Clinceni is a commune in the southwestern part of Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of three villages: Clinceni, Olteni and Ordoreanu. The location hosts a small airport. Currently, the village of Clinceni has the Guinness World Records for the biggest flag ever made. The flag, of Romania, weighs 5 tonnes (4.9 long tons; 5.5 short tons) and measures 349 metres (1,145 feet) by 227 m (745 ft). Work on the flag required 2 months and 70 kilometres (43 miles) of thread. Previously, Lebanon was the country with this record.

Cornetu is a commune in the south-west of Ilfov county, Muntenia, Romania. In Romanian, its name signifies a forest of European Cornel (Cornus mas) trees. It is composed of two villages, Buda and Cornetu.

Ciorogârla is a commune in the southwestern part of Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Ciorogârla and Dârvari. The Ciorogârla River flows through this location; its name, of Slavic origin, means "murky stream".

Dragomirești-Vale is a commune in the southwestern part of Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania. Its name is derived from Dragomir, a Romanian name of Slavic origin (from Драгомир, which means "precious and peaceful"), the suffix -ești, and noun Vale, which means "valley". A medium-size commune, it is composed of 3 villages: Dragomirești-Deal, Dragomirești-Vale and Zurbaua. It is situated near Bucharest, some 14 km (8.7 mi) away from the city centre and 4 km (2.5 mi) from the Bucharest–Pitești highway. The nearest airports are Henri Coandă International Airport, Otopeni (30 km away), and Aurel Vlaicu International Airport (25 km away).

Preciziei (eng. [of the] precision), formerly known as Industriilor is a terminus metro station in Bucharest. It is situated in the industrial park in the west of the city. Industrial facilities directly served by the metro station: Coca-Cola factory, Urbis. Other industrial facilities in the park can be reached by tram. The station is located on the Preciziei Avenue. This is the last stop on the M3 Line connecting Preciziei to Anghel Saligny. The station was opened on 19 August 1983 as part of the extension from Eroilor.

The Ilfov (not to be confused with the Ilfovăț) is a left tributary of the river Dâmbovița in Romania. The river has given its name to Ilfov County. Its source is in the hills west of Târgoviște. It flows through the villages Udrești, Bungetu, Ilfoveni, Mircea Vodă, Heleșteu, Răcari and Bâldana. It discharges into the Dâmbovița near Bâcu. Its length is 96 km (60 mi) and its basin size is 203 km2 (78 sq mi).

Ghencea is a district of the Romanian capital city Bucharest, in Sector 5. It is home to the famous sports club CSA Steaua București. Nearby districts are Drumul Taberei and Rahova.

Chiajna (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈkjaʒna]) is a commune in the south-west of Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania, immediately west of the capital, Bucharest. It is composed of three villages: Chiajna, Dudu and Roșu. The mayor of Chiajna is currently Mircea Minea (National Liberal Party).
