Pylaia (Greek: Πυλαία) is a former municipality in the Thessaloniki Prefecture of Greece. In the 2011 local government reform, Thessaloniki Prefecture became the regional unit of Thessaloniki (without boundary changes), and Pylaia became a part of the new municipality of Pylaia-Chortiatis. Pylaia continues under its old boundaries as a municipal unit within Pylaia-Chortiatis.Pylaia covers 24.379 km2 with 4.5 km of coastline extending along the shores of the Thermaic Gulf and had a population of 34,625 at the 2011 census. Pylaia is relatively sparsely populated for a municipal unit within the Thessaloniki Urban Area.

Anastaseos tou Kyriou (Greek: Αναστάσεως του Κυρίου, English: Resurrection of Lord) is a public cemetery in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is located about 10 km East from the center of Thessaloniki and belongs to the Municipality of Pylaia. It is divided in two parts (left and right) and in the middle there is a Greek Orthodox church as well as small funeral rooms.

Anaximander (31st) High School of Thessaloniki or Anaximander High School (No. 31) of Thessaloniki or Anaximander High School, commonly referred to among its students as 31st, is a public senior high school (general lyceum) in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is operated by the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports. It is one of the most prestigious public high schools in Thessaloniki metropolitan area. It is named after the pre-Socratic Greek philosopher Anaximander. Anaximander (31st) High School of Thessaloniki is part of the Directorate of Secondary Education of East Thessaloniki Schools system. The majority of the students come from the 2nd Middle School of Charilaou and 4th Middle School of Charilaou. It was established as the Charilaou All-Girls High School in 1975 and became the 2nd High School of Charilaou in 1979. It was renamed to its current name in 1999.The current principal of Anaximander (31st) High School is Maria Α. Naoumidou. Before being appointed in 2018, Naoumidou was the principal of 4th Middle School of Charilaou. There are 3 orientation groups - departments including 3 subjects each: (I) Humanities and Social Sciences, (II) Sciences and Health Sciences and (III) Economic and Computer Studies. The school is located at 79 Anaximander Road, Thessaloniki, in the Trohiodromikon neighbourhood near Nea Elvetia Park and Thessaloniki Metro station.

The American Farm School (Greek: Αμερικανική Γεωργική Σχολή) is an independent, nonprofit educational institution located in Thessaloniki, Greece. The school was founded in 1904 by American missionary John Henry House to serve the rural population of Greece and the Balkans. The current major educational divisions include the Secondary School, Perrotis College (Κολλέγιο Περρωτής), the Primary School Program, the department of Adult Education & Research and the Greek Summer program. The school's mission is "to educate men and women, especially those from Greece and the Balkans, to become professionally accomplished in the latest aspects of agriculture and the life sciences."

The Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium (Greek: Στάδιο Κλεάνθης Βικελίδης) or Charilaou Ground (Γήπεδο Χαριλάου) is a football stadium in Thessaloniki, Greece. It was built in 1951 as the home stadium of Aris F.C. (Thessaloniki), one of the most popular football clubs in Greece. For many years, the ground's official name was Aris Stadium, until it was renamed in honour of Kleanthis Vikelidis, a legendary player of Aris FC in the 1930s. However, most commonly referred to as "Charilaou Stadium", after the district in which it was built. The stadium's capacity was 23,200 although it got limited to 22,800 after the renovations for the 2004 Summer Olympics, where it served as a training ground for Football at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Its facilities include dressing rooms, a gym, a swimming pool, VIP boxes, a VIP lounge, a restaurant with pitch view and press rooms. The capacity of the stadium is 22,800.

Toumba Stadium (Greek: Στάδιο Τούμπας) is a football stadium in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is property of AC PAOK. The official name of the stadium is simply PAOK Stadium (Greek: Στάδιο ΠΑΟΚ), but through the years it has become synonymous with the borough it is built at, the borough of Toumba.

Nea Elvetia (Greek: Νέα Ελβετία, literally New Switzerland) is an under-construction metro station serving Thessaloniki Metro's Line 1. It will serve as the eastern terminus of the line and is expected to enter service in 2020. The Pylaia depot lies east of Nea Elvetia station. The oldest proposal for a station at this general location goes back to 1918, when it was proposed as a terminus for a Metropolitan Railway line essentially running the same route as the current Line 1. The main difference with the current station is that the 1918 proposal listed an overground station, whereas this station is underground. Nea Elvetia station also appears in the 1988 Thessaloniki Metro proposal.

Panorama (Greek: Πανόραμα) is a suburb in the Thessaloniki regional unit, Macedonia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pylaia-Chortiatis, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. Panorama has a population of 18,000 and is located at the foot of Mount Chortiatis. The municipal unit has an area of 21.321 km2.

Pylaia-Chortiatis (Greek: Πυλαία-Χορτιάτης) is a municipality in the Thessaloniki regional unit, Central Macedonia, Greece, consisting of three suburbs of Thessaloniki. The seat of the municipality is Panorama. The municipality has an area of 155.63 km2.

Toumba (Greek: Τούμπα) is a district in eastern Thessaloniki, Greece. It is densely built-up and is divided into Ano Toumba and Kato Toumba (Upper and Lower Toumba) by a flume, and it is part of 4th Division of Thessaloniki Municipality. In archaeology the term Toumba stands for the mounds created by prehistoric settlements. They were mistaken for barrows, hence the name that is derived from the word Tomb, but excavations show that they are tells. The mound that rises in the area gave the neighbourhood its name.

Charilaou (Greek: Χαριλάου) is a district in eastern Thessaloniki, Greece. The district was named after the banker and entrepreneur Epameinontas Charilaos, the landowner in the area, who had origins from the Ainos of Thrace. There is also the Ainou square named after this town. It is densely built-up and located above the Dépôt area and near Toumba and Pylaia. Its main street is Papanastasiou Street where is also located Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium.
