St. Stephen's Episcopal School is a private coeducational preparatory boarding and day school in Austin, Texas. Enrollment for the 2019-20 academic year is approximately 694, with 487 students in grades 9–12 and 207 in grades 6–8. Of the school's 694 students, 523 are day students and 171 are boarding students. The school's campus overlooks Lake Austin and is spread across 370 acres (1.5 km2) of the Texas Hill Country. The school is accredited by The Association of Boarding Schools, Independent Schools Association of the Southwest, the Southwestern Association of Independent Schools, the National Association of Episcopal Schools, the National Association of Independent Schools, National Association for College Admission Counseling, and the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools.

Las Cimas (Spanish: "Summit" or "Top") is an office complex in unincorporated Travis County, Texas, between Austin and West Lake Hills. The buildings, southwest of Downtown Austin, are about 300 yards (270 m) south of the southwest corner of Las Cimas Parkway and Texas State Highway Loop 360 (Capital of Texas Highway). It previously housed the headquarters of Dell and American Campus Communities.Las Cimas II and III are owned by Spear Street Capital.

KROX-FM (101.5 MHz) is a commercial radio station licensed to Buda, Texas, and serving the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area. It is owned by Sinclair Telecable Inc. (not related to television broadcaster Sinclair Broadcast Group, who owns CBS station KEYE-TV) and broadcasts an alternative rock format. The station has studios along Interstate 35 in North Austin, and the transmitter site is located off Waymaker Way at the West Austin Antenna Farm.

Emma Long Metropolitan Park is a large municipal park in northwest Austin, Texas (United States). The park is on the shores of Lake Austin and was originally called City Park. The park features open space, camp sites, boat ramps, picnic table sites and a designating swimming area.In 1939, Civilian Conservation Corps Company 1805 that had just finished Bastrop State Park moved to the site to begin developing the tract of land into a municipal park. The company's primary work included seeding and sodding grass, planting trees, and protecting the bank of the lake from erosion. They built docks, piers and a boathouse. They also built a wooden bath house and concession stand. These wooden structures burned and were replaced with stone structures that are still in use. In 1984, the Austin City Council renamed the park after Emma Long, a former Austin City Council Member. Long was the first woman to serve on the council of a large city in Texas. She also served as the first woman Mayor Pro Tem from 1967-1969.

West Lake Hills (locally referred to as "Westlake") is a city in Travis County, Texas, United States. The population was 3,444 at the 2020 census. The city developed rapidly in the 1970s and 1980s on the south side of the Colorado River. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.7 square miles (9.6 km2). It is a suburb of Austin, located just west of central Austin.

KMFA FM 89.5 is a non-profit, listener-supported, classical radio station licensed in Austin, Texas. Currently under ownership of Capitol Broadcasting Association, Inc, KMFA serves 100,000 listeners. The broadcast schedule consists of playlists announced by local hosts, as well as nationally syndicated broadcasts, including those from the Metropolitan Opera during its season. On the weekends, the NPR program From the Top, showcasing young classical musicians, is heard on KMFA, as well as a program of classical music from the School of Music at the University of Texas-Austin. KMFA is licensed to broadcast a digital hybrid HD signal.

KFMK (105.9 FM) is an Austin, Texas radio station operating a contemporary Christian format as an affiliate of the K-Love radio network. It is licensed to Round Rock, Texas with an ERP of 4,500 watts from a transmitter site near West Lake Hills, and is currently owned by Educational Media Foundation.

KVLR (92.5 MHz) is a non-commercial FM radio station licensed to Sunset Valley, Texas, and serving the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area. It is owned by the Educational Media Foundation as the Austin affiliate for EMF's Air1 radio network, airing its Christian Worship music format. It does not carry commercials, instead making on-air appeals for contributions. The station also has two translators at 92.1 FM in Austin and 92.9 FM in Del Valle. In the Austin area, Air1 programming is also heard on 92.1 KYLR in Hutto. KVLR broadcasts using HD Radio technology. Its HD2 digital subchannel carries programming from Radio Nueva Vida, a Spanish-language Christian radio network.

Lost Creek is an affluent upper-middle-class neighborhood and census-designated place (CDP) of approximately 4,500 people in Travis County, Texas, United States. The census tract is bordered by Capital of Texas Highway to the east, Barton Creek to the south, Barton Creek Boulevard to the west, and Bee Caves Road to the north. The Lost Creek CDP encompasses several small neighborhoods—Parkstone, Woods of Westlake, Camelot, and Knollwood—as well as the largest and most populous Lost Creek neighborhood. The neighborhood is named after a secluded section of Barton Creek away from more popular portions downstream that include Barton Springs and Zilker Park. Suburban residential development began in the late 1970s and continued for over three decades. Lost Creek is almost completely built-out. Lost Creek also encompasses a commercial area bordering Bee Caves Road and Capital of Texas Highway. Businesses occupying these buildings include Capital One Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Apple Inc. Lost Creek was annexed by the City of Austin in December 2015.

KLBJ-FM (93.7 FM) is a commercial radio station in Austin, Texas broadcasting an album-oriented rock radio format billed as "The Rock of Austin." KLBJ-FM is owned by Sinclair Telecable Inc. (unrelated to television broadcaster Sinclair Broadcast Group, who owns CBS station KEYE) and operated under the name Waterloo Media. The station was once owned by the family of President Lyndon Baines Johnson, and still carries his initials as its call letters. KLBJ-FM has studios and offices along Interstate 35 in North Austin. The transmitter and broadcast tower are atop Austin's Mount Larson. KLBJ-FM broadcasts in the HD Radio format. Its HD-2 subchannel airs Blues music. "The Dudley & Bob Show" (Dale Dudley, Bob Fonseca and Matt Bearden), is in the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. In 2007, it won a Marconi Award from the National Association of Broadcasters for "Medium Market Personality of the Year." KLBJ-FM holds an annual fishing tournament each year in Jonestown, Texas.

Trinity Episcopal School is a K-8 independent co-ed day school in Austin, Texas. The school was founded in 1999 in a rented blue house near the University of Texas campus. Since that inaugural year, the school has grown from 13 students to more than 500, moved to a 15-acre (61,000 m2) campus in West Lake Hills and built six buildings. Trinity Episcopal School is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest and the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools.

KAZI (88.7 FM) is a listener-supported, non-commercial community radio station in Austin, Texas, United States. The transmitter site is located in Southwest Austin and the station has studios in Northeast Austin. It is owned by Austin Community Radio, Inc., a Texas non-profit entity founded April 22, 1975.
