The Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel is a high-rise hotel and restaurant in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Sheraton Nashville Downtown’s multimillion-dollar transformation was conceptualized by New York–based designer Anna Busta. The Sheraton is the 12th tallest building in Nashville, with 27 stories and a height of 300 ft (91 m).It is notable on the Nashville skyline for its prominent rooftop. In August 2012, the hotel was acquired by the JRK Hotel Group, a subsidiary of JRK Property Holdings.

The Doctor's Building is a six-story commercial building in Nashville, Tennessee that was constructed in 1916 (some sources say 1910) and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The building site was the former location of the home of railroad magnate Colonel Edmund William Cole, with his home being the last 19th-century mansion on Church Street. A new building, known as "The Doctor's Building" was then constructed as a three-story building, with medical offices on the upper floors, and retail shops on the ground floor. A few years later (in either 1916 or 1921), it had three more stories added, increasing its size to 100,000 square feet (9,300 m2). The design, by architect Edward Emmett Dougherty of the architectural firm "Dougherty and Gardner" was of the elaborate Beaux-Arts or Renaissance Revival style. The exterior is sheathed with glazed polychrome terra cotta.In the 1940s and 1950s, the building consisted of office space for many of the city's doctors and dentists.

The American Institute of Parliamentarians (AIP) is a not-for-profit educational organization founded in 1958. The objectives of AIP are to promote the use and teaching of parliamentary procedure, as well as the training and certification of parliamentarians.This organization had 48 members in its first year. It has grown to more than 1,200 members throughout the world, with most of the members residing in North America.AIP uses many parliamentary authorities in its education programs. This diversity allows members and students to be aware of the common parliamentary procedures, understand the history and theory of why certain procedures exist, and advise organizations on the availability of different procedures.For one of the parliamentary authorities, The Standard Code of Parliamentary Procedure, AIP was involved in its revision following the death of the original author.Many members of AIP are also members of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP), and both organizations have worked together with joint NAP/AIP Chapters, collaboration on a Code of Ethics for Parliamentarians, and joint conferences. One of the main differences between the two organizations is that NAP focuses on Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised (RONR), while AIP stresses proficiency and familiarity with a variety of parliamentary authorities.

The War Memorial Auditorium is a 2,000-seat performance hall located in Nashville, Tennessee. Built in 1925, it served as home of the Grand Ole Opry between 1939 and 1943. It is also known as the War Memorial Building, the Tennessee War Memorial, or simply the War Memorial. It is located across the street from, and is governed by, the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and is also adjacent to the Tennessee State Capitol. It received an architectural award at the time of its construction, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

The William R. Snodgrass Tennessee Tower (also known as the Tennessee Tower) is a skyscraper in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, that houses Tennessee government offices. The tower was built for the National Life and Accident Insurance Company and served as its National Life Center until the State of Tennessee acquired it on January 3, 1994. More than 1,000 state employees who had been assigned to numerous locations now work in the building.Although surpassed by the Fifth Third Center as the tallest building in Nashville, its roof remains the highest point in the city because the tower is on a hill.The building is named in honor of William R. Snodgrass, a career public servant who served as Tennessee's Comptroller of the Treasury from 1955 to 1999. The tower was struck by lightning on August 31, 2003, which caused a firepump to turn on the sprinkler system. This caused flooding and extensive damage to the elevator shafts.Prior to being purchased by the state, the building was used to display messages by turning on lights in the windows on the front of the building. After being dormant for 10 years a new message – "Peace" – was displayed on December 17, 2007.

It is located at the corner of Seventh Avenue North and Church Street, Northeast of the older Estes Kefauver Federal Building and United States Courthouse at 801 Broadway. The architect of record is Fentress Architects, and it opened on September 23, 2022.

The logo for First Horizon Bank is at its peak.The tower was purchased by Miami-based Parmenter Realty Partners for $84 million in 2008.In March 2019, Texas-based real-estate investment firm CapRidge Partners purchased the tower for $105.3 million.In November 2013, the tower was sold to Alliance Partners HSP LLC, an affiliate of Honolulu-based The Shidler Group for $103 million.The 511 Group manages the property.
