Hasanpur is a village in East Delhi, India. Hasanpur is located in prime area of East Delhi – near Patparganj and Mayur Vihar. The entire Hasanpur Depot and Patparganj Industrial Area have come up on the land forming part of revenue estate of Village Hasanpur. Village was recently in news when DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) decided to pay a sum of Rs.5.91 crores for easement rights of plots measuring about 700 m². Swami Vivekanand Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) popularly known as Anand Vihar ISBT, located in East Delhi is one of the three Inter State Bus Terminals in Delhi. Anand Vihar ISBT was built in 1993, but it became fully functional with effect from March 1996. It is spread over an area of approximately 25 acres and operates bus services between Delhi and two other states, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The Karkarduma or Karkardooma metro station is an interchange station located on both the Blue Line and the Pink Line of Delhi Metro that was opened on 6 January 2010. While the Blue Line station is at a height of 14.5 m, the Pink Line station, part of the Majilis Park-Shiv Vihar corridor of the Phase III of Delhi Metro, is the second highest station of the Delhi Metro network with a platform height of 20m from ground level.The station is named after the Karkardooma locality in East Delhi, around its historic twin village named Karkari. The area also has the district court of Delhi, the Karkardooma District Court in Karkardooma Courts Complex built in 1997–98.

The Ghazipur landfill is a landfill waste dumping site established in 1984. It is located in Ghazipur, a village in the eastern district of Delhi, India. The landfill covers an area of approximately 70 acres (28 ha) and reaches heights of over 150 feet (46 m). Ghazipur has become one of the largest landfills in Delhi. The landfill reached its maximum capacity in 2002; however, it continues to receive solid waste from the city of Delhi. Despite efforts to mitigate problems, long term mismanagement at the landfill has created significant ongoing environmental, fire, and human health hazards, with the site emitting toxic gases, polluting groundwater, and creating an extreme fire hazard. A major fire broke out at the landfill site on 21 April 2024; the fire rapidly spread, engulfing several areas of the landfill. Toxic smoke from the fire has caused significant health and breathing problems. The cause of the fire is undetermined. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has requested a reply from the relevant authorities, such as the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), regarding the recent fire incident at the Ghazipur landfill site within a period of five weeks.

The Trilokpuri Sanjay Lake metro station is located on the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. As part of Phase III of Delhi Metro, Trilokpuri is the metro station of the Pink Line.
