Ivanec Bistranski is a naselje (settlement) in the town of Zaprešić, Zagreb County, Croatia. According to the 2011 census, it has 937 inhabitants living in an area of 6.65 square kilometers (2.57 sq mi).

Orešje is a settlement (naselje) in the Sveta Nedelja administrative territory of Zagreb County, Croatia. As of 2011, it had a population of 1,043 persons.

Zaprešić (pronounced [zâːpreʃitɕ]) is a town in Hrvatsko zagorje, Zagreb County in Croatia. It has a population of 19,644 inhabitants in the town proper, with 25,223 in the administrative area. The town's metropolitan area, which encompasses the seven neighbouring municipalities, has a population of 54,640. Zaprešić is the third-largest, and most densely populated town of the county. It is located northwest of the Croatian capital Zagreb, and near the Slovenian border. It is centered on plains north of the Sava River, and is bordered by Medvednica Mountain to the east, and the Marija Gorica Hills to the west. The first human settlement in, and near Zaprešić dates from the Neolithic, and several Roman roads were constructed in the area. Vicinity to transport corridors is also reflected in the meaning of the name (za, 'near or behind', prešće 'crossing'). The first records of the settlement date from 1474. (although, some authors claim that the church of Saint Peter in Zaprešić could have been mentioned in a document supposedly written in 1334). In the late medieval and early modern times, the village history includes being a part of a feudal estate Susedgrad, as well of being a part of Brdovec parish. During the 19th century the town was operating the first meat packaging plant in Croatia. However, it was not formally established as a town until 1995. The town is governed by a mayor, a town government of seven members (upper house), and a town council of twenty one (lower house). Zaprešić has its own fire department, but police coverage is provided by the City of Zagreb. Komunalno poduzeće Zaprešić manages all utilities except electricity. Tap water in Zaprešić is of high quality. Due to its many rail, and road transport corridors, Zaprešić has been dubbed the "northwestern gate to Zagreb County". It lies directly next to the A2 highway connecting Zagreb to Central Europe. It also is adjacent to the main railway leading northwest out of Zagreb. Centered on the tertiary sector, the town's economy is booming due to a large population influx. Zaprešić's educational facilities range from kindergartens to centers of higher education. The town is home to four elementary schools, one high school, and two universities. The Zaprešić metropolitan area contains six castles that together make up what is known as the "palace path." The town also has a museum and an art gallery. The most popular sport in the region is football, and the local team was NK Inter Zaprešić, that used to be a member of the First Football League of Croatia. Other sports are also present in Zaprešić, and the town is home to a golf resort.

Žitarka is a settlement (naselje) in the Sveta Nedelja administrative territory of Zagreb County, Croatia. As of 2011 it had a population of 239 people.

Javornica kod Bizeka is the second longest cave on the Medvednica massif, at 330 m: 12  or 306 m,: 75  depending on the method of measurement. It is adjacent to the Bizek rock quarry, which endangered and partly destroyed it.: 38 

Susedgrad Castle (Hungarian: Szomszédvár), or earlier also only Sused, is a ruined medieval fortress on the far-western hill of mount Medvednica, while also marking the far-western part of modern-day Zagreb, Croatia.

Jankomir (Croatian pronunciation: [ˈjɑŋkomiːr]) is a neighborhood in Zagreb, Croatia. It is located in the Stenjevec city district in the western part of the city, and is officially referred to as "Stenjevec - jug", with an area of 824.34 ha (2,037.0 acres) and a population of 8,072.Jankomir is regarded citywide as a shopping destination since it houses several shopping centers. Its main arterial roads are Velimir Škorpik Road, Ljubljanska Avenue and Zagrebačka Avenue. Before the advent of the shopping centers Jankomir was mostly known for the nearby Jankomir interchange, a major interchange of the Zagreb bypass and Ljubljanska Avenue. Jankomir is also home to a psychiatric hospital of the same name.

Ivan Laljak-Ivić Stadium (Croatian: Stadion Ivan Laljak-Ivić) is a football stadium inside the sports complex ŠRC Zaprešić in Zaprešić, Croatia. The primary user of this stadium is a football club NK Inker Zaprešić. The stadium has a capacity of 5,228.

Ferdinand Budicki Automobile Museum (Croatian: Muzej automobila "Ferdinand Budicki") is an automobile museum in Zagreb, Croatia, the first one in the country. It is located on Zaprešićka 2, Jablanovec as a part of the Westgate shopping center. It was opened on 3 July 2013 (2013-07-03), and features more than 100 antique and classic cars, motorcycles and bicycles, as well as several thousand photos from family albums of first Croatian drivers.The museum was founded by car enthusiast Valentino Valjak, and named after Ferdinand Budicki, owner of the first car to drive through Zagreb streets, in April 1901. Among the museum's exhibits are a 1916 truck from Prague, the oldest in Croatia, an expensive Jaguar E-Type, a 1922 Ford Model T, a rare 1967 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow worth more than €100,000, a Citroën 2CV, known locally as "spaček" and a Zastava 750 ("fićo"), as well as a blue ZET tram. It also showcases the history of automobilism in Croatia through photographs and several hours of documentary film.The museum took part in the 2015 Museum Night, bringing in 14,500 visitors. On 17 April 2015, it started to organise a weekly car exhibition on Britain Square in the city centre. Its first non-permanent exhibition lasted from September 1 to November 1 and featured six Citroën 2CV cars in honour of the 65th anniversary of 2CV.

King Cross Jankomir is a shopping centre located in Zagreb, Croatia, on Velimir Škorpik Street 34 in the neighbourhood of Jankomir. It was financed by Coimpredil and Coop Consumatori Nordest and opened on 21 September 2002. The shopping centre has a gross area of 110,000 m2 (1,200,000 sq ft), 43,000 m2 (460,000 sq ft) of which is covered, and 29,000 m2 (310,000 sq ft) of retail space. At the time of its opening, it was the largest shopping centre in Croatia. The shopping centre cost €67 million to build, and its investors partly funded the upgrade of the adjoining road infrastructure.The shopping centre suffered a 20% loss in revenue and was rumoured to be the first centre in the city to close (and possibly be converted into a warehouse) due to the late 2000s recession. Nevertheless, it remained in business.

The Jankomir interchange (Croatian: Čvor Jankomir) is a cloverleaf interchange west of Zagreb, Croatia. It is named after nearby Zagreb neighborhood of Jankomir. The interchange represents the southern terminus of the A2 motorway and it connects the A2 route to the A3 motorway representing major a link in the Croatian motorway system. The interchange is a part of Pan-European corridors X and Xa. It also represents a junction of European routes E59 and E70.Construction of the interchange marked start of construction of the A3 motorway in its present form. In 1979, it became a part of the first six-lane (including emergency lanes) section, constructed as a part of the Zagreb bypass—5.85-kilometre (3.64 mi) section connecting the Jankomir and Lučko interchanges. At the time of construction, the interchange connected the new Zagreb bypass to former Brotherhood and Unity Highway which linked Zagreb to Slovenian border and a two-lane road to Krapina. The former was subsequently upgraded to become a part of the A3 motorway (west of the interchange) and Ž1035—four-lane connector to Zagreb, while the latter was upgraded and became the A2 motorway.

Novi Dvori of Zaprešić, or Novi Dvori of Jelačić, is a feudal estate in the northwestern part of Zaprešić, Croatia. The estate consists of a castle, an old granary renovated into a museum, a circular threshing machine, a neo-gothic chapel and the Jelačić family tomb.
