The Siersza Power Station (Polish: Elektrownia Siersza) is a coal-fired thermal power station in Trzebinia, Poland. It is operated by TAURON Wytwarzanie. There are 6 turbo generators (two are no longer used) and 3 chimneys. The installed capacity is 546 MWe and the thermal capacity is 61 MWt. The remaining thermal energy is used locally.

The town became part of Lesser Poland Voivodeship after being part of Katowice Voivodeship (1975–1998). With population of 20,175 (Dec. 31, 2010), Trzebinia is an important industrial center. The town lies in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, 269 to 407 m (883 to 1,335 ft) above sea level. Trzebinia is a rail and road hub, and lies at a junction of the A4 Motorway and National Road Nr. 79. The distance to John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice is 30 kilometres (19 miles).

Its seat is the town of Trzebinia, which lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Chrzanów and 35 km (22 mi) west of the regional capital Kraków. The gmina covers an area of 105.22 square kilometres (40.6 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 33,959 (out of which the population of Trzebinia amounts to 18,769, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 15,190). The gmina contains part of the protected area called Kraków Valleys Landscape Park.

Bukowno [buˈkɔvnɔ] is a town in Olkusz County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland. Before 1975 it belonged to the Kraków Voivodeship and in 1975-1998 to the Katowice Voivodeship. Bukowno is a major center of industry, with zinc and lead plants. The town has the area of 63 km2., of which 73% is forested. Bukowno is a rail hub, with rail connections to Olkusz, Kielce, Jaworzno and Katowice. It also is located along the Broad Gauge Metallurgy Line. Five kilometers north of town goes National Road Nr. 94.
