Croatian Fraternal Union Avenue (Croatian: Avenija Hrvatske bratske zajednice, often shortened to Avenija HBZ) is a controlled-access avenue in Zagreb, Croatia. Going north-south, the avenue connects the Martinovka neighborhood near downtown and Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in the north with Novi Zagreb and the Liberty Bridge in the south. The road runs from Paromlinska Street to Tomljanovićeva Road, intersecting Vukovar Avenue, Slavonska Avenue (interchange) and ending in the south with an interchange on Tomljanovićeva Road. Although it carries a lot of traffic, its drivers have to stop at traffic lights built on each intersection and interchange, prompting its status as one of the deadliest roads in Zagreb.The avenue carries six lanes of traffic throughout its length except for the Freedom Bridge. An expansion of the bridge is planned for 2009.

National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) (Croatian: Nacionalna i sveučilišna knjižnica u Zagrebu, NSK; formerly Nacionalna i sveučilišna biblioteka u Zagrebu, NSB) is the national library of Croatia and central library of the University of Zagreb. The Library was established in 1607. Its primary mission is the development and preservation of Croatian national written heritage. It holds around 3 million items. Since 1995 the NSK has been located in a purpose-built cubical building in central Zagreb.

Hrvatska radiotelevizija (abbr. HRT), or Croatian Radiotelevision, is Croatia's public broadcasting company. It operates several radio and television channels, over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. HRT is divided into three joint companies – Croatian Radio (Hrvatski radio), Croatian Television (Hrvatska televizija) and Music Production (Glazbena proizvodnja), which includes three orchestras (Symphony, Jazz and Tamburitza) and a choir. The founder of HRT is the Republic of Croatia which exercises its founder's rights through the Croatian Government. Croatian Radio (then Radio Zagreb) was founded on 15 May 1926. This date is considered the date on which HRT was founded. Television Zagreb (today Croatian Television) began broadcasting on 7 September 1956. By the law enacted by the Croatian Parliament on 29 June 1990, Radio Television Zagreb was renamed to Croatian Radiotelevision. HRT operates as a provider of public broadcasting services, and Croatia provides independent funding in accordance with the Croatian Broadcasting Company Law and the State Aid Rules for Public Broadcasting Services. In carrying out its activities, HRT is independent of any political influence and commercial interest. On 25 May 2012, HRT's archive of the television and radio program and its collection of musical production were given the status of Croatian cultural heritage.

Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall (Croatian: Koncertna dvorana Vatroslava Lisinskog) is a large concert hall and convention center in Zagreb, Croatia. It is named after Vatroslav Lisinski, a 19th-century Croatian composer. The building has a big hall with 1,841 seats and a small hall with 305 seats. A large lobby doubles as an exhibition area.

Croatian Railway Museum (Croatian: Hrvatski željeznički muzej) is a specialized technical museum in Croatian capital Zagreb, located on the premises of Zagreb Glavni kolodvor, the main railway station of Zagreb.

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences or the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb (Croatian: Filozofski fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu) is one of the faculties of the University of Zagreb.

Zagreb Glavni kolodvor (Croatian for Zagreb main station) is the main railway station in Zagreb, Croatia. Located 1 km (0.62 mi) south of the city's main square, it is the largest station in Croatia and the main hub of the Croatian Railways network.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (Croatian: Fakultet elektrotehnike i računarstva, abbr: FER) is a faculty of the University of Zagreb. It is the largest technical faculty and the leading educational as well as research-and-development institution in the fields of electrical engineering and computing in Croatia. FER owns four buildings situated in the Zagreb neighbourhood of Martinovka, Trnje. The total area of the site is 43,308 m2 (466,160 sq ft). As of 2011, the Faculty employs more than 160 professors and 210 teaching and research assistants. The University Computing Centre in Zagreb (Croatian: Sveučilišni računski centar, abbreviated SRCE, which also means "heart") has a long tradition in the area of information and communication technologies. It was founded in 1971 within the University of Zagreb, the only Croatian university at the time, with the purpose to enhance the implementation of information technologies in the academic community as well as in Croatia in general. Today, SRCE is the main computing centre and the architect of the e-infrastructure, covering both the University of Zagreb and the whole research and high education system. Furthermore, SRCE is the competence center for information and communication technologies as well as the center for education and support in the area of ICT application.

Eurotower is a high-rise building in Zagreb, Croatia, located in Trnje at the intersection of the Vukovarska and Lučićeva streets, in the southwest corner. It was built in 2006. This office tower has 26 levels and it is 96 m (315 ft) tall. Eurotower is currently best known as the headquarters of the Zagreb Stock Exchange and KPMG in Croatia. The architect is Marijan Hržić, who is also the designer of the Cibona Tower in Zagreb.
