Tzur Hadassah (Hebrew: צוּר הֲדַסָּה, lit. Rock of Hadassah) is a local council located in the Jerusalem Corridor, located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southwest of Jerusalem, at an altitude of 755 meters above sea level, located on Route 375 west of Betar Ilit, about one kilometer west of the Green Line, adjacent to the Palestinian village of Wadi Fukin. In 2021 it had a population of 11,930. In 2023 it was awarded Local council (Israel) status.

Al-Qabu (Arabic: القبو, "the vault, or cellar") was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jerusalem Subdistrict. The name is an Arabic variation of the site's original Roman name, and the ruins of a church there are thought to date to the era of Byzantine or Crusader rule over Palestine. Al-Qabu was depopulated on 22–23 October 1948, following the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Following Israel's establishment, homes in the village were blown up by Israeli troops in May 1949 and in 1950, the moshav of Mevo Beitar was founded on the village lands.

Wadi Fukin (Arabic: وادي فوقين) is a Palestinian village in the West Bank, eight kilometers southwest of Bethlehem in the Bethlehem Governorate. The village, is located on 700 acres of land, between the Green Line and the Israeli West Bank barrier, According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Wadi Fukin had a population of over 1,168 in 2007. with the Israeli settlement of Beitar Illit on one side, and the Israeli town of Tzur Hadasa on the other. The village relies on agriculture as its primary source of income. Israel served eviction orders on the village in September 2014.Ahmad Sukkar is the head of the village council.

Ras Abu 'Ammar (Arabic: رأس أبو عمار) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jerusalem Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War on October 21, 1948, by the Har'el Brigade of Operation ha-Har. It was located 14 km west of Jerusalem, surrounded on three sides by the Wadi al-Sarar.

Khirbet Jurish (Heb. Hurvat Geres) is an archaeological ruin 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Jerusalem. The site is protected by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority. The ruins of the site stand on a hill to the west of Tzur Hadassa, on a mountain now called Har Kitron, along regional highway 375.

Beitar Illit (Hebrew: בֵּיתָר עִלִּית; officially Betar Illit; Arabic: بيتار عيليت) is a Haredi Jewish-Israeli settlement organized as a city council in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) southwest of Jerusalem in the West Bank. Beitar Illit is one of Israel's largest and most rapidly growing settlements, and in 2021 had a population of 63,220. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Husan (Arabic: حوسان) is a Palestinian town located 9 km (5.6 mi) west of Bethlehem, in the Bethlehem Governorate. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Husan had a population of 5,511 in 2007.Husan is located in the Seam Zone of the Israeli-occupied West Bank, such that it is separated from the rest of the West Bank by the Israeli West Bank barrier.

Battir (Arabic: بتير) is a Palestinian village in the Bethlehem Governorate of the State of Palestine, in the West Bank, 6.4 km west of Bethlehem, and southwest of Jerusalem. In 2017, the village had a population of 4,696. In 2014, Battir was inscribed in the List of World Heritage Sites as a World Heritage Site in the State of Palestine, under the name Battir – Land of Olives and Vines — Cultural Landscape of Southern Jerusalem. Battir was inhabited during the Byzantine and Islamic periods, and in the Ottoman and British Mandate censuses its population was recorded as primarily Muslim. In former times, the city lay along the route from Jerusalem to Bayt Jibrin. Battir is situated just above the modern route of the Jaffa–Jerusalem railway, which served as the armistice line between Israel and Jordan from 1949 until the Six-Day War, when it was occupied by Israel. In 2007, Battir had a population of about 4,000.

Nahal Katlav (Hebrew: נחל קטלב) is a valley in the Judean Mountains of Israel. It starts near the villages of Bar Giora and Tzur Hadassah in the hilly landscape of the Jerusalem Corridor. In addition to rainwater, it is fed by several springs located in its vicinity (Ein Ktalav, Ein Giora). The name of the wadi is derived from the small-leaved plantain tree (Hebrew ktalav). It heads northwest, passing Bar Giora and descending a deep valley with wooded slopes. It then empties from the left into the Sorek creek, while the railway line to Jerusalem leads through the Sorek valley. Nearby is the abandoned Dayr al-Shaykh railway station (named after an Arab village that stood there until 1948). The slopes of the wadi have stands of original trees and shrubs and the valley is used for tourism. It is included in the Nahal Sorek Nature Reserve.

Bar Giora (Hebrew: בַּר גִּיּוֹרָא) is a moshav in the Judean Mountains in Israel. Located between Beit Shemesh and Jerusalem, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 717.

Yad Kennedy (Hebrew: יד קנדי, Kennedy Memorial), located in the Mateh Yehuda Region near Jerusalem, is a memorial to John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, who was assassinated in Dallas, Texas in 1963. The 60-foot high (18 m) memorial is shaped like the stump of a felled tree, symbolizing a life cut short. Inside is a bronze relief of Kennedy, with an eternal flame burning in the center. It is encircled by 51 concrete columns, one for each of the 50 states in the United States plus one for Washington, D.C., the United States capital. The emblems of the states (and of the District of Columbia) are displayed on each of the columns, and the columns are separated by slim panels of glass. The monument measures approximately 250 feet (76 m) in circumference around its base, and there is space within the memorial for approximately 100 visitors at a time. The monument was built in 1966 with funds donated by American Jewish communities.Yad Kennedy and its adjoining picnic grounds are part of the John F. Kennedy Peace Forest.

Nahalin, also spelled Nahaleen, (Arabic: نحالين) is a Palestinian village located in the Bethlehem Governorate to the southwest of Bethlehem in the West Bank. The village was well known for beekeeping and tens of beehives still exist in Nahalin today. The village is also known locally for its almond and olive trees, vineyards, parsley and vegetables, namely onions and beans. The built-up area of Nahalin consists of roughly 730 dunams, 20 of which make up the old center of the village.
