Statue of Janko Kráľ is located in the middle of Sad Janka Kráľa (literally Janko Kráľ Park/Garden) in the Petržalka borough in Bratislava, Slovakia. Janko Kráľ was one of the most significant and most radical Slovak romantic poets of the Ľudovít Štúr generation and a national revivalist. It is not exactly known how he looked, but several popular supposed pictures of him exist. One of them was used as a model for this statue from academic sculptor František Gibala., in 1964.

The Slovak Socialist Republic (Slovak: Slovenská socialistická republika, SSR) was from 1969 to 1990 a republic within the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, when previously unitary Czechoslovak state changed into a federation. The name was used from 1 January 1969 until November 1989. The Slovak Republic (Slovak: Slovenská republika, SR) was from 1990 to 1992 a republic within the Czech and Slovak Federative Republic, that is now the independent Slovakia.

Incheba (Expo) (formerly stylized as Incheba €XPO) is a congress and exposition centre located in the Petržalka borough of Bratislava, Slovakia, just near Nový Most bridge. It includes multi-use exhibition halls, a parking lot with 4,500 places, a main building 85.6 meters high and the Hotel Incheba. The fair program is oriented to areas such as construction, tourism, gastronomy, chemical industry, automobile industry, cosmetics, fashion, medical equipment and arts. The Coneco, Incheba, Slovmedica and Slovfarma fairs have been included in the UFI calendar. It is also used for events such as concerts, conferences and tournaments. In 2006, more than a million people visited Incheba, of which 700,000 came to a total of 49 expositions, shows and fairs and 338,000 to other events.

Aupark Tower is a high-rise building in Bratislava located in the district of Petržalka which is a part of the shopping center Aupark. It was built by the HB Reavis Group company in 2007. In 2012, Heitman European Property Partners IV purchased the building for €85.6m. Currently, the office space of the building is occupied by a number of tenants, including Telefónica O2 Slovakia, Eset, Procter & Gamble and AT&T, among others.

Most SNP ("Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising"), commonly referred to as Most Slovenského národného povstania or the UFO Bridge, and named Nový most ("New Bridge") from 1993 to 2012, is a road bridge over the Danube in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. It is the world's longest bridge to have one pylon and one cable-stayed plane. Most SNP is an asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge with a main span length of 303 m (994 ft), a total length of 430.8 m (1,413 ft), a width of 21 m (69 ft), and a weight of 537 t (592 short tons). Its steel construction is suspended from steel cables, connected on the Petržalka side to two pillars. There are four lanes for motor traffic on the upper level and lanes for bicycles and pedestrians on the lower level. It is a member of The World Federation of Great Towers.

Podhradie (Latin: Suburbium; German: Schlossgrund; Hungarian: Pozsony-Várallya) is a historical part of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, situated around the Bratislava Castle hill. Today, it consists of the areas of Zuckermandel, Vydrica and the area above Židovská Street. Until the 13th century, Podhradie consisted of various settlements situated around the castle, outside of the Bratislava city walls with all land on the castle hill belonging to the castle. Zuckermandel and Vydrica were incorporated in 1848 as the 4. district of the city of Bratislava and from 1850 until its partial demolition in the half of 20th century it was called Mesto Márie Terézie (German: Theresienstadt; Hungarian: Terézváros).Podhradie was considered to be the most beautiful and picturesque part of the city, traditionally inhabited by the city poor, it was known especially for its inns and prostitution. Most parts of Podhradie were demolished in the 1950s and 1960s due to the construction of transport infrastructure on the Danube riverbank, including the New Bridge. Today, Zuckermandel is being re-developed with mixed residential/commercial buildings, as of 2017 the demolished Vydrica is for sale and the area above Židovská Street is stabilized, with no new large scale construction planned. Podhradie contains notable landmarks, including ruins of the Water Tower from 1254, St. Nicholas' Church from 1661, Holy Trinity Church from 1738, House of the Good Shepherd from 1765 and it is home to the Museum of Clocks (part of the Bratislava City Museum), Archeological Museum, Music Museum, Museum of Jewish Culture, Museum of Carpathian German Culture and Museum of Hungarian Culture in Slovakia (all part of the Slovak National Museum).

The Holy Trinity Church (Slovak: Kostol Najsvätejšej Trojice) is a Roman Catholic church in Podhradie, a historical part of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia situated underneath the Bratislava Castle next to the Danube riverbank. Today, the church is located in the demolished and now re-developed area of Zuckermandel as one of the few remaining original buildings. The church is active and it serves as a filial church of the Parish of St. Martin. The church is sometimes confused with the Old Cathedral of Saint John of Matha and Saint Felix of Valois in Bratislava because of the similarity of Slovak names of both churches.

Digital Park is a complex of seven modern office buildings located in the Bratislava district Petržalka on Einsteinova Street near the highway D1 (section Viedenská cesta - Prístavný most) and the shopping center Aupark on the opposite side. The main building is connected with Aupark by a footbridge over the highway; it connects the two buildings on their second floors.

Aupark was also a former name of Sad Janka Kráľa public park.Aupark is a shopping centre (shopping mall and entertainment centre) in the Petržalka borough of Bratislava, Slovakia. It was the second major modern shopping centre built in Bratislava, Polus City Center being the first. At the time it opened on 15 November 2001, it was the biggest shopping mall in Slovakia with total shopping space of 44,000 m2. Aupark is situated next to Nový most bridge, beside Sad Janka Kráľa public park, formerly known also as Aupark, not far from the river Danube. It is accessible by car or public bus.

Štadión Rapid is a multi-use stadium in Bratislava, Slovakia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 3,000 people.

Great Moravian Basilica in Bratislava was a Great Moravian church from 9th century at the Bratislava hillfort, in the area of current Bratislava Castle.

Bratislava Castle (Slovak: Bratislavský hrad, IPA: [ˈbracislawskiː ˈɦrat] (listen); German: Pressburger Burg; Hungarian: Pozsonyi vár) is the main castle of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. The massive rectangular building with four corner towers stands on an isolated rocky hill of the Little Carpathians directly above the Danube river in the middle of Bratislava. Because of its size and location, it has been a dominant feature of the city for centuries. The location provides excellent views of Bratislava, Austria and, in clear weather, parts of Hungary. Many legends are connected with the history of the castle.
