East Delhi is an administrative district of Delhi in India. The Karkarduma or Karkardooma metro station is an interchange station located on both the Blue Line and the Pink Line of Delhi Metro that was opened on 6 January 2010. While the Blue Line station is at a height of 14.5 m, the Pink Line station, part of the Majilis Park-Shiv Vihar corridor of the Phase III of Delhi Metro, is the second highest station of the Delhi Metro network with a platform height of 20m from ground level.The station is named after the Karkardooma locality in East Delhi, around its historic twin village named Karkari. The area also has the district court of Delhi, the Karkardooma District Court in Karkardooma Courts Complex built in 1997–98.

The Karkarduma Court metro station is located on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. As part of Phase III of Delhi Metro, Karkarduma Court is the metro station of the Pink Line.

The Swasthiya Vihar metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. There's no parking facility by the metro station authority but passengers have the option to park their vehicles in the parking lot of the V3S mall, which is right next to the metro station. Like most of the other metro stations, there are four entry/exit gates here. Public amenities at Swasthiya Vihar metro station includes a Sulabh Complex (paid service). There are a number of outlets like Buddy's in the metro station premises. A couple of them are at the concourse level and one is at the entrance of gate number 2, which is near the entrance of V3S mall. Near the metro station, besides the V3S mall, there is PSK (Coffee Home), Scope Minar and several commercial office buildings. There's the famous Veer Savarkar Marg, also known as Mini Nehru Place, a technology hub. Moreover, there are showrooms of big clothing and jewelry brands. Just below the metro station is the Nirman Vihar Bus Stand, from where passengers can board buses for I.T.O, Khureji, Jheel, Pandav Nagar and other areas which are not connected to Delhi Metro.

Hasanpur is a village in East Delhi, India. Hasanpur is located in prime area of East Delhi – near Patparganj and Mayur Vihar. Village was recently in news when DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) decided to pay a sum of Rs.5.91 crores for easement rights of plots measuring about 700 m². Owing to its location and easy connectivity, a large number of offices of advocates practising at Supreme Court have come up in the area. Famous personalities: Late. Pt. AAP's S.K.Bagga defeated BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi by 2277 votes in the 2015 assembly election.

Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies (BPIBS) is a government higher education institute located in New Delhi, India. It grants various postgraduate and undergraduate programmes, being affiliated to Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU).
