The University of the Philippines College of Law (often referred to as UP Law) is the law school of the University of the Philippines Diliman. Formally established in 1911 in UP Manila, it is the third oldest continually-operating law school in the Philippines. Since 1948, it has been based in UP Diliman in Quezon City, the flagship of the UP System's eight constituent universities. The college also holds extension classes at the Bonifacio Global City campus of UP Diliman in Taguig and the Iloilo City campus of UP Visayas.UP Law is noted for having produced the largest number of bar topnotchers and maintaining one of the highest bar passing rates among law schools in the Philippines.

The Parish of the Holy Sacrifice, also known as the Church of the Holy Sacrifice, is a landmark Catholic chapel on the University of the Philippines Diliman campus. It belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cubao and its present parish priest is Rev. Fr. Jose S. Tupino III. More popularly known as the UP Chapel, the church was constructed under the supervision of Fr. John P. Delaney, who began ministering to the spiritual needs of the campus in 1947. Known for its architectural design, the church is recognized as a National Historical Landmark and a Cultural Treasure by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, and the National Museum of the Philippines respectively. It was designed by the late National Artist of the Philippines for Architecture, Leandro Locsin, one of four National Artists who collaborated on the project. According to a post from the UP Diliman website, it is the only structure in the country where the works of five national artists can be found. Alfredo Juinio served as the structural engineer for the project. The church is adjacent to the U.P. Health Service Building and the U.P. Shopping Center, and is serviced by all of the university's jeepney routes.

The Church of the Risen Lord is a Protestant church located in the University of the Philippines campus in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. It was constructed in the 1950s through the Christian Youth Movement (CYM), a student youth group.

The University of the Philippines School of Economics is a degree-granting unit of the University of the Philippines Diliman (U.P.), where it occupies the buildings of the Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED). The school offers two Bachelor of Science degrees (B.S. Economics and B.S. Business Economics), two master's degrees (Master in Development Economics and M.A. in Economics) and the Ph.D. in economics. Established in 1965, the School of Economics was chosen as the first and only CHED Center for Excellence in Economics in the Philippines in 1999. Its academic programs enjoy a high national and international reputation, with a regular faculty consisting entirely of Ph.D.-holders. In April 2017, the School was among the top 5% (rank 175 among 7,408) of economics departments in the world based on the strength of its graduate students, as ranked by RePEc.The faculty has included three National Scientists, one Academician, and several Outstanding Young Scientists, all as recognized by the National Academy of Science and Technology of the Philippines. Faculty research is particularly strong in the areas of health economics, public economics, and development economics. In collaboration with the Philippine Economic Society, the school publishes the Philippine Review of Economics, the journal of the economics profession in the country. Graduates of the School of Economics have distinguished themselves in the fields of economics, business, law, education, and politics. Among notable alumni of the School, or the economics department preceding it, are deans of the School and officers of the university, leaders of the Philippines' largest companies, entrepreneurs, economics faculty in various Philippine universities, past and present government Secretaries and Undersecretaries, including officials of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), a member of the Commission on Elections, two governors of the Philippine central bank, members of the Philippine Senate and House of Representatives, two Justices of the Supreme Court, a Vice-President of the Philippines, and a President of the Philippines. The current dean of the School of Economics is Prof. Ma. Joy V. Abrenica, Ph.D.

The Jorge B. Vargas Museum & Filipiniana Research Center, simply known as the UP Vargas Museum, is a museum located at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman campus which houses the collection of art, stamps and coins, library, personal papers and memorabilia of Jorge B. Vargas which he bequeathed to the university. It is under the management of the UP Diliman College of Arts and Letters.

The University of the Philippines Diliman (Filipino: Unibersidad ng Pilipinas Diliman), also referred to as UPD, UP Diliman, or simply University of the Philippines or UP, is a coeducational, public research university located in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. It was established on February 12, 1949, as the flagship campus and seat of administration of the University of the Philippines System, the national university of the Philippines. It is the fourth oldest and is the largest constituent campus of the University of the Philippines System in terms of the number of degree-granting academic units, student population, faculty, and library resources. There are 27 degree-granting units on campus, accounting for 22,031 students of which, 15,299 are undergraduates. UP Diliman had a complement of 1,526 full-time faculty in 2012, of whom 528 have doctoral degrees.In addition to the units in the main campus, UP Diliman has extension programs in Angeles City, Pampanga (the Clark Freeport Zone area) and Olongapo, Zambales, as well as a marine laboratory in Bolinao, Pangasinan under the Marine Science Institute, and an annex campus at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. UP Diliman offers academic programs in 247 major fields. There are 70 programs at the undergraduate level, 109 at the master's level and 68 at the doctoral level.The UP Diliman campus is also the site of the country's National Science Complex. Notable research units of UP Diliman centered at the National Science Complex include the Marine Science Institute (MSI), the National Institute of Geological Sciences (NIGS), the National Institute of Physics (NIP), the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology–Diliman (NIMBB-Diliman), and the National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (NISMED), which are all pioneers of scientific research and development in the Philippines. The Sentro ng Wikang Filipino, devoted to research on the intellectualization of the Filipino language is also located in the campus.

The Oblation (Filipino: Pahinungod, Oblasyon) is a concrete statue by Philippine National Artist artist Guillermo Tolentino which serves as the iconic symbol of the University of the Philippines. It depicts a man facing upward with arms outstretched, symbolizing selfless offering of oneself to his union.

The Diliman Commune was an uprising led by the students, faculty members, and residents of the University of the Philippines Diliman, together with transport workers, on February 1–9, 1971, in protest of the three centavo increase in oil prices midway through the second term of the Marcos administration—about a year after the events of the First Quarter Storm and about a year before Marcos' eventual declaration of Martial Law.It also refers to an intentional community established by the protesters patterned after the Paris Commune of 1871. Like the supporters of Paris Commune, the protesters referred to themselves as Communards. They renamed the University of the Philippines Diliman campus to "Malayang Komunidad ng UP Diliman" ("Free Commune of UP Diliman"). They also took control of the DZUP radio station and the UP Press, and ran their own publication called the Bandilang Pula ("Red Flag").

The PAGASA Astronomical Observatory also known as the PAGASA Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines within the University of the Philippines Diliman campus. Established in 1954 and managed by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the facility hosts the largest operational telescope in the Philippines.The facility's Observatory dome hosts a computer-based 45 cm (1.48 ft) Cassegrain reflector telescope which was donated by the Japanese government through a cultural aid grant and installed at site in May 2001. Prior to this period, the Observatory used a 30 cm (0.98 ft) reflector-type telescope. The current telescope is often used for CCD imaging of stars.The PAGASA Observatory was opened for public use on February 16, 2003, during the start of the National Astronomy Week.

The U.P. College of Science is one of the several colleges (or degree-granting units) of the University of the Philippines Diliman, the flagship campus of the University of the Philippines System. The college is not only one of the largest, but also a foremost pacesetter of academic excellence in the university due its recognition as the national center of excellence in academics and research in the field of natural sciences and mathematics, and has the largest concentration of Ph.D. holders in its faculty in the whole country.The college is composed of eight institutes, two inter-programs and three affiliated units.

The National Science Complex (NSC), located on a 21.9–hectare lot in the University of the Philippines Diliman, is envisioned to serve as the Philippines' national hub for the generation and application of new scientific knowledge in the natural and applied sciences and mathematics. The National Science Complex was created by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo through an executive order (EO 583). The University of the Philippines College of Science operates the NSC.

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (formerly Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering) of the University of the Philippines College of Engineering (UP EEEI) offers three undergraduate programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering (BSECE), and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCoE) degrees. The Institute also offers graduate programs of study leading to the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) and Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (MEEE) degrees, and the Doctor of Engineering (DE) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Various areas of specialization are offered in the graduate programs: Electric Power Engineering, Computer and Communications Engineering, Microelectronics, and Instrumentation and Control. The undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering is designed to train students in the analysis, planning, design, operation, instrumentation, and control of power systems and associated electrical machines, equipment, and devices. The undergraduate program in Electronics and Communications Engineering prepares students for the evaluation, planning, design, and operation of electronic devices, circuits, and instruments, and of communication equipment and systems. The undergraduate program in Computer Engineering is aimed at training students in the design, implementation, and application of computer hardware and software in modern computer systems. The undergraduate programs in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, and Computer Engineering provide a strong background in science, mathematics, and engineering fundamentals with emphasis on the development of analytical and creative abilities. This enables the graduate to achieve success in a wide range of careers. The curricula are designed to prepare students for leadership in the developmental roles that Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, and Computer Engineering play in the Philippines and in other countries. The student is trained to be an independent and innovative thinker with a solid foundation in the fundamentals. Problem-solving skills and design capability are developed in order to solve both closed-ended and open-ended problems. In the classroom, stress is placed on the integration of basic principles and the application of methods of analysis to electrical and electronic processes and systems. On the other hand, laboratory work is performed to expose students to the equipment and techniques used in scientific investigation and engineering practice. In their project activities, students meet the need for engineering judgment, teamwork, and careful planning. They develop their abilities to observe and make decisions based on independent and creative thought. Students are also provided with schooling in professional attributes like communication skills, the art of self-learning, ethics, and the essentials of quality management. To keep the student well informed of important current and likely future technology, new knowledge and emerging technologies are continuously being integrated into the undergraduate programs. The graduate programs in Electrical and Electronics Engineering provide advanced training in any of the areas of specialization offered by the Institute. Their aim is to provide the country with a pool of highly qualified electrical and electronics engineers who are able to carry out creative and challenging work in research, development, high-level design, industry, university teaching, and government, and who are capable of using existing and emerging technologies in solving today’s problems.
