The Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral (Portuguese: Catedral Nossa Senhora do Rosário) Also Santos Cathedral Is a Catholic church in the city of Santos, in São Paulo State, Brazil. It is the headquarters of the Diocese of Santos and the Parish of Our Lady of Rosario Aparecida, the oldest in the city. The old church of Santos, predecessor of the present cathedral was demolished in 1907 by being in an advanced state of deterioration. In 1909, the construction of the new church - the current temple - began, according to the design of the German engineer Maximilian Emil Hehl, professor of the Polytechnic School of São Paulo. Hehl designed a neo-Gothic style church at that time, with a dome over the Renaissance style cruiser. In general, the project is similar to the Metropolitan Cathedral of São Paulo, designed by Hehl himself. The church, still unfinished, was temporarily opened in 1924, with a Mass celebrated by the metropolitan archbishop Duarte Leopoldo e Silva. In 1925 the Diocese of Saints was created by Pope Pius XI, and the temple was elevated to the category of cathedral. The works of the church would not be finished until 1967.

The Santos trolleybus system forms part of the public transport network in Santos, a municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Opened on 12 August 1963, it presently comprises only one line, and, along with the two São Paulo metropolitan area trolleybus systems, is one of only three trolleybus systems still operating in Brazil.

Estádio Ulrico Mursa is a football (soccer) stadium located in Santos, São Paulo state, Brazil. The stadium was built in 1920 and is able to hold approximately 7,600 people. The stadium is owned by Associação Atlética Portuguesa and its formal name honors Ulrico Mursa, who was Companhia Docas de Santos director.

Santos is Brazil's largest container port, handling nearly 75 percent of the local trade and 25 percent of Brazil's foreign trade.

Estádio Urbano Caldeira, also known as Vila Belmiro or Pelé, is an association football stadium located in the Vila Belmiro neighborhood of Santos, São Paulo, and the home of Santos Futebol Clube.The stadium was inaugurated on 12 October 1916, when Santos FC beat Clube Atlético Ypiranga 2–1, with Adolpho Millon Jr. scoring the first goal of the stadium. It was named in honour of Urbano Caldeira, former player, manager and chairman of Santos, in 1933. The stadium, given the nickname Vila Belmiro due to its location within the Vila Belmiro neighborhood, has been Santos' permanent residence since 1916. However, the team sometimes uses the Pacaembu Stadium located in the city of São Paulo for important games due to the low capacity of Vila Belmiro. The stadium underwent several expansions and renovations in the 1990s and 2000s (decade), most notably the renewal of the irrigation and drainage systems, flood-lighting and the replacement of the field. The stadium's current highest attendance was recorded in 1964, when 32,989 spectators watched the Campeonato Paulista match between Santos and Corinthians.The funeral of Pelé was held here on 2 and 3 January 2023.

The Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica is a Brazilian cemetery. Located in Santos, in the state of São Paulo, its construction began in 1983, and the first burial was on 28 July 1984.

On 13 August 2014, a Cessna Citation Excel business jet crashed while trying to land at Santos Air Force Base, near Santos, Brazil, killing all seven people on board. Among the victims was Brazilian Socialist Party presidential candidate Eduardo Campos. Eleven people on the ground were also injured. The accident investigation concluded that spatial disorientation in poor weather and pilot fatigue likely caused a low altitude loss of control of the aircraft, leading to the impact with the ground.

Santos Air Force Base – BAST (IATA: SSZ, ICAO: SBST) is a base of the Brazilian Air Force, located in Guarujá, Brazil. It will share some facilities with Guarujá Civil Metropolitan Aerodrome.

Guarujá Civil Metropolitan Airport (IATA: SSZ, ICAO: SBST) is an airport under construction to serve Guarujá, Santos and the Santos Metropolitan Region in Brazil. It is operated by Infraero. Some of its facilities will be shared with Santos Air Force Base of the Brazilian Air Force.
