RAF Barton Bendish

Barton Bendish is a civil parish and small village in the English county of Norfolk 10 miles (16 km) south of King's Lynn and 90 miles (140 km) northeast of London. It has two medieval parish churches, and once had three. The parish includes the hamlet of Eastmoor, and covers 3,936 acres (1,593 ha). The village has been settled since Neolithic times and was expanded during the Saxon period. It had a population of 210 in the 2010 census and contains eight listed buildings, with the two medieval parishes churches being Grade I.

The church stands in an isolated position to the west of the village.

Boughton Fen is a 15.7-hectare (39-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Downham Market in Norfolk, England. it is common land registered to Boughton Parish Council. This valley in a tributary of the River Wissey is covered by tall fen over most of the site, together with areas of scrub which provide a habitat for breeding birds. There are many uncommon species of moths, including the rare Perizoma sagittaria. There is access to the site from Oxborough Road.

Oxborough is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk, well known for its church and manor house Oxburgh Hall. It covers an area of 13.024 km2 (5.029 sq mi) and had a population of 240 in 106 households in the 2001 census, reducing to a population of 228 in 111 households at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of Breckland. The villages name means 'Ox fortification’. The Oxborough dirk, a Bronze Age ceremonial oversize dagger was discovered nearby in 1988. It was acquired for the nation and is now on display in the British Museum.

Oxburgh Hall is a moated country house in Oxborough, Norfolk, England. The hall was built for Sir Edmund Bedingfeld who obtained a licence to crenellate in 1482. The Bedingfelds gained the manor of Oxborough through marriage in the early 15th century, and the family has lived at the hall since its construction, although ownership passed to the National Trust in 1952. The house underwent extensive refurbishment in the mid 19th century under John Chessell Buckler and Augustus Pugin.

Royal Air Force Marham, commonly abbreviated RAF Marham (IATA: KNF, ICAO: EGYM) is a Royal Air Force station and military airbase near the village of Marham in the English county of Norfolk, East Anglia. It is home to No. 138 Expeditionary Air Wing (138 EAW) and, as such, is one of the RAF's 'main operating bases' (MOB). Since 6 June 2018, it has been home to the fifth generation Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning operated by No. 617 (Dambusters) Squadron. No. 207 Squadron, becoming the second Lightning squadron to be based at RAF Marham when it reformed on 1 August 2019 as the F-35 operational conversion unit (OCU).

Beachamwell is a village and civil parish in the Breckland district of Norfolk, England about 5 miles (8.0 km) south west of Swaffham and 10 miles (16 km) east of Downham Market. It has four ancient churches, two of them in ruins. The former parish of Shingham is now part of the parish. The name as spelt is the official one, but the alternative Beechamwell is found in modern publications as well as in historical sources. The correct spelling was a source of dispute in the village, until a parish council meeting in 1977 decided the matter.

Stoke Ferry is a closed railway station in Norfolk. It was the terminus of a 7+1⁄4-mile (11.7 km) branch line from Denver which opened on 1 August 1882 and finally closed to all traffic in 1965.

It is no longer used for church services and was owned by Kit Hesketh-Harvey until his death in 2023. The village has many small businesses such as two takeaway shops, a hairdresser, wood yard, DIY hardware shop & metalworks workshop, funeral directors, and a corner shop. There is also a thriving community-owned pub, The Blue Bell Pub-Cafe which was bought by the local community on 30 June 2021 and, after extensive refurbishment reopened on 4 June 2022. Stoke Ferry Hall is a Grade II* listed building.
