Rosario – Islas Malvinas International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional de Rosario – Islas Malvinas) (IATA: ROS, ICAO: SAAR), formerly known as Fisherton International Airport, is located 13 km (8.1 mi) west-northwest from the center of Rosario, a city in the Santa Fe Province of Argentina. The airport covers an area of 550 ha (1,400 acres) and is operated by the Province of Santa Fe.The airport serves the Greater Rosario area and is served by Aerolíneas Argentinas and COPA. There are domestic flights within Argentina from Rosario to Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Salta, Puerto Iguazú, San Carlos de Bariloche, El Calafate, Mar del Plata (via Buenos Aires), Mendoza (vía Córdoba), Santa Fe (via Buenos Aires) and Villa Gesell (only in summer, via Buenos Aires), as well as international services to Panama. The airport is at an elevation of 26 m (85 ft) and the runway is 3,000 m × 60 m (9,843 ft × 197 ft). A new terminal was constructed between 2003 and 2004, effectively making Rosario an international airport. During the first years of the 21st century the Rosario Airport lost a considerable volume of air traffic, even after being updated and expanded in 2003–2004. In 2005 there were only 1,807 flights, about 75% less than in 2000. Since 2013, however, it has been steadily growing in both traffic and connectivity.The airport's name reflects Argentina's claims of sovereignty over the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas in Spanish).

Estadio Mundialista Luciana Aymar is a field hockey stadium in Rosario, Argentina. It was specifically built to host the 2010 Women's Hockey World Cup, with a capacity of 12,000 with mobile grandstands. The stadium changed its name in 2015 to honor Luciana Aymar, widely regarded as the best Argentine femmale hockey player ever.After it was announced the stadium would be the venue for the 2012 Women's Hockey Champions Trophy, a permanent grandstand was built on one of the sides of the pitch with 1,400 seats plus the mobile grandstands as previously erected for the World Cup for a total capacity of 6,200.This stadium was chosen one more time to host the Final of the 2014–15 FIH Hockey World League. Before the final match started, it was officially confirmed by the municipal authorities the name change in honor of Aymar with the unveiling of a plaque.

Ibarlucea is a town (comuna) in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It has 4,402 inhabitants per the 2010 census [INDEC]. It is located on National Route 34, immediately north-west of Rosario, forming part of the Greater Rosario metropolitan area, and 155 km (96 mi) south of the provincial capital Santa Fe. The area was known as Kilómetro 409 around the end of the 19th century, since during 12 years, beginning in 1891, it was a settlement centered on a train station for the Rosario–Tucumán line of the Ferrocarril General Manuel Belgrano. The town proper was founded in 1903 by Rita Alcácer de Ybarlucea, who donated lands formerly owned by her deceased husband Melitón Ybarlucea (ibar luzea in Standard Basque means "the long valley") to be used for public offices, streets, a square, a church, etc. The town depended on a support commission based in Rosario, until the local communal institutions were created on 5 April 1915.

The Autódromo Municipal Juan Manuel Fangio is a motor sports racing circuit located in Rosario in the Santa Fe Province of Argentina. It has hosted national touring car races such as the Turismo Carretera, TC2000 and Top Race V6, as well as the World RX of Argentina in 2015 and 2016. The circuit is named after the fifth Formula One world champions, Juan Manuel Fangio (1911–1995).

Antártida Argentina is a railway station located in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, in the western neighbourhood of Fisherton (intersection of Morrison Avenue and Wilde St.). Nowadays the station building serves as a cultural centre dependent on the Municipality of Rosario.

Roldán is a small city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, located within the metropolitan area of Greater Rosario. According to the 2001 census, it had a population of 11,470 inhabitants. Its area is 114 km². Roldán is about 23 km (14 mi) west of the center of the city of Rosario, within the San Lorenzo Department, beside the National Route 9 (near Funes) and the Rosario-Córdoba Highway. It was founded in 1870, and officially became a city in 1987. From 2001 to 2021, the Mayor of Roldán was José María Pedretti, the current Mayor is Daniel Escalante.

Pérez is a city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It is part of the Greater Rosario metropolitan area, and lies 175 km south of the provincial capital (Santa Fe). It has a population of about 26,000 inhabitants (2010 census [INDEC]). The town was founded in 1876 by Eduardo Pérez and María Pérez de Jolly. It became officially a commune (comuna) on 20 November 1905, and a city on 4 November 1971.

Belgrano is a barrio (neighborhood) in the west of Rosario, Argentina. It is named in honor of Manuel Belgrano, creator of the Argentine flag. The center of Barrio Belgrano is the intersection of Provincias Unidas Avenue and Mendoza Avenue. The Bartolomé Mitre Park, popularly known as Las Cuatro Plazas (The Four Squares), is located there, occupying the four corners. At the end of the 19th century it was the location of a town known as Eloy Palacios, first settled by farmers in 1889. It was then also known as Barrio Vila. The old Barrio Vila train station, built in 1891 by the Ferrocarril Central Argentino, has been preserved, though it is now mostly inactive. Near the Cuatro Plazas lies the Church of Saint Anthony of Padua, also built in 1891, and next to it the parochial College of the Immaculate Conception (1903). In the south of the barrio, on Provincias Unidas Avenue, lies the La Piedad Cemetery.

The Brigadier Estanislao López Highway (AP 01) is a highway in the Argentine province of Santa Fe, linking the provincial capital Santa Fe and the city of Rosario. It runs north–south for 157 km (91 mi), roughly parallel to National Route 11. Named in honor of the 19th century caudillo and governor, Estanislao López, the highway was initiated by the Provincial Highway Bureau office during the tenure of Governor Aldo Tessio, and was built between 1964 and 1972. Provincial Law Nº 10.798, signed by Governor Carlos Reutemann in 1993, privatized the highway's operations and maintenance, and redesignated it as a toll road under the management of AUFE.

Barrio Vila is a train station in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. It is located in the west of the city, in the neighbourhood of Belgrano. The station is currently managed by private company Nuevo Central Argentino which runs freight trains on the line.

Sarratea is a railway station located in the north of the city of Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. Although no longer active, the station is currently managed by private company Nuevo Central Argentino, which operates the line for freight services.
