The Church of St. Peter is a parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located in Staten Island, New York City in the neighborhood of New Brighton. St. Peter's is the oldest of the 36 Roman Catholic parishes on Staten Island, having been established in 1839, before the second-oldest St. Mary's (1852) and the third-oldest St. Joseph's (1855).

Christ Church New Brighton (Episcopal) is a historic Episcopal church complex at 76 Franklin Avenue in New Brighton, Staten Island, New York. The complex consists of a Late Victorian Gothic church (1904) and parish hall, connected to the church by an enclosed cloister, and a Tudor-style rectory (built 1879 and remodeled in 1909).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

New Brighton is a neighborhood located on the North Shore of Staten Island in New York City. The neighborhood comprises an older industrial and residential harbor front area along the Kill Van Kull west of St. George. New Brighton is bounded by Kill Van Kull on the north, Jersey Street on the east, Brighton and Castleton Avenues to the south, and Lafayette Avenue and Snug Harbor Cultural Center to the west. It is adjacent to St. George to the east, Tompkinsville to the south, and West New Brighton to the west. The village of New Brighton was incorporated in 1866 out of six wards of the town of Castleton. It originally stretched four miles (6.4 km) long and was two miles (3.2 km) wide, encompassing the entire northeast tip of the island from Tompkinsville to Snug Harbor, and included what is now St. George. The current neighborhood includes Hamilton Park, an enclave of Victorian homes built before the American Civil War. The surrounding area includes several older churches such as St. Peter's Church, the oldest Roman Catholic church on Staten Island. The original New Brighton Village Hall, constructed in 1871 on present Fillmore Street, was demolished in 2004. New Brighton public housing includes the Cassidy-Laffayette Houses and the Richmond Terrace Houses on Jersey Street. New Brighton is part of Staten Island Community District 1 and its ZIP Codes are 10304 and 10301. New Brighton is patrolled by the 120th Precinct of the New York City Police Department.

Hamilton Park Community Houses are three historic homes located at New Brighton, Staten Island, New York. The Pritchard House (66 Harvard Ave., c. 1853) is a large, 2-story "L" shaped brick building coated with rusticated stucco. No 32 Park Place (c. 1865) is a 2-story, brick dwelling with a mansard roof. It features an Italianate style cornice. The Hamilton Park Cottage (105 Franklin Ave., ca. 1860s) is a 2+1⁄2-story red brick house. It features central triple arched porch over the main entrance.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

St. Peter's Girls High School was an all-girls, private, Roman Catholic high school on Staten Island in New York City, located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York.

One Pendleton Place, also known as the William S. Pendleton House, is a historic home located in the New Brighton neighborhood of Staten Island, New York. It was built in 1860, and is a three-story, picturesque Italianate villa style frame dwelling with a multi-gabled roof. It features asymmetrical massing, a four-story conical-roofed entry tower, and multiple porches including a wrap-around verandah.It was designated a New York City Landmark in 2006, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

New Brighton Village Hall was a historic village hall located at New Brighton, Staten Island, New York. It was built between 1868 and 1871 in the Second Empire style. It was a three-story brick building with a mansard roof sheathed with gray slate shingles.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.Due to neglect, it was torn down in February 2004 and replaced with a residential building.

It connects to a 6.5 mile, 345-kilovolt power line under the Upper New York Bay connecting with a Consolidated Edison substation in Gowanus in Brooklyn, New York which is the longest XLPE cable in the world.The submarine cable portion of the project is one of the most deeply buried submarine cables at 15 feet below New Jersey-New York Harbor bottom. On behalf of the Project, regulator permit applications were prepared and submitted to the New York State Department of Public Service (Article VII), the US Army Corps of Engineers New York District (Sections 10/404), the New York Department of Environmental Conservation, the New York Department of State, and the New York Office of General Services.In 2014, Hess relinquished it interest in the plant to ArcLight. which later sold it to Macquarie Infrastructure Company

Fort Hill Park (formerly Fort Knyphausen) is a .845-acre public green space located in the St. George neighborhood of Staten Island, New York. It is located on the slope of the northernmost hilltop on the Dongan Hills ridge. During the American Revolutionary War, the borough was a stronghold of the loyalist movement, welcoming General William Howe’s occupying army in August 1776. At the summit of Fort Hill, Prussian general Wilhelm von Knyphausen (1716–1800) founded an earthen redoubt (along with the King's Orange Rangers). In honor of its commander, the structure carried the name Fort Knyphausen for the duration of the Revolutionary War.In January 1780, Von Knyphausen successfully repelled an American assault against the fort. The fort also served as a base of operations in raids launched against American positions in New Jersey. Following the British evacuation of Staten Island in November 1783, the fort was abandoned, with its square base later used as a reservoir. The parcel that became Fort Hill Park remained undeveloped as a result of its topography. The City purchased the property, and it was dedicated as a park on August 2, 2004. In 2008, the blue indigo granite and bluestone capstone wall was restored, along with a bluestone sidewalk to enhance the historic appearance of the park.

Neville House (also known as the Tysen-Neville House) is a historic home located at New Brighton, Staten Island, New York. It was built about 1770 and is constructed of red, quarried sandstone. It is in two sections: a 2+1⁄2-story main section and 1+1⁄2-story east wing, each covered by a gable roof. It features a 2-story verandah.It was designated as a NYC Landmark in 1967. It was also added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Ralph R. McKee Career & Technical Education High School, commonly called McKee or Ralph McKee High School, is located in Staten Island, New York City at 290 Saint Marks Place. The main entrance is located on Belmont Place. The school is operated by the New York City Department of Education. Ralph McKee is the only Career and Technical Education (CTE) high school on Staten Island. It offers a range of CTE (shop) sequences: Automotive Technology, Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Graphic Arts, Information Technology, and Pre-Engineering. The school opened in 1920, and was named for Ralph R. McKee shortly after his death in 1935. McKee attended Princeton University class of 1887 and served 14 years on the New York City Board of Education.
