Chitlapakkam aeri, or Chitlapakkam lake, is an urban lake located in Chitlapakkam, Chennai, India. It is the chief water body in the neighbourhood. Originally measuring 86.86 acres, the lake has currently shrunken to 46.88 acres. The lake was last restored in 2003.

Chennai Om Sri Skandashramam is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Murugan (Swaminatha Swami) in Chennai, India. It is located at Selaiyur, Tambaram, a southern neighbourhood of Chennai. There is also an idol of Saint Sathguru Santhananda Swamigal, who built the temple.

The temple currently also has a dedicated sanctum for Lord Rama positioned opposite to Lord Anjaneyar within the temple. There is a masjid (mosque) in vallal syed yusuf nagar.

Masjid-e-Anwari is a mosque situated in the suburb of Rajakilpakkam between Velachery and Tambaram, it comes under Sembakkam Municipality situated on the outskirts of Chennai, India. The mosque was constructed by Nawab Zulfiqar Khan, an officer in the Mughal army in 1703.

The Anna University–K. B. Chandrasekhar Research Centre (AU–KBC) is located in the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) campus. The centre was founded by K.B. Chandrasekhar, an MIT alumnus and the co-founder of Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. The AU–KBC Research Centre is a public–private research centre in India, formed through the partnership between a wholly for-profit company (KBC Research Foundation Private Limited, KBCRF) and a state institution (Anna University). The centre's original goal, when it had its own employees, was to foster research and create products of international quality. Its current goal is to create revenue for KBCRF and its sister for-profit concerns.
