Cochrane Stadium is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Jersey City, New Jersey. Opened in 1983, the stadium is located in the Ed "Faa" Ford Athletic Complex in the Caven Point area of Jersey City near Liberty State Park and Liberty National Golf Club. In 2008, the stadium's field was re-surfaced with FieldTurf six months after the previous playing surface was found to be contaminated with lead.Cochrane Stadium (often referred to as Caven Point due to the surrounding area) served as the home for the St. Peter's Peacocks football team until the school folded its program in 2007.Five Jersey City high schools (two Catholic, three public) currently share Cochrane Stadium. The Residences at Liberty National is an apartment complex concept in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. The Residences at Liberty National consists of Towers I, II, and III. Tower I will have 35 floors, Tower II will have 43 floors, and Tower III will have 50 floors. Towers I, and II and III were originally scheduled for completion in 2009 however construction was placed on hold and remains halted.

Danforth Avenue is a station on the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey. The station is located at the intersection of Danforth Avenue and Princeton Avenue in Greenville.

Bayview Cemetery, previously called Greenville Cemetery, is located in Jersey City, New Jersey. It merged with New York Bay Cemetery and is now known as Bayview – New York Bay Cemetery.

Richard Street is a station on the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) located in the Greenville section of Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey. Located at the end of Richard Street next to the northeast end of Bayside Park, the station services local trains of the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail between 8th Street station in Bayonne and Hoboken Terminal. The station contains a single island platform and two tracks. The station is accessible for handicapped persons as part of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, with elevators and platform level matching with trains. The station opened on April 17, 2000 as part of the original operating segment of the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail.

Port Liberté is a section of Jersey City located on Caven Point, formerly one of the last natural sand beaches on the Upper New York Bay. The community is a European style village located along the western side of Upper New York Bay. The community has canals, gardens, playgrounds, and a restaurant. The many luxury condominiums and townhouses offer views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. In addition, many of the residences have canals on the back making the village perfect for boating. Many of the canals are also lined with walkways, gardens, and docks. The Liberty National Golf Club and the Caven Point section of Liberty State Park neighbor the development on the north and east respectively, and are accessible via the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway.

New York New Jersey Rail, LLC (reporting mark NYNJ) is a switching and terminal railroad that operates the only car float operation across Upper New York Bay between Jersey City, New Jersey and Brooklyn, New York. Since mid-November 2008, it has been owned by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which acquired it for about $16 million as a step in a process that might see a Cross-Harbor Rail Tunnel completed. Since freight trains are not allowed in Amtrak's North River Tunnels, and the Poughkeepsie Bridge was closed in 1974, the ferry is the only freight crossing of the Hudson River south of the Alfred H. Smith Memorial Bridge, 140 miles (230 km) to the north of New York City, in a process known as the Selkirk hurdle. It is the last remaining car float operation in the Port of New York and New Jersey.

The 2017 Presidents Cup was the 12th edition of the Presidents Cup golf competition, played at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, from September 28 to October 1, 2017. Steve Stricker and Nick Price were the captains of the U.S. and the International teams, respectively.The United States were the defending champions and retained the trophy.President Trump presented U.S. Captain Steve Stricker with the trophy. He became the first Incumbent U.S President to do so.

Liberty National is a country club in Jersey City, New Jersey adjacent to Liberty State Park on the Upper New York Bay. Its clubhouse, guest villas, teaching center, and "Cafe 12" halfway house were designed by Lindsay Newman Architecture and Design and the course was designed by Robert E. Cupp and Tom Kite.The club cost over $250 million to build, making it one of the most expensive golf courses in history. Club designers added amenities such as an on-site helistop, yacht services, spa, and restaurant.

Infinity Institute is a public middle school / high school located in the Greenville section of Jersey City, in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in sixth through twelfth grades as part of the Jersey City Public Schools. The school was established in September 2010 under the Jersey City Board of Education. As of the 2020–21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 479 students and 23.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 20.8:1. There were 238 students (49.7% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 46 (9.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

CREATE Charter High School was a four-year public high school that operated under a charter granted by the New Jersey Commissioner of Education. The school was run independently of the Jersey City Public Schools since it opened in September 2001 and was shut down in June 2010 after receiving notice from Acting Commissioner of Education Bret Schundler that the charter would be withdrawn as the school had failed to achieve its goals, including having less than 5% of graduating seniors reaching the proficient level on the language arts and mathematics components of the High School Proficiency Assessment.CREATE Charter High School was a public school open to all students on a space-available basis. The school also had a middle school, CREATE Charter Middle School, and was the only high school in the county to do so. Offering a 195-day school year with a school day extending from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, the school was founded by Jersey City Councilman Steve Lipski.

Curries Woods is a neighborhood in the southern part of Greenville in Jersey City, New Jersey bordering Bayonne. It was named after James Curie, who was on the town Committee for Greenville when it was its own Township in the 19th century. The area remained rural until the later part of the century when the Central Railroad of New Jersey built a line connecting ferries to Elizabeth, New Jersey and New York City. Currie's Woods still remained untouched through the late part of the century and it was valued for its woods, rocky shore and dunes on Newark Bay. A lot of the land was eventually lost, but a tract was set aside in the early part of the 20th century. A small cemetery, the Old Greenville Cemetery, was nearby. This park lost much of its land to the city's largest Housing Authority project in 1959, except a small tract in Bayonne, Mercer Park.
