Kobe Central Football Stadium

The Kobe City Misaki Park Stadium (神戸市御崎公園球技場), also known as the Noevir Stadium Kobe (ノエビアスタジアム神戸), is a football stadium in Misaki Park, Hyogo-ku, Kobe, Japan. The stadium has a capacity of 30,132. This stadium, which features a retractable roof, is the home ground of J1 League club Vissel Kobe and the rugby union Japan Rugby League One team Kobelco Kobe Steelers. In 1970, Kobe Central Football Stadium (神戸市立中央競技場) was opened at the site of the Kobe Keirin Track. It was the first football stadium in Japan to be able to host games at night following the installation of night lighting.

Nōfuku-ji (能福寺) is a Buddhist temple that, from the legend, was founded in 805 by the monk Saichō, in Kita Sakasegawa, Hyōgo-ku, Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. Saichō (of the Tendai sect) placed a statue of Yakushi Nyorai of his own making in the temple hall and named the temple Nōfuku Gokoku Mitsu-ji (能福護国密寺). This temple served as a branch temple of Kyoto's Shōren-in from the early Edo period to the beginning of the Meiji period. The Shin-saigoku Pilgrimage (新西国三十三箇所観音霊場) (a Buddhist pilgrimage route in Japan) includes this temple as one of the stops.

It was the first underground structure not crossing an active fault that has completely collapsed during an earthquake without liquefaction of the surrounding soil and was well-documented.

The Wadamisaki Battery (和田岬砲台, Wadamisaki Hōdai) is a coastal defense located in Hyōgo-ku, Kobe, Japan. It was built in 1864 by the Tokugawa shogunate in the Bakumatsu period, shortly before the end of the Shōgun's reign. One of many batteries built by the shogunate towards the end of its reign, the Wadamisaki Battery is the only one remaining from several that were built around Osaka Bay and is today listed in the Japanese government's register of historic sites.

Hyogo (兵庫区, Hyōgo-ku) is one of nine wards of Kobe, Japan. It has an area of 14.56 km2 and a population of 106,322 (as of January 1, 2015).The area's location with a natural harbour near the Akashi Strait which links Osaka Bay and the Seto inland sea has been an important location throughout the history of Japan. The capital of Japan was located in the area for a short period in the 12th century. Today the area is an important manufacturing zone.The modern ward of Hyogo was formed as Sōsai-ku (湊西区, 'Minato (a surname) West Ward') when Kobe adopted the system of wards in 1931. Its name was changed to Hyogo in 1933 and its current boundaries were settled in 1971. The floral emblem of the ward is the pansy.

Shinkaichi Station (新開地駅, Shinkaichi-eki, station numbers: HS 36 (Hanshin, Hankyu), KB 01 (Shintetsu)) is a railway station operated by Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd., Hankyu Corporation and Kobe Electric Railway Co., Ltd. in the district of Shinkaichi, Hyogo-ku, Kobe opened on April 7, 1968. Kobe Rapid Transit Railway Co., Ltd. owns the railway lines, and Hanshin, Hankyu and Shintetsu operate trains running on the lines. Shinkaichi was originally at the heart of Kobe, but Kobe's central business district has shifted towards Sannomiya. All 3 railway lines that stop at this station are named Kobe Kosoku Line.
