is a 20-acre (8.1 ha) park in Portland, Oregon's Lents neighborhood, in the United States.

The Clackamas Town Center Transit Center is a bus transit center and MAX Light Rail station on the MAX Green Line, located in Clackamas County, Oregon, in the southeastern part of the Portland metropolitan area. It is the southern terminus for the I-205 MAX branch. Owned by regional transit agency TriMet, the current transit center opened in 2009 and is located on the east side of the Clackamas Town Center mall, adjacent to Interstate 205. An earlier transit center at the mall had opened in 1981.

Leach Botanical Garden is a 16-acre (6.5 ha) botanical garden located in outer southeast Portland, Oregon, near S.E. 122nd Avenue and Foster Road. It was acquired by the Portland Parks Bureau in 1972.

Mount Talbert is a volcanic cinder cone in Clackamas County, Oregon. It is part of the Boring Lava Field, a zone of ancient volcanic activity in the area around Portland. Its summit rises to an elevation of 740+ ft (230+ m). The butte remains undeveloped and is the location of a nature park of the same name which is managed by North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District. The park has 4.2 miles (6.8 km) of hiking trails, including Park Loop, Summit and West Ridge Trail, along which there are several instructive signs about the area's natural resources. In 2005 the recreation district began promoting regrowth of more fire resistant white oak by girdling and removing Douglas firs, which impede the growth of the oaks by shading out the sun.
