Mount Scott is a volcanic cinder cone with its summit in Clackamas County, Oregon. The summit rises to an elevation of 1,091 feet (333 m). It is part of the Boring Lava Field, a zone of ancient volcanic activity in the area around Portland, and was named for Harvey W. Scott, a 19th and 20th century editor of The Oregonian newspaper. who owned 335 acres (136 ha) on the north and west slopes of the hill.Mt. Scott was home to a "perpetual" cross burning by Oregon's Ku Klux Klan in the 1920s. Automotive parades of hooded Klan members were common in Southeast Portland.The mountain is developed, with most of its southern flank within the city of Happy Valley, Oregon. The Willamette National Cemetery is located on the northeastern slope of the mountain, which is partially in Multnomah County.

Leach Botanical Garden is a 16-acre (6.5 ha) botanical garden located in outer southeast Portland, Oregon, near S.E. 122nd Avenue and Foster Road. It was acquired by the Portland Parks Bureau in 1972.

The Springwater Corridor Trail is a bicycle and pedestrian rail trail in the Portland metropolitan area in Oregon, United States. It follows a former railway line from Boring through Gresham to Portland, where it ends south of the Eastbank Esplanade. Most of the corridor, about 21 miles (34 km) long, consists of paved, off-street trail, though about 1 mile (1.6 km) overlaps city streets in Portland's Sellwood neighborhood. A large segment roughly follows the course of Johnson Creek and crosses it on bridges many times. Much of the corridor was acquired by the City of Portland in 1990; remaining segments were acquired by Metro thereafter.The trail is part of the Portland area's 40-Mile Loop trail system. It connects to many adjacent or nearby parks, including Tideman Johnson Natural Area, Powell Butte, and others.

Cedar Crossing Bridge is a covered bridge in southeast Portland in the U.S. state of Oregon. Built in 1982, it carries Deardorff Road over Johnson Creek. The Oregon Department of Transportation notes that the bridge, even though it is covered, is "not a true covered bridge" because it does not use a timber truss for support.Cedar Crossing Bridge is the only covered bridge in Multnomah County. It replaced an older wooden truss bridge that had fallen into disrepair. Notable features of the 1982 bridge include five large windows on each side, an interior finished with knotty pine, a 24-foot (7.3 m) roadway, and a separate 5-foot (1.5 m) walkway for foot traffic.In 2015, an article in The Oregonian newspaper reported problems on or near the bridge in the form of graffiti, trash, a surface walkway with mud and standing water, and apparent bullet holes. However, the Portland Bureau of Transportation found the bridge deck to be in satisfactory condition and the overall structure to be in fair or good condition in 2014. The bridge abutments, constructed in 1936 for an earlier bridge, were said to be in fair condition.

The Lents neighborhood in the Southeast section of Portland, Oregon is bordered by SE Powell Blvd. on the north, the Clackamas County line or City of Portland line on the south (whichever is farther south), SE 82nd Ave. to the west, and roughly SE 112th on the east. The NE corner overlaps with the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood. In addition to Powellhurst-Gilbert on the north and east, Lents also borders Foster-Powell, Mt. It was said in 2003 that the police referred to Lents as "felony flats": 57 : 10 Lents is six miles (10 km) southeast of downtown Portland and lies within the 97266 ZIP code.

Raymond Park is a 6.11-acre (2.47 ha) public park in southeast Portland, Oregon's Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood, in the United States. The park was acquired in 1993. A Portland Loo was installed in Raymond Park in 2018.

Southeast Flavel Street is a light rail station on the MAX Green Line in Portland, Oregon. It is the sixth stop southbound on the I-205 MAX branch. The station is located at SE Flavel Street, adjacent to Interstate 205, and has a center platform. Johnson Creek flows beneath the interstate and railway tracks, slightly north of the station.

Bloomington Park is a 12.87-acre (5.21 ha) public park in Portland, Oregon's Lents neighborhood, in the United States. The park was acquired in 1940.

Lents Town Center/Southeast Foster Road is a light rail station on the MAX Green Line in Portland, Oregon. It is the 5th stop southbound on the I-205 MAX branch. The station is at the intersection of Interstate 205 and Foster Road. It is located in the Lents neighborhood's town center business district. It also provides access to the Springwater Corridor, which was once a transit line to the suburbs and is now a dedicated bikeway through southeast Portland.
