Vlăsia

Grădiștea is a commune in the northeastern part of Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Grădiștea and Sitaru. Its name is of Slavic origin and has the meaning of the Latin word castrum. The name was used by the Slavs to locate the ruins of the old Roman fortifications.

Moara Vlăsiei is a commune in the northern part of Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania. Its name means "Mill of Wallachia[n forest]", and was called Căciulați until 1968, when its administrative center was moved from the village of Căciulați to Moara Vlăsiei (a village previously named Moara Săracă— the Poor Mill). It is composed of two villages, Căciulați and Moara Vlăsiei. The village is home to Moara Vlăsiei Cricket Ground, the only cricket field in Romania.Train stations in Căciulați and Moara Vlăsiei serve the CFR Line 700, which connects Bucharest with the Moldovan border at Giurgiulești.

The Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground is a cricket ground in Moara Vlăsiei, Ilfov County, Romania. The ground was built between 2011 and 2013, and is the only turf ground in Romania. It hosted the 2019 Continental Cup, a five-team Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament.

Afumați is a commune in the east of Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania, composed of a single village, Afumați. Its name is derived from the Romanian verb "a afuma", meaning to smoke food. The commune is located 15 km (9.3 mi) northeast of downtown Bucharest, on the left bank of the river Pasărea. The ruins of the Princely Court of Radu of Afumați, Voivode of Wallachia from 1522 to 1529, are located at the entrance in the commune.Afumați is traversed by the DN2 road, which connects Bucharest to Urziceni. It is bordered on the north by Dascălu commune, on the west by Ștefăneștii de Jos commune, on the south by the town of Pantelimon, on the southeast by Găneasa commune, and on the northeast by Petrăchioaia commune. Stadionul Comunal is a multi-use stadium located in Afumați. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of the CS Afumați football club.

Ștefăneștii de Jos is a commune in the centre of Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania. Its name means "Lower Ștefănești", derived from Ștefan (Stephan) and suffix -ești. The commune is composed of three villages: Crețuleasca, Ștefăneștii de Jos, and Ștefăneștii de Sus.
