Palowice

Zazdrość (German: Zasdrose) is a sołectwo in the west of Orzesze, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village but as a part of gmina Gardawice was administratively merged into Orzesze in 1975. It has an area of 1.5 km2 and about 1,203 inhabitants.

Orzesze [ɔˈʐɛʂɛ] (German: Orzesche, Silesian: Ôrzeszŏ) is a town in Silesia in southern Poland, near Katowice. Borders on the Upper Silesian Metropolitan Union – metropolis with the population of 2 million. Located in the Silesian Highlands. It is situated in the Silesian Voivodeship since its formation in 1999, previously in Katowice Voivodeship, and before then, of the Autonomous Silesian Voivodeship. Orzesze is one of the towns of the 2.7 million conurbation – Katowice urban area and within a greater Silesian metropolitan area populated by about 5,294,000 people. The population of the town is 21,043 (2019).

Woszczyce (German: Woschczytz) is a sołectwo in the south west of Orzesze, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village but was, as a part of gmina Gardawice, administratively merged into Orzesze in 1975. It has an area of 18.7 km² and about 1,230 inhabitants.

Gardawice (German: Gardawitz) is a dzielnica in of Orzesze, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village and in the years 1945-1954 and 1973-1975 it was seat of gmina, which was administratively merged into Orzesze in 1975. It has an area of 7.7 km² and about 1940 inhabitants.

Zawiść (German: Zawisc) is a sołectwo in the east of Orzesze, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village but as a part of gmina Gardawice was administratively merged into Orzesze in 1975. It has an area of 6.6 km² and about 1,933 inhabitants.

Bełk [bɛu̯k] (German: Belk) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czerwionka-Leszczyny, within Rybnik County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south of Czerwionka-Leszczyny, 13 km (8 mi) north-east of Rybnik, and 25 km (16 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice. The village has an area of 15.43 km2 and a population of 3,358.

Królówka (German: Kralowka) is a sołectwo in the south of Orzesze, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village but was, as a part of gmina Gardawice, administratively merged into Orzesze in 1975. It has an area of 5.6 km² and about 260 inhabitants.

The Budryk coal mine is a large mine in the south of Poland in Ornontowice, Silesian Voivodeship, 320 km south-west of the capital, Warsaw. Budryk represents one of the largest coal reserve in Poland having estimated reserves of 235.5 million tonnes of coal. The annual coal production is around 5 million tonnes.

National road 81 (Polish: Droga krajowa nr 81) is a route belonging to the Polish national road network. The highway connects Katowice with Skoczów, the whole stretch lies within Silesian Voivodeship. In 1985 the numbering system was reorganized. The route from Katowice to Skoczów was numbered as DK 93 until 2000, after which it was renumbered to DK 81 (the section from Skoczów to Wisła is now DW 941).

Dębieńsko (German: Dubensko) is a dzielnica (district) of Czerwionka-Leszczyny, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village, but became administratively part of Leszczyny in 1977, renamed to Czerwionka-Leszczyny in 1992. Its seat is the village of Ornontowice, which lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Mikołów and 19 km (12 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice. The gmina covers an area of 15.1 square kilometres (5.8 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 6,134.

Ornontowice [ɔrnɔntɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in Mikołów County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Ornontowice. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Mikołów and 19 km (12 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice. The village has a population of 5,556.
