Queen Square House is an historic building situated in Queen Square, Bristol, England. Originally constructed in 1889 to the plans of William Venn Gough, as the Port of Bristol Authority Docks Office, it is in a richly decorated Classical style with a roof in the French Empire style.It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II listed building.The building Was built using terracotta made by Gibbs and Canning of Tamworth. This is recorded in the Bristol mercury of 6 May 1886 - "The front, which is faced with buff terracotta and red brick...internally...buff terracotta, panels of pink terracotta containing symbolical figures being introduced into the dados..and the terracotta by Gibbs and Canning of Tamworth."

The equestrian statue of William III is a historic statue in the centre of Queen Square in Bristol, England. It is a Grade I listed building.The statue of William III by John Michael Rysbrack, cast in 1733 and erected in 1736 to signify Bristol's Whig support of the Crown and Parliament Recognition Act 1689. The original plan was to have a statue of George II.During World War II the statue was moved to Badminton and subsequently restored and returned to the square in 1948.The bronze statue is on a Portland ashlar pedestal with a moulded plinth and cornice. It depicts the king in Roman dress.

Queen Square is a 2.4 hectares (5.9 acres) Georgian square in the centre of Bristol, England. Following the 1831 riot, Queen Square declined through the latter part of the 19th century, was threatened with a main line railway station, but then bisected by a dual carriageway in the 1930s. By 1991 20,000 vehicles including scheduled buses were crossing the square every day, and over 30% of the buildings around it were vacant.In 1999, a successful bid for National Lottery funding allowed Queen Square to be restored to its approximate 1817 layout. The buses were diverted, the dual carriageway was removed, forecourts and railings were restored, and Queen Square re-emerged as a magnificent public space surrounded by high quality commercial accommodation.

Thekla is a former cargo ship moored in the Mud Dock area of Bristol's Floating Harbour, England. The ship was built in Germany in 1958 and worked in the coastal trades. In 1982 the ship was bought by Ki Longfellow-Stanshall, the wife of Vivian Stanshall, refitted, and brought to Bristol in 1983 as the Old Profanity Showboat. It was used as a theatre to showcase music of every sort, including cabaret, comedy, plays, musicals, and poetry events. The ship also contained an art gallery. The living quarters were home for Vivian, Ki, their daughter, Silky Longfellow-Stanshall, and Ki's daughter, Sydney Longfellow, as well as a few key personnel. During the 1990s, under new management, it was run as a rent-a-nightclub. The ship has now been returned to its original working name of Thekla and is run as a night club and venue for various bands by Daybrook House Promotions.

Langton House or Langton Mansion located at 12, Welsh Back, Bristol, was a Jacobean house, built by John Langton, a merchant of Bristol who became mayor of the city in 1628. It is notable for its elaborate interiors. The house was demolished in 1906, but much of the internal fittings survive, mostly at New Place, a house in Hampshire designed by Edwin Lutyens.

Redcliffe Caves are a series of man made tunnels beneath the Redcliffe area of Bristol, England. The Triassic red sandstone was dug into in the Middle ages to provide sand for glass making and pottery production. Further excavation took place from the 17th to early 19th centuries and used for storage of trade goods. There is some evidence that prisoners captured during the French Revolutionary Wars or Napoleonic Wars were imprisoned in the caves but it is clear that the local folklore that slaves were imprisoned in the caves during the Bristol slave trade is false. After the closure of the last glass factory the caves were used for storage and became a rubbish dump. The caves are not generally open but have been used for film and music events. The explored and mapped area covers over 1 acre (0.40 ha) however several areas are no longer accessible and the total extent of the caves is not known.

Redcliffe Bridge is a bascule bridge over the floating harbour in Bristol, England. The bridge was built in 1938 and rebuilt in 1942 after being damaged by bombing during the Second World War.The bridge connects The Grove and Welsh Back, on the western side of the harbour, with Redcliffe to the east. It is the furthest upstream of the opening bridges across the harbour. The next bridge upstream, Bristol Bridge, is a fixed bridge that marks the limit of navigation for any vessel unable to pass beneath its arches.From 1882 until the building of Redcliffe Bridge, a ferry connected The Grove with Guinea Street.The bridge is currently undergoing maintenance and as a result, is closed to all motorised and pedestrian traffic.

Boleh (the name means "Can do" in Malay) is a junk yacht built in Singapore in 1948-9 by Commander Robin Kilroy DSC Royal Navy, and now based in Chichester Harbour and operated along the South coast of England by the Boleh Trust.

Mayflower is a steam tug built in Bristol in 1861 and now preserved by Bristol Museums Galleries & Archives. She is based in Bristol Harbour at M Shed (formerly Bristol Industrial Museum). She is the oldest Bristol-built ship afloat, and is believed to be the oldest surviving tug in the world.

14 and 15 King Street is the address of an historic warehouse building in King Street, Bristol, England. It was built around 1860 and is now occupied by a restaurant and offices. The contemporary 32 King Street is of similar design. It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade IV listed building.

7 and 8 King Street are a pair of historic houses situated on King Street in Bristol, England. They date from 1665. During restoration in 1976 it was found that recycled ships timbers had been used for much of the oak studding and bracing in the buildings, and barrel staves had been used as laths. The oriel window of number 7 is an original feature, whilst the windows of number 8 were replaced during the eighteenth century.7 and 8 King Street have been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building.
