Colegio de San Ignacio de Loyola Vizcaínas is a non-profit educational institution which was established in the mid 18th century in a Baroque building that occupies an entire city block in the historic center of Mexico City. The school has maintained most of its mission and organization and is the only continuously operating colonial era institution in Mexico. It was originally established for the education of orphaned girls and widows, but now it is co-educational. It offers education from kindergarten through senior high school (preparatoria, meaning "preparatory school"). The building is not generally open to tourists, but can be rented for social events, such as the Shallalom wedding.

Regina Coeli Convent Church is a Roman Catholic parish church and former convent built in the historic center of Mexico City, on the corner of Regina and Bolivar Streets. The church building is the only functioning portion of a former 16th century convent. The church is Churrigueresque in style from the 18th century and was part of the convent of Regina Coeli Conceptionist nuns. The former convent was closed during the Reform War and is generally not open to the public. The church is still open to worship and visitors and contains several of its original gilded Churrigueresque altarpieces from the 18th century. One in particular, the altar dedicated to the Virgin of the Fountain is an early, but developed example of the Churrigueresque style. Despite the church’s status as a national monument, it has had serious conservation problems due to deterioration since the mid 20th century.

The San Juan Market is a traditional Mexican market in the historic center of Mexico City that has become the city’s only such market specializing in gourmet and exotic foods. It is known for its selection of exotic meats, including venison, crocodile, wild boar and even lion meat, as well as a wide selection of products from Europe and the Americas. Unlike other such markets in Mexico City, it caters to chefs, restaurateurs and foodies, many of whom are foreigners and have long-standing relationships with particular vendors.

Escuela Libre de Derecho (ELD) is a law school in Mexico City founded in 1912. Since its establishment in 1912, the Escuela has had as its only mission the teaching of law, breeding from the principles of academic freedom, outside of any form of religiosity, or political ideology. Alumni of this school practice law in the private, as well as in the public sector, in every level of government, in the three branches of government and constitutionally autonomous organisms, and includes among its alumni two Mexican presidents, and former and current Supreme Court members.

Isabel La Católica is a metro station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Colonia Centro neighborhood in the Cuauhtémoc borough in Mexico City's downtown.

San Juan de Letrán is a metro station along Line 8 of the Mexico City Metro. It is located in Mexico City's Cuauhtémoc borough in the city centre, or Centro.The station logo depicts the silhouette of the nearby Torre Latinoamericana, and the name San Juan de Letrán is the name of a church in Rome, Italy. San Juan de Letrán was the former name of Mexico City's central avenue, on which the station stands. Another stretch further south was named Avenida Niño Perdido ("Lost Child"). Today its name is Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas. The station was opened, along with all the others on Line 8, on 20 July 1994.

Churrería El Moro is a restaurant serving churros and hot chocolate in Mexico City. The original 1935 location is on Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas near the Metro San Juan de Letrán in the Historic center of Mexico City. Since 2014 the grandchildren of the original owner have opened branches in Palacio de Hierro department store food halls (Polanco, Perisur, Centro Santa Fe), in the Mercado Roma food hall, on Parque México in Condesa, on Avenida Álvaro Obregón in Colonia Roma, and in Colonia Cuauhtémoc along Río Lerma street, a restaurant row.

Barrio Chino (Simplified Chinese: 墨西哥城唐人街; Traditional Chinese: 墨西哥城唐人街; Pinyin: Mòxīgē chéng tángrénjiē) is a neighborhood located in the downtown area of Mexico City, near the Palacio de Bellas Artes. The neighborhood is located on two blocks of Dolores Street and consists of a number of restaurants and businesses that import goods. The neighborhood consists of approximately 3,000 families with Chinese heritage in Mexico City.

Doctores (Spanish pronunciation ; Spanish lit. transl. "Physicians" or "Doctors") is a station of the Mexico City Metro in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City. It is an underground station with two side platforms, served by Line 8 (the Green Line), between Salto del Agua and Obrera stations. It serves the colonias (neighborhoods) of Doctores and Obrera, and its name is on account of its proximity to the first one, whose streets are primarily named after physicians; the pictogram depicts a couple of them. Doctores station opened on 20 July 1994 with service northward toward Garibaldi and southeastward toward Constitución de 1917. In 2019, the station had an average daily ridership of 12,334 passengers, making it the 138th busiest station in the network and the twelfth busiest of the line.

The Museo de Charrería or Charrería Museum is located in the historic center of Mexico City on Izazaga Street, in an old monastery which was dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat. The monastery closed in 1821 and the building deteriorated significantly until it was decided to rehabilitate it as a tourist attraction. The purpose of the museum is to preserve and promote the sport and tradition of the charreada with both the museum's permanent display of art and handicrafts as well as outreach programs.

The University of the Cloister of Sor Juana (Spanish: Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana) is a private university located in the former San Jerónimo Convent in the historic center of Mexico City. This convent is best known for having been the home of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz for over twenty five years, she produced many of her writings here. After the convent was closed in the 19th century, the large complex was divided and was home to a number of institutions and businesses, including a large dance hall in the mid 20th century. In the 1970s, the government expropriated the complex, explored it and began the restoration process. In 1979, the current university was founded at this site and it is currently the benefactor and guardian of the complex. The institution offers bachelors, two masters and two certificates, mostly in the humanities. The institution also sponsors or co-sponsors a number of cultural and educational activities, mostly situated in the historic center of the city.

The National Technological Institute of Mexico (in Spanish: Tecnológico Nacional de México, TNM) is a Mexican public university system created on 23 July 2014 by presidential decree. At the time of its foundation, the Institute incorporated the 263 former Institutes of Technology that had been created since 1948; first under the patronage of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) and, since 1959, directly dependent of the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP).
