Robinson's Warehouse (grid reference ST585725) is a warehouse on Bathurst Parade, on the Floating Harbour in Bristol, England. It was built in 1874 by William Bruce Gingell, and is an example of the Bristol Byzantine style with yellow and red brick and Moorish arches.It was formerly the warehouse of Robinson's Oil Seed Manufactory, and has also been known as Warriner's Warehouse. It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II listed building.

Bristol General Hospital (sometimes referred to as BGH or Bristol General) was a healthcare facility in Guinea Street, Harbourside, Bristol, in the south west of England. It opened in 1832, and closed in 2012. The BGH was managed by the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The building has since been converted into apartments.

Redcliffe Caves are a series of man made tunnels beneath the Redcliffe area of Bristol, England. The Triassic red sandstone was dug into in the Middle ages to provide sand for glass making and pottery production. Further excavation took place from the 17th to early 19th centuries and used for storage of trade goods. There is some evidence that prisoners captured during the French Revolutionary Wars or Napoleonic Wars were imprisoned in the caves but it is clear that the local folklore that slaves were imprisoned in the caves during the Bristol slave trade is false. After the closure of the last glass factory the caves were used for storage and became a rubbish dump. The caves are not generally open but have been used for film and music events. The explored and mapped area covers over 1 acre (0.40 ha) however several areas are no longer accessible and the total extent of the caves is not known.

Thekla is a former cargo ship moored in the Mud Dock area of Bristol's Floating Harbour, England. The ship was built in Germany in 1958 and worked in the coastal trades. In 1982 the ship was bought by Ki Longfellow-Stanshall, the wife of Vivian Stanshall, refitted, and brought to Bristol in 1983 as the Old Profanity Showboat. It was used as a theatre to showcase music of every sort, including cabaret, comedy, plays, musicals, and poetry events. The ship also contained an art gallery. The living quarters were home for Vivian, Ki, their daughter, Silky Longfellow-Stanshall, and Ki's daughter, Sydney Longfellow, as well as a few key personnel. During the 1990s, under new management, it was run as a rent-a-nightclub. The ship has now been returned to its original working name of Thekla and is run as a night club and venue for various bands by Daybrook House Promotions.

Prince Street Bridge is a swing bridge across Bristol Harbour. It is now Grade II listed. The bridge carries a road from Prince Street to Wapping Road and is located between the Arnolfini art centre and M Shed museum. The iron swing bridge was built in 1879 on the site of the ancient Gib ferry owned by the Dean and Chapter of Bristol Cathedral. It replaced a previous bridge built in 1809. In the 19th century tolls were charged for traffic over the bridge, with the toll house being burnt during the Bristol Riots of 1831.The swing bridge is operated by water hydraulic power provided by the adjacent engine house and accumulator tower.Repair work led to the closure of the bridge between 2015 and 2017. Fewer than 2,000 motor vehicle movements now cross the bridge per day using one side, whilst over 24,000 pedestrians and cyclists use the other. This has led pressure groups to call for the bridge to be closed to cars permanently.

Queen Square House is an historic building situated in Queen Square, Bristol, England. Originally constructed in 1889 to the plans of William Venn Gough, as the Port of Bristol Authority Docks Office, it is in a richly decorated Classical style with a roof in the French Empire style.It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II listed building.The building Was built using terracotta made by Gibbs and Canning of Tamworth. This is recorded in the Bristol mercury of 6 May 1886 - "The front, which is faced with buff terracotta and red brick...internally...buff terracotta, panels of pink terracotta containing symbolical figures being introduced into the dados..and the terracotta by Gibbs and Canning of Tamworth."

The Sailors Refuge is an historic house situated at 27–29 Queen Square, Bristol, England. It dates from 1709–1710 and is one of the few remaining houses from the original construction of the square. It was one of the architecturally richer houses, and provides an example of what the more demanding segment of houseowners required.It is built in an early Georgian naive Palladian style. The classical orders on the facade, though they are conventionally ordered from bottom to top, in the sequence Doric, Ionic, Corinthian, are placed so naively that they have no architectural relationship to the pediments over the windows or the cornice. The lack of any visible support for the window pediments, in the form of columns or projecting architraves, is similarly naive, and not in accord with proper architectural usage.It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building.

The New Gaol (also sometimes known as The Old City Gaol) is in Cumberland Road, Spike Island, Bristol, England, near Bristol Harbour.

Arnolfini is an international arts centre and gallery in Bristol, England. It has a programme of contemporary art exhibitions, artist's performance, music and dance events, poetry and book readings, talks, lectures and cinema. There is also a specialist art bookshop and a café bar. Educational activities are undertaken and experimental digital media work supported by online resources. Festivals are hosted by the gallery. The gallery was founded in 1961 by Jeremy Rees, and was located in Clifton. In the 1970s it moved to Queen Square, before moving to its present location, Bush House on Bristol's waterfront, in 1975. The name of the gallery is taken from Jan van Eyck's 15th-century painting The Arnolfini Portrait. Arnolfini was refurbished and redeveloped in 1989 and 2005. Artists whose work has been exhibited include Bridget Riley, Rachel Whiteread, Richard Long and Jack Yeats. Performers have included Goat Island Performance Group, the Philip Glass Ensemble, and Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company. The gallery reached a new audience in April 2010, when it was chosen to host one of the three 2010 general election debates.

Bedminster Bridge is a road bridge in Bristol, England, that crosses the New Cut of the River Avon. There are actually two adjacent parallel bridges, the Bedminster Old Bridge downstream and the Bedminster New Bridge upstream, which form part of a gyratory system carrying the A38 road. The Old Bridge dates back to 1883, when it replaced the previous Harford’s Bridge, and was grade II listed in 1994. The New Bridge was added in the 1960s.The Old Bridge is built of iron and pennant stone, with a shallow, elliptical arch. The sides have an iron cross lattice with applied flower casts and vertical chain-moulded struts, and above it a balustrade of interwoven ropes beneath a heavy rope handrail. At either side are abutments, surmounted by panelled ashlar piers to the balustrades.The original Harford’s Bridge was a cast iron bridge built in 1809 at the time of the construction of the New Cut. During the demolition of Harford's Bridge and the construction of Bedminster Old Bridge, a temporary bridge was erected alongside. Once it had fulfilled its purpose, the temporary bridge was lifted off its base by two barges on a rising tide, and moved upstream to a new location, where it still exists as the Langton Street Bridge.

Pyronaut (originally Bristol Phoenix II) is a specialised form of fireboat known as a fire-float. It was built in 1934 by Charles Hill & Sons Ltd., Albion Dock Bristol, Yard No. 208. Registered number 333833. She is owned by Bristol Museums and based at M Shed in Bristol's Floating Harbour. Originally powered by two Petter Atomic diesel engines rates at 55 bhp (41 kW) each. Two Merryweather & Sons three-cylinder reciprocating pumps capable of delivering 500 imperial gallons (2,300 L; 600 US gal) of water per minute. This equipment was replaced in 1968 by two Ruston & Hornsby 6YDM six-cylinder diesel engines rated at 90 bhp (67 kW) each, driving screw propellers from the front power-take-off, and Coventry Climax centrifugal pumps capable of delivering 1,000 imperial gallons (4,500 L; 1,200 US gal) of water per minute from the main drive.

Boleh (the name means "Can do" in Malay) is a junk yacht built in Singapore in 1948-9 by Commander Robin Kilroy DSC Royal Navy, and now based in Chichester Harbour and operated along the South coast of England by the Boleh Trust.
