Peskovci

Adrijanci (pronounced [adɾiˈjaːntsi]; Hungarian: Andorháza) is a village in the Municipality of Gornji Petrovci in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia. There is a small chapel in the village built at the beginning of the 20th century. It is used as a funeral home and the original hearse is preserved inside the building. It has a three-storey belfry.

The municipality was established in its current form on 3 October 1994, when the former larger Municipality of Murska Sobota was subdivided into nine smaller municipalities. The municipality includes 14 villages, represented in the municipal coat of arms by fourteen simplified blue houses. The shield also includes a heraldic otter holding a golden fish. The municipal holiday is 18 August, chosen as the anniversary of the crash landing of a stratospheric balloon with the Belgian pioneering balloonists Max Cosyns and Nérée van der Elst in 1934. The majority of the population of the municipality are Lutherans, making the Municipality of Gornji Petrovci one of the very few Slovenian municipalities with a non-Catholic majority.

Markovci (pronounced [ˈmaːɾkɔu̯tsi]; Hungarian: Marokrét) is a village in the Municipality of Šalovci in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia. The parish church west of the settlement is dedicated to the Visitation of the Virgin and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Murska Sobota. It was originally built in 1644 but totally rebuilt in 1884 after a fire destroyed the old church. Only the belfry remains of the original church.

Lončarovci (pronounced [lɔnˈtʃaːɾɔu̯tsi]; Hungarian: Gerőháza) is a village in the Municipality of Moravske Toplice in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia. There is a free-standing three-storey belfry in the middle of the village. It was built in the 1940s. The writer István Ballér was born in Lončarovci.

Domanjševci (pronounced [dɔˈmaːnʃɛu̯tsi]; in older sources also Domanjšovci, Hungarian: Domonkosfa) is a village in the Municipality of Šalovci in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia, right on the border with Hungary. There are two churches in the settlement. The Roman Catholic church is built on a small hill southwest of the settlement in the middle of a small cemetery and is dedicated to Saint Martin. It is a single-nave brick building with a Romanesque portal dating to the 13th century. It was originally dedicated to Saint Wenceslas. The Lutheran church in the settlement was built in 1902 in a Neo-Romanesque style. Its designer was the architect Alojz Kleiber. The poet, writer, and teacher István Szijjártó lived and died in the village.

Šalovci (pronounced [ˈʃaːlɔu̯tsi]; Hungarian: Sal) is a village in the Prekmurje region in northeastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Šalovci. The writer Mihály Bakos was born in the village.
