KAZI (88.7 FM) is a listener-supported, non-commercial community radio station in Austin, Texas, United States. The transmitter site is located in Southwest Austin and the station has studios in Northeast Austin. It is owned by Austin Community Radio, Inc., a Texas non-profit entity founded April 22, 1975.

Lost Creek is an affluent upper-middle-class neighborhood and census-designated place (CDP) of approximately 4,500 people in Travis County, Texas, United States. The census tract is bordered by Capital of Texas Highway to the east, Barton Creek to the south, Barton Creek Boulevard to the west, and Bee Caves Road to the north. The Lost Creek CDP encompasses several small neighborhoods—Parkstone, Woods of Westlake, Camelot, and Knollwood—as well as the largest and most populous Lost Creek neighborhood. The neighborhood is named after a secluded section of Barton Creek away from more popular portions downstream that include Barton Springs and Zilker Park. Suburban residential development began in the late 1970s and continued for over three decades. Lost Creek is almost completely built-out. Lost Creek also encompasses a commercial area bordering Bee Caves Road and Capital of Texas Highway. Businesses occupying these buildings include Capital One Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Apple Inc. Lost Creek was annexed by the City of Austin in December 2015.

Westlake High School is a public high school in unincorporated territory of Travis County, Texas, west of and adjacent to Austin. The school is a part of the Eanes Independent School District. Westlake High School is the only high school in the Eanes ISD and serves West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, parts of Southwest Austin, as well as parts of unincorporated Travis County. The school was established in 1969 and opened in 1970. In 2011, Westlake was ranked 72 on Newsweek magazine's list of America's best high schools. In 2012, Westlake was #160 in the Newsweek poll. In 2013, Westlake was #93 and in 2014, it was #117.In high school rankings by The Washington Post, Westlake was #136 in 2014 and 2013. In 2012, it was #106 in The Washington Post poll, #59 in 2011, and #52 in 2010.

Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve consists of 227 acres (919,000 m2) of native Texas Hill Country habitat west of Austin, Texas in West Lake Hills. The preserve was founded in 1974 by seven women who were members of an environmentalist group called Now or Never, and it was Austin's first nature preserve. The preserve maintains 2.5 miles (4 km) of hiking trails.

Trinity Episcopal School is a K-8 independent co-ed day school in Austin, Texas. The school was founded in 1999 in a rented blue house near the University of Texas campus. Since that inaugural year, the school has grown from 13 students to more than 500, moved to a 15-acre (61,000 m2) campus in West Lake Hills and built six buildings. Trinity Episcopal School is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest and the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools.

West Lake Hills (locally referred to as "Westlake") is a city in Travis County, Texas, United States. The population was 3,444 at the 2020 census. The city developed rapidly in the 1970s and 1980s on the south side of the Colorado River. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.7 square miles (9.6 km2). It is a suburb of Austin, located just west of central Austin.

Barton Creek is a census-designated place (CDP) in Travis County, Texas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the CDP population was 3,077. Barton Creek is ranked second in Texas based on per capita income.

Barton Creek Square is an enclosed shopping mall located in southwest Austin, Texas in the United States, near the intersection of Texas State Highway Loop 1 and Texas State Highway Loop 360. The mall is eponymously named after Barton Creek, Texas. Anchor stores are two Dillard's locations, JCPenney, Macy's, and Nordstrom.

KLBJ-FM (93.7 FM) is a commercial radio station in Austin, Texas broadcasting an album-oriented rock radio format billed as "The Rock of Austin." KLBJ-FM is owned by Sinclair Telecable Inc. (unrelated to television broadcaster Sinclair Broadcast Group, who owns CBS station KEYE) and operated under the name Waterloo Media. The station was once owned by the family of President Lyndon Baines Johnson, and still carries his initials as its call letters. KLBJ-FM has studios and offices along Interstate 35 in North Austin. The transmitter and broadcast tower are atop Austin's Mount Larson. KLBJ-FM broadcasts in the HD Radio format. Its HD-2 subchannel airs Blues music. "The Dudley & Bob Show" (Dale Dudley, Bob Fonseca and Matt Bearden), is in the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. In 2007, it won a Marconi Award from the National Association of Broadcasters for "Medium Market Personality of the Year." KLBJ-FM holds an annual fishing tournament each year in Jonestown, Texas.

St. Stephen's Episcopal School is a private coeducational preparatory boarding and day school in Austin, Texas. Enrollment for the 2019-20 academic year is approximately 694, with 487 students in grades 9–12 and 207 in grades 6–8. Of the school's 694 students, 523 are day students and 171 are boarding students. The school's campus overlooks Lake Austin and is spread across 370 acres (1.5 km2) of the Texas Hill Country. The school is accredited by The Association of Boarding Schools, Independent Schools Association of the Southwest, the Southwestern Association of Independent Schools, the National Association of Episcopal Schools, the National Association of Independent Schools, National Association for College Admission Counseling, and the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools.

KROX-FM (101.5 MHz) is a commercial radio station licensed to Buda, Texas, and serving the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area. It is owned by Sinclair Telecable Inc. (not related to television broadcaster Sinclair Broadcast Group, who owns CBS station KEYE-TV) and broadcasts an alternative rock format. The station has studios along Interstate 35 in North Austin, and the transmitter site is located off Waymaker Way at the West Austin Antenna Farm.
