Currarong, New South Wales

Beecroft Peninsula is the northern headland of Jervis Bay, on Australia's east coast. On the western and southern sides of the peninsula steep sandstone cliffs rise out of the ocean, up to 91 metres at its southernmost point, Point Perpendicular. White sandy beaches are found along the northern, eastern and southern sides interspersed with numerous intertidal reefs. The Beecroft Peninsula encompasses an area of about 5250 hectares just south of the town of Currarong, about 200 kilometres south of Sydney. The historic Point Perpendicular Lighthouse, and its grounds, constructed in 1899 at Point Perpendicular, is the southern tip of the peninsula at the northern entrance to Jervis Bay. A large part of the Beecroft Peninsula, about 4200 hectares, is under the administration of the Australian Defence Force for use as a live-firing range called the Beecroft Weapon Range. Access to this weapons range is restricted to the public at certain times.

Wandra was a wooden twin screw steamer built in 1907, for Allen Taylor & Company, by Denis Sullivan at Coopernook, New South Wales. Her hull was towed to Sydney for her engines to be fitted by Begg and Greig.

Jervis Bay National Park, formerly known as Jervis Bay National Park (NSW), consists of several protected areas on the western and northern foreshores of Jervis Bay, on the south coast of New South Wales. The park is close to the town of Huskisson and includes Hyams Beach, renowned for its white sand, whale watching and fishing opportunities.Visitor facilities are provided in the Greenfield Beach section of the park, including toilets, showers and walking tracks. The park was gazetted in 1995 as "Jervis Bay National Park (NSW)" to avoid confusion with nearby Booderee National Park in the Jervis Bay Territory, then known by the same name. Part of Jervis Bay itself is reserved as Jervis Bay Marine Park. The Aboriginal heritage in the park dates back thousands of years and they still feel a strong connection to the land.Jervis Bay National Park is 48.57 km2 in size and is managed by the NSW Department of Planning & Environment. The average altitude of the terrain is 16 metres.

Point Perpendicular Light is a lighthouse located on Point Perpendicular, a point at the southern tip of the Beecroft Peninsula, in New South Wales, Australia. It marks and the northern entrance to Jervis Bay. The historic lighthouse was active from 1889 to 1993 and is still present, though its future is unclear. It is believed to be the first lighthouse in New South Wales which was built of precast concrete blocks. The light was replaced in 1993 with a skeletal tower which is active.

Lake Wollumboola is a 648 hectares (1,600 acres) coastal lake in the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales, Australia. It lies to the immediate south of the town of Culburra Beach and to the north of Jervis Bay. It forms part of Jervis Bay National Park. The lake is separated from the ocean by a berm about 100 metres (330 ft) wide which breaches only when the lake fills to over 2.5 metres (8 ft 2 in) above mean sea level.

Jervis Bay () is a 102-square-kilometre (39 sq mi) Oceanic bay and village in the Jervis Bay Territory (ACT) and on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. A 70-square-kilometre (27 sq mi) area of land around the southern headland of the bay is a territory of the Commonwealth of Australia known as the Jervis Bay Territory which is administered by (but is not a part of) the Australian Capital Territory. The Territory includes the settlements of Jervis Bay Village and Wreck Bay Village. The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) base, HMAS Creswell, is in the Jervis Bay Territory between Jervis Bay Village and Greenpatch Point.

Culburra Beach, commonly referred to as Culburra, is a town located in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. Located within the Shoalhaven local government area, the town is 18 kilometres (11 mi) east-southeast of Nowra on Jerrinja Wandi Wandian Aboriginal Country. At the 2016 census, the town had a population of 2,874 and is the regional centre for the coastal villages of Currarong, Callala Beach, Callala Bay and Orient Point.

Jervis Bay Marine Park is a marine protected area established by the Government of New South Wales in 1998. and the current zoning plan has been in place since 1 October 2002. The marine park is approximately 210 km2 (81 sq mi) in area and spans over 100 km (62 mi) of coastline from Kinghorn Point in the north to Sussex Inlet. The marine park is zoned to conserve biological diversity in marine habitats and to provide a range of recreational and commercial activities.

Callala Bay is a small town on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia in the City of Shoalhaven. The town is situated on the northern shore of Jervis Bay about 20 minutes drive from Nowra and 10 minutes from Culburra Beach. Callala Bay has an approximate elevation of 13 metres (43 ft) above sea level, and is located inland from Callala Point, a headland facing the Tasman Sea. Nearby settlements include Callala Beach and Myola to the south-west, Currarong to the south-east and Culburra Beach to the north-east. Bowen Island is a sandstone island lying 250 metres (270 yd) off the tip of the Bherwerre Peninsula at the entrance to Jervis Bay, on the coast of New South Wales, Australia. The island, however, is not part of the state of New South Wales but of the Jervis Bay Territory, administered by Australia's federal government. It lies within the Booderee National Park. In the 1990s it was raised as a prospective site to establish an internment camp for drug users to recover from heroin addiction.

Callala Beach is a small town on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia in the City of Shoalhaven. Like most beaches in Jervis Bay, it is known to have brilliantly white sand and aqua blue waters. The beach is a tourist spot and is a 2.5-hour drive from Sydney, located to its south.

Jervis Bay Nuclear Power Plant was a proposed nuclear power reactor in the Jervis Bay Territory on the south coast of New South Wales. It would have been Australia's first nuclear power plant, and was the only proposal to have received serious consideration as of May 2023. Some environmental studies and site works were completed, and two rounds of tenders were called and evaluated, but the Australian government decided not to proceed with the project.
