Port Liberté is a section of Jersey City located on Caven Point, formerly one of the last natural sand beaches on the Upper New York Bay. The community is a European style village located along the western side of Upper New York Bay. The community has canals, gardens, playgrounds, and a restaurant. The many luxury condominiums and townhouses offer views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. In addition, many of the residences have canals on the back making the village perfect for boating. Many of the canals are also lined with walkways, gardens, and docks. The Liberty National Golf Club and the Caven Point section of Liberty State Park neighbor the development on the north and east respectively, and are accessible via the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway.

Port Jersey, officially the Port Jersey Port Authority Marine Terminal and referred to as the Port Jersey Marine Terminal, is an intermodal freight transport facility that includes a container terminal located on the Upper New York Bay in the Port of New York and New Jersey. The municipal border of the Hudson County cities of Jersey City and Bayonne runs along the long pier extending into the bay.The facility was created between 1972 and 1976 and acquired by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in July 2010. Its major tenant is GCT Bayonne, a post-panamax shipping facility operated by Global Container Terminals.GCT Bayonne has been modernized. In May 2013 a 900 foot (270m) berth extension was completed, increasing the total dock face to 2,700 feet (820m) of contiguous berth, allowing the facility to handle the latest Suez Max vessels.Much of Port Jersey is part of United States Foreign-Trade Zone 49. Most of the area in and around the facility is restricted, though a walkway along its northern side is accessible to the general public and may eventually connect with the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. A very small bird sanctuary (specifically for the least tern) is also located on the promenade.

The Cape Liberty Cruise Port is one of three trans-Atlantic passenger terminals in the Port of New York and New Jersey. It is located in Bayonne, New Jersey at the north side of the 2 mi (3.2 km) long pier of the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor, a former military ocean terminal, and began operations in 2004.

Cochrane Stadium is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Jersey City, New Jersey. Opened in 1983, the stadium is located in the Ed "Faa" Ford Athletic Complex in the Caven Point area of Jersey City near Liberty State Park and Liberty National Golf Club. In 2008, the stadium's field was re-surfaced with FieldTurf six months after the previous playing surface was found to be contaminated with lead.Cochrane Stadium (often referred to as Caven Point due to the surrounding area) served as the home for the St. Peter's Peacocks football team until the school folded its program in 2007.Five Jersey City high schools (two Catholic, three public) currently share Cochrane Stadium. Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne (MOTBY) was a U.S. military ocean terminal located in the Port of New York and New Jersey which operated from 1967 to 1999. From 1942 to 1967 the site was the Bayonne Naval Drydock. The site is on Upper New York Bay south of Port Jersey on the eastern side of Bayonne, New Jersey. Since its closure, it has undergone maritime, residential, commercial, and recreational mixed-use development. Part of the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway runs along its perimeter.

To the Struggle Against World Terrorism (also known as the Tear of Grief and the Tear Drop Memorial) is a 10–story sculpture by Zurab Tsereteli that was given to the United States as an official gift from the Russian government as a memorial to the victims of the September 11 attacks in 2001, and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. It stands at the end of the former Military Ocean Terminal in Bayonne, New Jersey. Ceremonial groundbreaking occurred on September 16, 2005, in a ceremony attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The monument was dedicated on September 11, 2006, in a ceremony attended by former U.S. President Bill Clinton.

The Residences at Liberty National is an apartment complex concept in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. The Residences at Liberty National consists of Towers I, II, and III. Tower I will have 35 floors, Tower II will have 43 floors, and Tower III will have 50 floors. Towers I, and II and III were originally scheduled for completion in 2009 however construction was placed on hold and remains halted.

The 2017 Presidents Cup was the 12th edition of the Presidents Cup golf competition, played at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, from September 28 to October 1, 2017. Steve Stricker and Nick Price were the captains of the U.S. and the International teams, respectively.The United States were the defending champions and retained the trophy.President Trump presented U.S. Captain Steve Stricker with the trophy. He became the first Incumbent U.S President to do so.

Liberty National is a country club in Jersey City, New Jersey adjacent to Liberty State Park on the Upper New York Bay. Its clubhouse, guest villas, teaching center, and "Cafe 12" halfway house were designed by Lindsay Newman Architecture and Design and the course was designed by Robert E. Cupp and Tom Kite.The club cost over $250 million to build, making it one of the most expensive golf courses in history. Club designers added amenities such as an on-site helistop, yacht services, spa, and restaurant.

Danforth Avenue is a station on the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey. The station is located at the intersection of Danforth Avenue and Princeton Avenue in Greenville.

Bruce was a 1,200-ton sailing ship built in 1866 by Aitken Mansell of Glasgow, Scotland. In 1880 the Nourse Line purchased her from the British Shipowners Company.
